User2491649 Sent on 01/03/2016Amazing food, we got so many compliments on the food at our wedding and how delicious it was. Mon amid also worked with our budget and helped us with other rentals. Overall amazing food and amazing service! I'm very happy with my choice! -

Colleen Sent on 08/26/2011When I initially spoke w this caterer (Jean Atoines mobile cafe) they seemed professional until about 2 weeks prior to our wedding. At that point Marie the coordinater forgot about my linens and couldnt get the time to start serving right. She called me the day before and said she was confused about the time we would start eating. Even to this day on her web calenadar she still has 530 when it was to be started at 4.
Also they had no beverages available for my guests which cost us to lose 15 of them due to her uncooperativeness. She sent a worker of hers to come ask me during our photo shoot if we had any more bottle water. Also I asked for brewed Iced tea and she made instant which didn't come out right because all of our groomsmen and my husband were trying to drink it and it had white floaties in them. At that point the guy serving it just looked at my husband and said "I don't know" and walked off, leaving the dirty glasses at our table. No one could eat the chicken kabobs because they were undercooked.
Also the day of our rehearsal she asked me if i got HER linens and if I had tables for them. And the day of she had no linens for her tables and used our tables. She further went on that afternoon before our wedding was finished and told her workers to start tearing down my tables and I looked at her and them and told them not to touch our tables, they didnt set them up and they are not taking them down in the middle of our reception.
And thats not all, she removed our flowers from the fridge because she said she needed the space and in turn it wilted my bouquet and my husbands booutineere. They tossed our boxes around and lost some of our guest bags.
I would not use them or recommend them to anyone, they are unprofessional and unprepared. -

This is a customer whom canceled her wedding less then 21 days to her event for reasons that involved her venue and funding. We had several conversations with the couple to show them other venues and even adjusted our pricing to accommodate them.
That alone is more then the cater should do sadly this client and I parted ways and she lost her deposit. This customer was upset that her deposit was not returned to her. After speaking with legal council we charged the client the tasting fee, the cost of grocery's, and the chefs hours for the tasting of 5 guest. This is what her deposit covered. Mon Amis Chefs is not a saving account and we do not own the venue she had an issue with.
However this client continues to post reviews on a verity of web sites and we never even catered her wedding. We ask that you look at all our other reviews aside from theirs.

User2406845 Sent on 11/03/2015I hired Mon Amis catering to provide food for my wedding. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of consistency and customer service. The catering crew that worked my wedding arrived late and therefore served my guests about 20 minutes late. The food was an entirely smaller portion than what was served at my tasting. Many of the baked potatoes were under cooked and still hard. I had an agreement to have a baked treats table for the children at my event. And what was served with cupcakes and cookies that were clearly purchased at a grocery store. And a bag of M&M's were poured into a bowl and set on a table. I also paid to have a specific meal prepared and served to the children and it was never done. When I voiced my complaints I was told that there was nothing that could be done was insulted by the owner regarding expectations. I worked directly with Maria and I feel like that was a complete mistake. I also paid approximately $100 per outdoor heater for my guests and three never worked for my event. I am yet to hear back from her regarding reimbursement for this equipment. I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend her or this company to anyone.Mon Amis Personal Chefs's reply:
I was admitted into the hospital when this wedding occurred and was not released till weeks after her wedding.
Unforgettably we have to own this review because I could not verify all her complaints.
