  Absolutely Amazing!

  Monica is overall AMAZING! There just aren't enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Monica captures. Both my finance and I are camera shy, but her outgoing and personable personality allowed us to feel comfortable and at ease throughout our entire engagement session. I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their big day! We are so excited to work with her again at our upcoming wedding!

  A great experience so far, with more to come!

  We're so glad we found Monica. She's been a direct and clear communicator and we're very happy with the engagement shoot she did for us. Really love her candid style and gentle editing that makes the pics look so "in the moment" and genuine. We are so excited for her to shoot our wedding this February. In such uncertain times it's nice to have no qualms about the quality of the photos we'll receive, but also no qualms about her reliability or punctuality.

  I am so happy we chose Monica as our wedding photographer!! Our photos are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. She is a true artist who captures not only the look of the day, but the energy and the love of the day. Monica was so organized the day of, making sure everything ran perfectly smooth, while also letting us enjoy the excitement of the day. She is the kindest, sweetest photographer you'll meet!   Book monica! You won't regret it

  We've changed our wedding date three times, and throughout the entire process, Monica has been nothing short of a dream. She was so accommodating and so compassionate and kind. We first met Monica at our complimentary engagement shoot and her easygoing nature definitely made us feel super relieved. (Posing for photos is not a common thing for us, that's for sure!) But, Monica made us feel like we were pros and have been posing our entire lives!
  
  Monica's style is romantic and that's what made us choose her; her previous photography showcases her artistic vision and I really feel like she stands out from a lot of photographers that have the tendency to over edit and wash their subjects out with bright color.
  
  Monica was so patient with us--my party was running late getting ready and she still managed to get all the portraits we wanted. Not to mention, she has a good understanding of lighting and was able to reposition us in a way that she knew would look best in the photos.
  
  I can't wait to work with Monica again in the future for some other type of portrait...who knows, maybe maternity? ;)

  Monica is an amazing photographer. You can tell she loves what she does and she’s great at it.

  If you are looking for a great photographer to shoot your wedding or your engagement pictures Monica is honestly the person you need. Monica did our engagement pictures for us and I have to say it was by far the best experience. My fiancé hates pictures, and doing this shoot for sure took both of us out of our comfort zone. But Monica made sure that it was fun and very comfortable, she made us feel that we could be ourselves and made the shoot so much fun.

  Fantastic day with Monica!

  Fantastic photographer, extremely professional, and so fun to work with! We had a great couple of hours with Monica shooting our engagement photos, and I absolutely love the final product. She is the best!

  Wonderful and Comfortable

  Monica is amazing and made my fiance and I feel at ease while taking our engagment photos! She is always responsive and courteous!! We can't wait for our wedding day!
  
  Update: We had a wonderful wedding day with Monica!! She made my day easy and made me feel beautiful with all the shots she took! It rained on our day but she didnt let that hold me down. We took some great shots inside and even managed to get some outside! I would work with Monica again without a doubt!!

  So talented!

  My husband hates having his picture taken, but Monica talked to him, walked him through really easy and natural poses that made photoshoots a breeze. I cannot recommend her more! She's very very talented and creative and we lost track of time during the engagement shoot. The photos turned out so gorgeous we had them framed and on display for the wedding! We've gotten a few preview photos from the wedding already and I'm already over the moon. I cannot recommend her more.

  Working with Monica has been an absolute dream! From the start until after the wedding Monica has been responsive, attentive, flexible and so eager to make our vision come true. I had my engagement shoot and of course wedding photos taken by her and without a doubt was the best choice!   Cannot say enough wonderful things about Monica. Since first speaking with her I felt comfortable and confident that she would do an amazing job and she did not disappoint for both the engagement and wedding pictures.   Monica has been amazing to work with. After meeting with her, my fiancé and I knew right away that she was who we wanted to work with. Her photos are artistic, natural, and beautiful, exactly what we wanted. She is very organized and passionate about her field. We could tell that she would make our wedding experience special! And so far, that's exactly what she's done! We took our engagement photos with Monica in May and they came out absolutely beautiful, exceeding our expectations! Monica helped us choose the perfect location and was very flexible in scheduling the time. During our session, Monica was helpful and easy to work with, suggesting all of the right spots for us to stand to capture the best images. She really has a talent for finding spots where the light is perfect. She went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with the session. And we definitely were! That day and those photos will always be an amazing memory for us! And to top it all off, in addition to sending us the digital shots of our photos, Monica sent us a package in the mail which included some of the photos framed and other adorable goodies. We were blown away! Our wedding is coming up in April 2017 and we can not wait to work with Monica on this day! We highly recommend!!!

  Monica was simply amazing!
  She made us feel we were in good hands and we were indeed. Meeting her before the wedding was definitely a great idea as we the chance to get to know each other. She's Colombian just like me so it was definitely a plus, that made me feel immediately more comfortable :)
  
  The quality of her work exceeded our expectations. She is very creative, she would take any props to create the perfect shot!. It's been 1.5 years since our wedding and every time I look at the photos it makes me think how lucky I was to find her. She captured every single moment of happiness in a candid way just how we wanted, and she even stayed for longer!. She's one of the reasons why we think our wedding was perfect!

  From the first official meeting at the engagement shoot, Monica made both the groom and I feel comfortable! I, especially, was very shy taking the pictures, but she made me feel at ease. She was caring and listened to concerns, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day as things became hectic, she made sure everyone was doing their part so me, the bride, had no added stress. Not only was she a great support, but the photos were absolutely beautiful! She is professional and friendly and I would definitely recommend her as your photographer of choice!

  Monica was one of the first vendors that we hired for our wedding. Photography was hugely important to me for the wedding and I knew that I wanted to find a photographer whose work had the right "feel." My fiance and I met with Monica at a local coffee shop, and the thing that stood out to us most was Monica's enthusiasm for her work. To some vendors we would have been just another wedding, but Monica made us feel special. We had an engagement photo session with Monica, which I would definitely recommend to all couples - it definitely helped that we had already gotten to know Monica before the wedding day, and she also had a sense of our styles and the types of shots that we liked. We loved the photos we received from that session.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Monica was very prompt, arriving at our hotel room to get some getting ready shots before heading over to the venue. Throughout the entire wedding day, Monica was so great - we unfortunately had rain, but Monica, along with the second shooter Pam, was very creative and helped us to still capture the portraits that we wanted. As mentioned, we had hired a second shooter, through Monica. Pam was amazing as well, we were very happy to have her taking photos as well. Throughout the reception, Monica was always nearby and ready to take any shots I requested, while capturing candids of the reception. We haven't received our preview yet (expected 4 weeks after our wedding day) but at our request Monica was able to provide us with a few shots so that we could send out Christmas cards. From our very small preview, I'm very excited to see the full set!

  We talked to several photographers and decided to work with Monica essentially because we liked her photos the most and because after talking to her, we thought she was a good fit for us. We did have an engagement session with her and seeing those pictures simply confirmed our choice.

  Overall, with her work before, during and after our weeding Monica helped make our wedding day stress-free for me, my wife and our families. We were delighted with the pictures she took as well as with the album she designed for us.

  Monica started off great and we were very excited to be using her. She was very responsive when we first started speaking but the moment we signed a contract with her (for $5,700) she became less and less responsive.
  
  We had tried twice to plan our engagement photos with her (part of our package) - both times we had tried to confirm a time and location with her two days prior (after having taken off of work for one of the days) and 8 hours later we would receive an email letting us know that she had to cancel.
  
  At one point when we asked for more available dates she said she "only had 3 days in the year left" for this type of photoshoot and suggested that we search for another photographer and she'd be "totally OK" with that. Again - this is after having signed a contract with her for $5,700.
  
  The last time she canceled on us she had her daughter send us an email to call letting us know that she had some kind of tooth issue and that we should just "assume" that our photoshoot was canceled - again.
  
  We eventually were so fed up with how poorly she was handling her business that I emailed her asking to be released of the contract to which she immediately agreed to (after having taken days upon days to get back to any of our other emails) and that is the only reason I'm giving her more than one star. Though she did mention that we'd be getting a formal termination contract and we have still not received one.
  
  Super unprofessional and unreliable.

  Jenan and Saif are a very sweet and genuine couple and I very surprised and sad to receive this review.
  The contract was signed on October 6th but never finalized since I did not receive the deposit.
  Regardless I held the date and they mentioned they would give me the deposit in person.
  It is inaccurate that the engagement session was attempted to be scheduled several times. Only two times. The first time during a work day for Friday October 14th. unfortunately I was not able to leave early as planned. I was always responsive to their emails and I did not take days like the review indicates. I let them both know on October 10th that I would not be able to do the session on October 14th.
  It was then re-scheduled for October 22nd at 11:00 AM. I had emergency oral surgery on Friday October 21st due to a severe infection that spread to my blood. I would not consider this a "tooth issue". I was not able to speak at all and under strong pain medication. I am still on medical leave and also have to re-adjust my schedule with other families and couples.
  Even though it is not required because the contract is not considered final, as a courtesy I am planning to amend the contract to indicate that Jenan and Saif no longer need my services. I am not being negligent in not sending it.
  I am really sorry you feel this way. I know this review might impact my business, but at the end, the people I work with know who I am.
  I can only wish the best for you both.
