  Awesome Catering and Staff!

  Linda with My Sister's Affair Catering designed an awesome menu for our company's special event. The serving tables were decorated and food was displayed beautifully. The uniformed staff was attentive and professional. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was! I would recommend My Sister's Affair to anyone for any type of event.

  Our Company has used My Sister's Affair to cater our annual Christmas dinner parties for the past six years, and I highly recommend Linda Rodriguez's expertise and suggestions to anyone looking for delicious food and dependable service for any event. Our men love the Beef Tenderloin she prepares and that is a MUST for our menu every year. She has offered numerous other choices, some of which we have tried in addition to the beef and all have been exceptional. And the bread pudding with rum sauce is dessert we fight over every year. Her quality and presentation is impressive and frankly, we would not consider using any other caterer as long as Linda is available. She has always been very helpful with suggestions and ideas, and her table centerpieces always fit our needs perfectly. Her staff is well trained and eager to please. We are fortunate to have such an exceptional caterer in our area, who not only serves attractive delicious food, but at very reasonable rates. Keep up the good work, Linda. We look forward to seeing you again in December 2018!

  I couldn't be happier with experience with My Sister's Affair Catering. Linda was extremely professional, helped put our fears of handling a large group of 100 people at ease and was so gracious with our food testing that I felt as thought I'd made a new life-long friend. The food was absolutely WONDERFUL - I want to live where she cooks every day! The prices are great and the delivery was just as wonderful. I recommend whole-heartedly - can't go wrong here.

  They were very easy to work with even though we made multiple changes to the menu leading up to the event. The food was excellent and we received many complements from our guests on the food and service provided during the party.

  My Sister's Affair Catering has marvelous buffet presentation and great food. At our luncheon they served Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed fresh vegetables, salad, dinner rolls, dessert and tea. Everything was perfect and professional.

  Terrific experience working with My Sisters Affair Catering. They were great helping us figure out what worked best for our budget and served a delicious meal and appetizers for our guests. Handled all the serving and clean up and made everything seem effortless. Would definitely use them again.

  I work for a local government agency and we use Linda Rodriguez (My Sister's Affair Catering) for our employee holiday dinner and we have never been disappointed. She is top notch, elegant, and the food is amazing! I highly recommend using her for all your catering needs!

  This was some of the best wedding food I have ever eaten! It was incredibly delicious and prices are affordable.

We were kind of late in looking for a caterer, but she was prompt in communication and we were able to have a trial taste and choose a menu in plenty of time for our wedding. They were able to work well with a finicky venue with strange set-up times and managed to get everything in place and it looked beautiful. There was plenty of staff and plenty of food. There were absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend them for catering your wedding.

  My Sister's Affair catering is beyond fantastic. There is none to compare when looking for a caterer in the Dallas/Ellis county area. At our sit down dinner of approximately 250, dinner was served in 10 minutes. Everyone from the servers to the bar tenders functioned in an extremely professional order. I have read a negative comment, and I am not quite sure why someone would post that, but I found Linda to be extremely helpful. She worked with my not so extravagant budget and gave me an upscale atmosphere. My Sister's Affair had many menus to choose from according to my budget, and each dish was equally delicious, making a decision on which to serve difficult. The gourmet tasting that she offered during the final menu planning was phenomenal. I experienced one on one time with her and my fiancé and I felt "taken care of". I never had a doubt in choosing the BEST. I can not express to you what a relief it is to not have to worry about your catering when you are getting married or are having a large event. I recommend My Sister's Affair to anyone, you won't regret it!

  The staff at My Sisters Affair Catering is second to none. Very flexible, accommodating and helpful. The suggestions for buffet set up at reception was perfect.   Good food and kind people

  There was plenty of good food and everything was presented beautifully, but I was especially grateful for Linda's compassion on a young bride. When I had an issue with my bank and couldn't pay until a day late, Linda was understanding and did not back out or lecture me, as she could have.

The contract was completely spelled out, clear & concise. I do know other individuals who hired My Sister's Affair Catering and heard nothing but POSITIVE COMMENTS. Again, the "negative" review must be from an individual who "dropped the ball" and maybe didn't pay Linda according to the contract.... just my guess cause that's all YOU had to do.... Mrs. Rodriguez took care of the rest. I receIved the invoice after the event in a timely manner and paid Linda in full.

  After searching and searching for a local caterer who didn't charge an arm and a leg, Linda was our hero! We were on a tight budget and she made sure we had everything we wanted for a great price. We had appetizers, dinner, tea, and a very cute hot chocolate bar. She even included table decorations that coordinated with our venue decor. She went above and beyond to give us a beautiful setup and delicious food! She was very pleasant to work with.

We had appetizers, dinner, tea, and a very cute hot chocolate bar. She even included table decorations that coordinated with our venue decor. She went above and beyond to give us a beautiful setup and delicious food! She was very pleasant to work with.

  Linda from My Sister's Affair came recommended to me by my venue. This story ends with me having a breakdown 30 min before walking down the aisle. Let me tell you what happened, so you can be warned.
  After giving Linda a final number of entrees I would need, she sent me an invoice. What I should have done was calculate out each item, and what she charged me for, but I just saw the total price at bottom, saw it was less than what I expected, and just wrote the check for that amount. We had a phone call before the wedding where we confirmed the number of guests and entrees. I told her I would NOT need her cake cutting services.
  Fast forward to the NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING. While I am at my rehearsal dinner, I get a text message from Linda saying she is so sorry, but she messed up on my invoice, and needs $1300 more dollars. I sit down with my fiance once home, and we go item by item down the invoice, (which I admit, I should have done in the first place. I just saw the final total, and thought 'hey, looks good, no need').
  After looking through the original invoice, it's obvious she miscalculated the cost of the beef section. Her mistake. She also messed up on the quantity of beef meals I would need, overcharging by 8 meals.
  So, the day of my wedding, while I'm getting ready, my coordinator returns after arguing that you don't contact the bride the night before her wedding asking for more money. Linda responded with, "So, we should just pack up then?"
  Even after pointing out how she also messed up on the quantity, she responded with, "well, she should have told me about that sooner. I bought beef for 152 people."
  Then, after reluctantly agreeing to write another check, (I'm in tears at this point) I find out she added the $125 cake-cutting fee after being told she was NOT cutting the cake. Long story short, the food was good, but I was in tears 30 min before my wedding bc of her inability to do math and refusal to be a decent business owner.

  At My Sisters Affair Catering, one of my main concerns is to provide my clients with the best experience possible. We pride ourselves on giving 125% to every client. That being said, I regret to say that I fell short on that promise.
  I understand your disappointment and extend my sincerest apologies again for your negative experience.
  My policy is to have all payments 10 days prior to the event with a final number of guest at that time. In this case, I made an exception and agreed to accept payment on the night of the event, again my mistake, leaving me no choice but to call you the day before your wedding as this is when the beef was delivered. This is a mistake that I do not take lightly and understand that the mistake was, in fact, my own.
  I always have the best interest at heart for my clients and again, I apologize.
