    Wow, My wedding was May 1, 2016, it was a perfect day and the venue only helped to make it better. I was a first for them, I used both of their wedding locations for what I wished to have, they were very willing to work with me and just made the whole day perfect. They were very flexible and wanted the day to be just what I wanted. THANK YOU so much for my wonderful day! I highly recommend this venue

    We had our wedding this past weekend there. Working with the folks at Myers Park was great. When we needed to add an hour to our package, the process was easy. Their staff was very helpful on the day-of. They provided a phone number to reach the staff for my MOH which came in handy several times that morning. All our guests loved the place!

    Myers Park is the most beautiful place in Collin County. While the weather did not allow is our Gazebo wedding we still pulled it off in the Landing. Mark Page is the best to work with. You will love him. He answers you back quickly. He is the best. They are all professional, on time and went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much for making our day perfect.

    Myers Park - The Landing Rental

    Wow I couldn't have asked for a better venue nor a better price! They had everything set up the way I had outlined in my map all we had to do was set up the decorations the day of the event. We did pay an extra fee of a dollar a chair to upgrade to the white wooden folding chairs, but that was because we didn't want to have chair covers for the regular folding chairs. They have plenty of 10' round tables and 8' rectangle tables for your event.

    They don't have catering restrictions and have a full kitchen, 2 refrigerators, industrial sized ice maker, industrial size coffee maker and more!

    They currently only have 7 hour rentals on Saturday's that way they could in theory have 2 events I ended up purchasing a 4 hour morning time slot to decorate with and had the 5 to midnight time slot to party/clean up with.

    This is a beer and wine only event center with no glass bottles allowed for beer. Not an issue you save major money by not having to have a bartender (if you don't want one) nor having to provide liquor.

    We had an on site off duty police officer that we just had to pay day of in CASH and he was kind enough to tell us our clean up options as we could pay an extra fee and not have to sweep/clean the place but just take our stuff out. The amount depends on the number of guests at the event and it wasn't much TRUST me well worth paying to give you an idea think a dollar a guest for clean up fees.

    They also opened the bridge for us so that we could take portraits while we were waiting for our guests to arrive and enjoy cocktail hour. The gazebo is also another great spot to take pictures by.

    All and all this place was great to work with they respond promptly to both phone calls and email requests! I really enjoyed doing business with them!

    I highly recommend The Landing & Gazebo at Myers Park for an awesome wedding & reception site!
    The gazebo & pond area provide a beautiful & peaceful setting for the wedding ceremony. The park sets up and takes down the outside chairs.
    The park also provides tables & chairs inside the hall. You are free to choose whatever vendors you would like to supply linens, catering, music etc.
    Our first attraction to Myers Park was the pricing. It is very budget friendly compared to other sites in the Dallas area. As soon as we got there to check it out, we knew THIS was THE place.
    We found Mark, the event coordinator, to be very pleasant and easy to work with. He explained everything up front, and things were also explained in the contract. He was very accommodating to our needs. It was a pleasure to work with him.
    Several of the guests commented and asked how we found such a nice place.
    Everything went perfectly at my daughters August wedding, thanks to Mark Page & the rest of the staff.

    Our experience at Myers Park was amazing! The staff was very helpful. The only problem was that we got an hour for rehearsing and the person that stayed to lock the venue was rushing us out because he "had somewhere to be". Mark is the person that I talked to about everything and he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. They set up all the tables and chairs just how we needed them. The security guard even helped us clean up afterwards. And it's is a BEAUTIFUL venue and for a pretty affordable price! Everything about it is great! I highly recommend!!

    When I came to see this place for a potential wedding ceremony/reception venue I was very surprised with the quality of the place for the price. I had contacted Mark Page who is the main contact for brides. He answered all of my emails, texts, and other social media messages. The Landing is where I held my ceremony and reception of 150 people and they had PLENTY of room. There is a full kitchen which my caterers complimented for. It's a great size and has everything you would need I think which is rare in a venue. The officer that they hired was very friendly and had assisted in many events at this venue so he knew how to turn on inside and outside lights, air, where things go, etc. He was a great help! I believe he even took the the trash for us while my family cleaned out the place afterward. You are presented with a card when you first get there of all the duties you are to take care when you leave the venue. The list was shorter than I had expected especially for such a DIY venue. A couple complaints I had were that you may serve alcohol, but beer must be served in cans. Which slims down your choices of beer. There is an extra $100 charge to serve margaritas. But you must provide you own machines. No other liquor is allowed. Second, they do not allow you to take tables and chairs outside other than for ceremony. The weather was perfect on my wedding day so I was disappointed that I couldn't set up a sitting area outside. Third, they do not allow any fire or sparklers outside the venue. I am sure all of my complaints are a county laws so could be out of their control. In conclusion, Myers exceeded my expectations. They were accessible, friendly, very straight forward, and clear about what kind of venue they provided and what was expected of us. Especially for the price it was everything I had hoped for. I would recommend this place to any DIY and modest cost bride.

    We were extremely happy with Myers Park. The Venue was perfect for our needs. We were going to use the gazebo but it was too windy.
    I cannot say enough about Amanda. She was there to answer any and all questions we had. What a great experience.

    We knew we had found the perfect spot when the answer to our questions were YES! One stress factor is I wish they would have provided linens but all in all it worked out and for the price you cant beat it! The room was big enough to have our ceremony and reception. We would recommend this venue to another couple!

    Myers Park is the perfect location for a bride looking for a rustic location. It was gorgeous and fit our needs to a 'T'. This venue is very budget friendly because you bring in all the vendors yourself (they provide tables & chairs).

    We loved our experience of booking and communicating about our big day with the venue and my confidence was so high because the land is so beautiful out there and it's a bang for your buck! It was a beautiful day. We had lawn games and the day was wonderful. The only down falls is that we didn't have a mic until half way through the reception even though we paid for it, were assuming the night before wedding people put it away somewhere but it wasn't readily available for us, which was a little bleh. And we had tested the speakers two weeks before and the music sounded beautiful, but on our wedding day the speakers were blown and our music was very muffled. That was probably my biggest let down. And we had a coffee bar but the coffee wouldn't warm because a circuit breaker was out. Family and my wedding coordinator had to run around to deal with that so that kinda stunk. But it was a beautiful venue and I still loved every minute.

    The venue it self was gorgeous and Mark at the facility was friendly to work with. The price was right and we were allowed to bring our own beer and wine which was important to us. The only I didn't like was that Mark or someone else for the venue was not onsite when we had issues such as a flickering light and getting the projector to work since we had paid to use it.

    The venue was exactly what we were looking for, but having it unlocked on time was a problem for the rehearsal and the wedding day.

    We fell in love with our venue and reception hall on sight, it is a very beautiful place. It is also a great value! Mark, the guy in charge, was very hard to get in touch with, making some of our arrangements difficult. Also, a rude young man tried to kick us out of our rehearsal early, claiming he didn't know that we had spoken with Mark about changing the time. With that said, they did a great job setting up tables and chairs (the park provides them) for both the ceremony and the reception.

    It was a beautful location, but pretty hard to get to. Had to work with the guy who runs it a lot to get what we wanted. He worked with our schedule though and accomodated to us. We got our deposit back fairly quickly. overall great deal and very pretty.

    The site is wonderful! A lovely ceremony spot overlooking a small lake in a rual setting. It is very convenient to have the reception hall all in one location for the reception. The coordinator we worked with was not as smooth. There was confusion over the time for the rehearsal. The day before we were told we had to bring cash to pay two police officers ($30 per hour per 100 people for each officer) since we were serving alcohol. We paid for the higher package in order to serve alcohol, so this was a surprise. Also, be sure you are clear about the way the deposit is handled. We are still trying to get ours back even though we have paid in full and left the place spotless.

    The director there and is fairly difficult to work with. You must be very direct in your questions and sometimes have to ask several times before recieving an answer. That said, my wedding was beautiful, the location is unique and VERY affordable, especially in the Dallas area. If I had it to do all over I would choose Myer's Park...I'd just ask more questions!

    Some of the rudest people to have worked with. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic attitudes even though this "team" set up our venue entirely incorrectly and REFUSED to let us look at it the day before at the rehearsal. They also refused our DJ and music people AND the entire wedding party access to the reception area even though it was during our rehearsal time, then stated the reason as this: "we have had this problem before with people making footprints on the floor the day before." Umm, what?! We were the FIRST party scheduled for the day at seven am and they were setting up for OUR event. They were sarcastic when we asked simple questions, completely unhelpful in fixing the errors that THEY caused, and simply ugly to my family members and friends who were in attendance. Not to mention that no one was at the office during the set up to ensure it was properly done or to answer the phone when we called about our issues, and none of the workers for set up even made the slightest effort to get in touch with their bosses, acknowledge their screw up, or apologize to us for their unending rudeness. Also were informed just three days before that we needed to pay a security officer $30 an hour in cash when we arrive at the venue because we were serving alcohol. Even though this was not stated in our contract and also apparently not included in the package price which is specially priced HIGHER already because of serving alcohol. Will NOT be doing business with these people again. I am disgusted with how things were run.

    The venue hired a police officer who told the guests he would be giving sobriety tests to anyone he sees consume alcohol at the reception. Thanks for letting us know after the guests arrived
