    Incredible Location/Service and Value

    The beautiful / picturesque grounds at the National Golf Club provided an amazing backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. And the indoor cocktail hour and reception were just as lovely. Everything was perfect from the beginning of our planning to the end of our reception. The service Christine Kuhn, Catering Director and the staff at the golf club was stellar. Planning wedding on a budget could have been hard, but working with Christine and her team, they made our dream wedding a reality.
    We wholeheartedly recommend this venue!

    The National Golf Club was perfect for my niece and neohew's Wedding Vow Renewal on New Year's Day. Love Christine, Catering Director. She is awesome. Christine always made herself available when needed. Everyone we dealt with were professional and courteous. The food was delicious. Definately recommend this venue.

    I LOVE Mrs. Christine,she is reallly nice and gave us so many help and advice. we feel very lucky to have her in our wedding. by the way, the food taste good.

    I LOVE this place but more than anything...I LOVE Mrs. Christine! OMG when you speak with her...it's like you are her only client. She helps whenever and wherever. She makes herself available to you...even when you send a quick email..she calls to speak to you vs responding over email which let me know that she's about customer service. So many of my guest that have upcoming events said they will be looking into this venue as it's beautiful and the food is great!

    On May 21, 2016, I had the wedding of my dreams and the National Golf Club played a MAJOR part in that. I worked very closely with Ms. Christine. My dad found the venue on the website and we were excited about how reasonable the price was. At the time, they had a special (50% off the venue). So we first fell in love with the price. But when we went to visit the golf club, we quickly fell in love with Ms. Christine. Ms. Christine has a sweet personality and a lets make it happen mentality. If we wanted it, she worked on making sure we got it. If she saw a need, she jumped in to take care of it (i.e. helping to setup the room, accommodating the vendors that wanted to look at the golf club). She made the process so effortless. The venue is beautiful! The day of the wedding, my guests raved about the chef’s cooking. The food is DELICIOUS and it is a good amount of food and a nice variety. I loved my experience at the National Golf Club!!!

    Christine is the best Asset at the Golf Club! She was totally responsive and addressed all our needs. The chef was even responsive to our need to make the food spicier. The venue is very lovely with the French doors and the Golf course itself is a gorgeous backdrop for an outdoor wedding. We had an Awesome experience and the price was fair as well. No complaints!!! It was an Amazing Venue for our Wedding !!

    National Golf Club was the best place for us to have our wedding. The catering director was super helpful and very nice. She may sure my wedding was a success.

    Excellent, excellent. Guest raved about the food & venue service. No one can believe that the event was planned in 22 days & not over 1 year. Ms. Thomas was the best & we couldn't have did it without it. Wish that the venue had a separate bathroom for the bride but minor compared to the great event

    I was very satisfied with every aspect of the wedding. I was especially delighted about the service. I was thoroughly taken care of from to very beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend this venue.

    Awesome Wedding Experience in September

    This venue was beautiful and my guests so many compliments the day of the wedding. Christine Kuhn, Venue POC, was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to me and my husband during the process. Very professional staff, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere!

    While we were very grateful for the use of the facilities and the outstanding support from your staff, some patrons felt that the quantity of food on hand at the start of our event was not sufficient.     My Wife and I used Tantallon for our Wedding Ceremony & Reception. We found the staff there very amenable and flexible. Originally they had wanted us to conduct our wedding ceremony in a small area in the back of their main building. We decided against that space as 1) it was too small (our final count was 233) and 2) there was a golf tournament occurring the same day and we were concerned that our guests might get hit by balls or that golfers might disrupt the service.

    Tantallon's staff heard our concerns and allowed us to use their front lawn instead. With the help of a tent and seating we rented from another vendor, we had an exceptional Wedding Ceremony.

    I worked with the coordinator, Christina, and I worked a little with Christine- they were both extremely professional and easy to work with. They were very attentive and they genuinely cared about my requests for my wedding day. They made the wedding planning process very easy and stress-free.

    I had to knock off some points for quality only because the general manager did not shut down the golf course with enough time before the ceremony (I got married on the first hole) - like he was supposed to. When my guests started arriving there were still golfers on the course, so my guests had to wait to be seated. They also had trouble bringing the dinner out in a timely manner on the day of the rehearsal dinner- but that was due to poor planning on the chef's part and lack of attentiveness on the general manager's part.

    On the day of the wedding they made up for that because the food came out very quickly, the food was delicious, and the wait staff was very polite. If you are working with Christina and Christine they will make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.

    I reserved my wedding day during a staffing change. The new Banquet Coordinator was unresponsive and very impersonal. The staff the day of the wedding were lovely. Management was not.

    The room was gorgeous and organized as we requested. The service staff were excellent and made sure our guests had a great time. The planner for the venue was switched during our planning and we preferred the first wedding planner better because he was more responsive.

    The events coordinator or catering staff leader was slothful, unattentive and slow to respond. While preparing the room for set up I noticed cobwebs in the corner walls and what I thought was a spider. I asked the events person to have it removed. She looked at me and asked what am I supposed to do about it. I said don't you have a broom to clean it up. She hesitated and then went to get the broom and remove the spider (daddy long legs is what she called it). But it was removed with attitude. Whenever assistance was needed in regards to setting up, etc., she could not be found on the grounds. When the person arrived with the cake no one could find her. When she was finally located she showed her the way to the cake table with poor attitude. While we were setting up she was walking around with her shoes off-who does this in front of clients. The catering food was stale and old - nothing like the food sampled prior to the wedding. When the bride asked the catering person or events coordinator to follow a schedule regarding opening up the bar, serving the food, the bar was opened ahead of schedule and the food did not get served until the mother of the bride asked where is the food for the guest after the staff plopped two trays on the bridal party table. There is much more to tell. Please do not spend your money here. Willing to provide more information if needed -- along with every single guest who attended the wedding.
