  Dream to work with!

  It was a so seamless working with Not your average Bella from start to finish. Gina was so sweet and easy to communicate with. She would send out super detailed emails with instructions for the trial, leading up to my wedding day, and then my wedding day. I barely had to think. My hair and makeup was done exactly how I envisioned!! Macey and Jenna did and amazing job. My bridesmaids received so many compliments too. I can’t wait to use them in the future. Look no further, you found your dream team!

  Great Glam Squad!

  NYAB was an amazing glam squad for my wedding day. All of my girls looked AMAZING for both hair and makeup. They were timely and really listened to feedback from my trial/day-of adjustments. Side note, I definitely recommend having a third HMUA, which you can add on to your contract with NYAB, if you have a large bridal party - this definitely saved my timeline (we had 8 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and grandmother all getting hair, about half with makeup).

  Beautiful Make Up Application

  Macey was kind, easygoing, professional and excellent at doing my make up for my brother in law's wedding. She gave me her contact information and is actually coming to my home to do my hair and make up for family photos next week. Highly recommend!

  A dream to work with!

  Working with Macey and her team was a dream! I was so nervous until I had my preview session with Macey and Gina. They listened to my concerns and made my hair and makeup way better then I imagined. Macey, Gina, and Jenna came to my venue the morning of which was so convenient. They were sweet and professional. They listened to what my girls wanted and did a beautiful job. My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved their hair and makeup. They also got done my bridal party before the scheduled time which was great! I highly recommend NYAB!!!

  Amazing!

  I don't even know where to start! Gina was so easy to schedule with and Macey was a dream to work with. I was a last minute booking due to the pandemic and having to switch plans over and over again and everything was SO easy from booking to communication. Macey came over and was so prepared and mindful of Covid guidelines the entire time. Not only was my hair and makeup flawless, it also remained impeccable for the entire day! I felt like a glamorous movie star and could not have been happier. I look forward to working with NYAB for future events in my life.

I loved the makeup they did on me and my friends. It was natural and we still felt like ourselves. I loved them so much I decided to hire them for my wedding. My wedding was supposed to be October of 2020. Because of COVID-19, it got rescheduled to October of 2021. Macey and Gina went to the moon and back to make sure I stopped stressing and they were able to accommodate my new date. As a Covid bride, everything has been super stressful. NYAB is the only vendor that was empathetic and accommodating, I can not wait for them to be apart of my new wedding date!!

  NYAB was absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better makeup/hair stylist. From the trial to my wedding, they were very professional and made me feel so comfortable. My wedding was during COVID and they adhered to every safety protocol and even worked with me when one of my bridesmaids could not attend the wedding. Great Pricing for excellent service!   I was looking for a company a couple of years back that had a great reputation and also reasonable prices. I found Macey and Ginas education impressive. I ended up hiring them after talking to a couple of other companies.

Being a COVID bride brought a ton of stress and they transferred my date with no problems. Macey brought Gina and Kelsey on my wedding day. The whole team did a beautiful job.   Canadian COVID Bride

  It's been almost 4 months since my wedding and this review is long overdue. The truth is I can't say enough about how much I appreciated working with the NYAB team, the support and service they provided was amazing, especially being a "COVID Bride" from Canada. I was devastated when I had to cancel my Nova Scotia home wedding last minute when my fiancé was denied at the border. After a quick turn-around we made the decision to get married in PA . With only a few short weeks to plan, I was still determined not to compromise on hair and makeup after having to give up so much, I still wanted to feel like a bride. And I did. NYAB did not disappoint! After their quick response time they made scheduling the appointment so easy and I knew from the interactions that they cared about my situation and would be comfortable to work with. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup! I felt glamorous but natural. I still felt like a bride, but also still myself. I had an outdoor wedding and my hair stayed together. I cried through some of the speeches and my make-up stayed in tacked. My bridesmaids and mom all felt and looked so beautiful! NYAB was a key part in making my last minute US wedding a wonderful, beautiful memory!

  I thoroughly enjoyed working with Macey and Jenna on my wedding day.   Great hair and makeup

  I got married March 2. Macey and Jenna were excellent. I booked them fairly late but was still able to schedule a trial for hair and makeup. They were very responsive and flexible with scheduling. We had three people get hair and two get makeup and they finished everything well before we were scheduled to leave. I loved my hair and my high school students told me the makeup looked great. My mom was hesitant about getting makeup done and Macey listened and gave her a look she felt comfortable with. I highly recommend this vendor.

  I highly recommend Macey for your hair and makeup. She was so professional but also very sweet. She listened to what I wanted and created it. I was going for a natural and flowy bohemian style and it is exactly what I got. She went the extra mile and curled my sister in law's hair unscheduled. I was extremely happy with my results!

  Macey and Jenna from NotYourAverageBella were wonderful! I contacted Macey because I was initially looking for someone to do my hair, but when I went for the trial, I decided to see what they could do with my makeup as well, and was blown away! On the actual day of the wedding, they traveled to my hotel room two hours early and I was all set to go to the ceremony on time. I felt so gorgeous -- and, best part, the hair and makeup stayed all night long!

  Macey and Jenna from NotYourAverageBella were wonderful! On my wedding day I was very stressed (like most brides). Macey had a calming personality and helped me feel comfortable. Macey and Gina arrived early with unbelievable kits. Macey had top of the line makeup brands with plenty to choose from. Macey was very good with picking the perfect colors and shades with my bridesmaids.   I had an amazing experience with Notyouraveragebella. I spoke with Macey back and forth a lot. She was very fast and would give detailed responses. She gave my bridesmaids and I a lot of instructions for the wedding day. Gina and Lauren did the hair while Macey did our makeup. She even helped when they were running behind with the hair. The Notyouraveragebella team was very professional, respectful, understanding, and talented. I wouldn't want anyone else to do my bridal party. I shopped around and thought that they had unique work and great prices. Thanks again ladies!

  I had the pleasure of having Macey do my hair and my makeup. She was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and creative. She did my mother, two bridesmaids, and I. We all LOVED our makeup and I loved my hair also. I am so grateful I found such a talented young lady, to make me beautiful on my biggest day. Macey rocks!   I’ve been going to Macey for several years now, I have very curly confusing hair. She uses special techniques that’s she’s learned via experience and the many classes she takes to stay up-to-date. I wouldn’t have anyone else touch my hair and I get compliments on it everywhere I go, even after the color has somewhat grown out. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

  Beautiful Results for Wedding Hair/Makeup

  Not Your Average Bella provided hair and makeup services for myself and 7 other ladies for my wedding on April 24, 2021. They did a wonderful job making everyone feel like the best versions of themselves while still keeping a natural look. Even the ladies who were somewhat hesitant to get their makeup done at first were very happy with the results! They came to us at our hotel the morning of and had us all ready on time and looking beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for hair and makeup services.

  Wedding hair and makeup

  Not Your Average Bella did an amazing job on my wedding day! I scheduled them 3 months prior to my wedding and they were able to be flexible with timing the morning of. Jenna made my hair look beautiful. I have very thick hair which does not hold curl well... or so I thought. Jenna confidently curled my long hair and it stayed in the whole day. Originally I was not going to have my make up done because I don’t wear much makeup up and did not want to look different on my wedding day. However after talking to Macey she reassured me she could give me a natural look that would be perfect for photographs all day long. I was so impressed with the airbrush and how she did my eye makeup! Such a good decision. I felt beautiful on my day. Inviting Jenna and Macey into my home was such a calm and relaxing way to start my wedding morning. They fit right in and it was very comfortable. They are great!

  Great Experience for My Wedding

  I worked with Macey for doing my and 3 bridesmaid's makeup for my wedding and I would highly recommend NYAB's services! I'm always worried about having makeup look too heavy, or not having a good color match, but she nailed the trial for me and we all looked glowing on the day. Most of us also didn't have a specific "look" in mind so Macey used her expertise and also pointed out the colors and styles that are most popular. The makeup looked natural and enhanced each of us rather than changed the way we look. It also lasted the whole day & night. Macey was a pleasure to work with, very kind and accommodating. I had some last minute changes beyond the original contract and she was super flexible both right before the wedding and on the day. I'm very glad I hired NYAB!
