OVA rocks!

Orchard Valley Acres was the DREAM place to have our wedding. Felicia/Ariel and their team went above and beyond to make sure everything was amazing for our day. They hosted a great food tasting for our parents since we live out of state and were great communicators over email since we were planning remotely from Oregon. The set up the weekend of was a breeze and the venue was stunning, you can tell how much they value and care for their farm. Not to mention the food and pies were fantastic. Everyone raved about them. Their space is very unique and your guests will remember how awesome the setting is. Couldn't recommend them more! And they really care about the environment and impact, so if you are an eco-conscious couple they will support you fully with requests you may have (no plastic, low waste, no straws etc). thanks again OVA!

What a wonderful venue for a wedding. The family farm was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Beautiful venue also. They are very environmentally focused which matched our family. I hope I get the chance to attend another wedding there soon😍🥰🎊

Orchard Valley Acres exceeded all of my dreams and hopes for what my wedding day would be. I had numerous guests not only stand in awe of how rustic this barn actually is, but how beyond great the food was. One of the largest reasons why my husband I chose OVA is because of Felicia's cooking. All of her cooking is made from fresh produce, and is prepared beyond what you typically expect for an average wedding you may attend. Give her any idea and she would be more than willing to do it for you. I had a popcorn barn, and wood fired pizzas (served right off the grill!).

All of the workers on this day were nothing but polite during rehearsal and the day of. During the process also were speedy to reply to everyone one of my questions. Very organized and very well put together.

If I would choose to have another event, my husband and I already decided it will be at OVA. Felicia and her crew are very hard working, and will do WHATEVER you wish to see for your very special day/event. I have attended other events and they never fail to let you down. Thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts. You made our day the best one of our life.

We can't thank everyone at Orchard Valley Acres enough for the most amazing night of our lives there is no bad thing to be said about Felicia and Orchard valley acres our day went so smoothly with out a hiccup it was a pleasure to work with felicia she also offers catering which was a amazing fresh farm to table menu that all of my guest raved about! Everyone was so pleasant to work with and I recomend everyone to go experience the beautiful rustic dream that is Orchard Valley Acres.

This was an amazing place to hold our event. Felicia and her husband were very accommodating and the grounds were beautiful. The "taco/nacho" truck was a HUGE hit and the barn was lit up beautifully at night. HIGHLY recommend Orchard Valley Acres for any event.

I grew up on a farm and couldn't think of a better venue. Several of the other well-known barn venues not only had a hefty price tag they had huge restrictions for timing, payment, and overall location.
I stumbled upon Orchard Valley Acres and am so glad I did!
Upon meting Felicia, the owner, I could tell she had a plan, vision, and a dream. When I first toured the venue the barn cleaner was still installed, paint still covered the gorgeous stone in the lower barn, the outdoor bar was in process, among a list of other things she had planned for updates and upgrades. I was slightly nervous that she couldn't pull it off and get everything completed but quickly realized that I found the venue and the 'up-north' type hospitality I had hoped for. When I brought up my experiences on the farm, we became fast friends.
Felicia was beyond amazing to work with! She answered every question, most of them about a half a dozen times, proposed many ideas, and truly worked with us every step of the way and then some. The poor lady had to deal with the small army that made up our bridal party for decorating and clean up. Felicia and her husband Trevor were getting questions from every direction but never let their stress show. Did I mention she's a master chef? Yes, let me tell you, even the toughest food critic applauded!!!
She offered day of planning services and other additions to the menu but never pressured me into selecting more than we budgeted for. She was beyond flexible with terms and the special requests we had - bringing in outside deserts, several pre and post visits with decorations, and allowing us to bring my husband's Allis Chalmers tractor!
You would be hard pressed to find a better venue and staff to work with...Felicia and crew blew us away, my husband and I are forever grateful for the experience and can't recommend her enough, she absolutely made our wedding day a dream come true!

Magical September Wedding

We had our wedding on 9/7/2019 and were completely blown away by Orchard Valley Acres. Let me start by saying that when we booked the venue and started to see poor reviews, I was nervous. HOWEVER, after seeing how Felicia and her team perfectly executed our day, I can’t even imagine where those negative reviews came from.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the venue and it was catered by Felicia/OVA. The tables were decorated beautifully and the food was incredible. We had vegan and gluten free members in our wedding party and Felicia went above and beyond to accommodate them. Their team was efficient, friendly, and made sure our night was everything we hoped. Everyone raved about the food long after we left and nobody could wait to eat the wedding food!

On to the wedding date...it was better than anything we could have imagined!!!!! Orchard Valley Acres nailed it down to the very last detail! The venue looked incredible. Flowers were everywhere, the grass was green, the ceremony set up was flawless. Then THE FOOD. 2 days later and I still have guests telling me it was the best food they’ve ever had-wedding or not. Felicia went above our expectations for the appetizer spread during cocktail hour. A huge variety of different bites to eat and our guests loved it. For dinner, We had the organic hog, bourbon glazed turkey, spinach & mushroom pasta, whipped Yukon golds, and root beer baked beans. Everyone said it was the best mashed potatoes they’ve ever had.

Felicia gave a wonderful introduction speech during dinner and congratulated us on our big day. Her daughter Ariel checked in with me often to see how things were going. Communication during the wedding was well done. Our night ended with huge hugs from Felicia and her husband!

I know everyone has their own opinions and expectations of a wedding venue... I encourage you to see Orchard Valley Acres for yourself! The price, the location, the passion of the owners/staff, and the tasty food made it an easy decision for us and we are so happy with our choice!

We had such a perfect wedding at orchard valley acres. Their recommended vendor list was very helpful, as I booked “luxury” bathrooms that my guests LOVED. The barn itself was gorgeous, and the food catered by Felicia was the best wedding food we have ever had. Our guests raves about the food and late night food (wood fire pizza and cheese curds.
Our band was not responsive, and the team at orchard valley acres was very flexible with helping me with final decisions. As soon as our band showed up, everything came together and it was perfect. Thank you for making our wedding so great!

Felicia was incredible with filling our every need and being flexible towards our vision of our wedding day. She was so wiling to work with us and come up with unique, original food items that made our day special. We did brunch for dinner and everything was excellent and I'm positive our dinner made an impression on all of our guests that they will remember for a lifetime. She was also very accommodating with any decorations or items around the venue we wanted to move or use elsewhere. Highly recommend!

Where do I start?

I would not trust this place with your special day. A few days after we toured and discussed what we were looking for money-wise, we wrote a check for the deposit and went to meet with Felicia and discuss and sign the contract. It was cold and rainy that night, Felicia suggested we can just give her our check and she will email the drafted contract and we can go from there. We are very trusting people and out of good faith, we trusted she would take care of us. She emailed the contract to us, it was not what we had discussed when we walked through the venue. We went back and forth on different options with the menu to try and make it more in our budget. She would adjust the fees for the food, but then increase the percentage of the gratuity, so the total expense would come out the same as before. After a few emails back and forth, I explained that I don't have a good feeling about the situation and was not interested in having my wedding at her venue. I asked for the deposit back, since we did not sign any contract, we did not hear back from her. I would not trust this woman and her unethical business. She was initially prompt and nice, but after she had our money, she took a long time to respond and seemed to have an attitude. I am glad that this nightmare happened to my husband and I so early in our planning process. Everything happens for a reason- because of this crappy experience with Felicia and Orchard Valley Acres, we found an amazing barn venue 15 minutes away from Orchard Valley Acres , it was more cost-efficient, more beautiful, more inclusive, less limitations on vendors and the owner really put her heart into our day.
