    Best wedding experience!

    My wedding was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. The wedding planner was with me every step of the way and gave me some much support and information. The vendors that she recommended were amazing and so professional. The day of the even ran so smoothly because of the hotels amazing employees. Bryan Flood, Floyd, Kurt Douglass in banquets , just to name a few, were great. Debbie at the desk helped all of my guests during their stay at the property as well. I 100% would recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.

    Working with the Marriott -- Lauren and Liz in particular -- was not only easy but enjoyable. They made my wedding planning experience so much easier. I first met with Liz, she was able to answer all my questions and show me pictures, as well as the venue itself, so that I could start to visualize my own day. From the point of sale Lauren took over -- the transition was seamless, she already knew all of the details. Lauren was there at my beck and call - often answering my e-mails with in the hour. She was also there on the day of, the very first face I saw when we pulled up, which couldn't have been more comforting. Lauren made sure I was fully covered, asking questions about every detail so that nothing was missed. We had a special server who was in charge of just us and our parents. If it weren't for him, Luigi, I would not have eaten. When each course was dropped he found me and sat me down to eat. This is KEY. As a crazed bride I completely forgot to assign the task of cleaning up. The next day all of my centerpieces and other details were boxed neatly and waiting for me to take home. Not a thing was missed. When people asked how my wedding went I respond "perfect" with 100% honesty. I will recommend this hotel, and this staff, to anyone that will listen.

    All i can say about the Marriott is WOW. Its a 5 star venue with the service to match. The servers and bartenders were awesome. Of course your wedding is only as good as your wedding planner and Lauren is one of the best in the business. She got us a great flower vendor and on our wedding day we didnt lift a finger it was all taken care of. If your looking for a venue close to philly this is it.

    I worked with Dana Dommermuth as my wedding planner and she was great! Helped remind me of things I had overlooked and just was really on top of things. I am a control freak so it was hard to just hand things over and hope they turned out well for me but she exceeded my expectations in all areas! Highly recommend!

    AMAZING! We had an amazing wedding and could not have picked a better location! Food, staff & venue were all top notch!

    We had our wedding reception at the Philadelphia Marriott West. They were so wonderful to work with from the day we booked the venue until the day after our wedding! Our coordinator was Jaime and she was so easy to work with and she took care of every detail. We were planning our wedding from California and she was so responsive and helpful with all of our emails throughout the entire planning process. We did not have to worry about a single detail on the day of the wedding. The Marriott took care of everything and we had the most wonderful time. Great service, great food, great everything.

    If you plan to have your wedding at this even make sure you ask for Lauren Della Monica as your event coordinator. She makes your day perfect and easy for you. The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing!!!!

    The marriott was so easy to work with. They met all of our expectations and more. They were very accomodating to what we wanted and really worked with us to make the evening perfect. We had most of our guests coming in from out of town which really made everything convenient. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and even making sure that me and my husband actually ate our dinner and were always provided with whatever we may have needed.

    We had our guests stay at The Philadelphia Marriott West in Conshohocken. Everything about this experience was pleasant for us. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating for us and for our guests. We planned to rent a room in the bar for an after-party and brunch the next morning, and we were coordinating with Jamie, who was wonderful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and affordable, and the food was great. The bar is a little pricey, but all in all, a great experience.

    The Marriott Staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful, accommodating, and even allowed me to store my flowers the night before in the restaurant's walk in! They gave gift bags to all my over night guests, the breakfast buffet was delicious, the suite was huge, the facility was beautiful... can't say enough good things about them!

    The Marriott was fabulous, we have so many good things to say about them because of their high level of service and quality! They provide a certified wedding planner to you so that you can work with them to plan the wedding accordingly. They also go over everything to ensure that all other vendors are aware of the details of the day. The ceremony went smoothly and the reception was top-notch! The day was perfect and couldn't ask for more. I'm happy but sad at the same time, people raved about how much fun it was.

    This was the most FUN reception venue I have ever experienced. The hotel had shuttle service to other area hotels, so friends who stayed at other hotels had transportation. The cocktails were held in a great spacious outer room and the main ballroom is enormous and beautiful. I felt like a queen. The food was delicious and the staff bent over backwards for us. Afterwards we were swept upstairs and stayed in the most luxurious suite. What a great experience!

    PMW did a wonderful job with our wedding. They were extremely attentive, very accommodating and overall a pleasure to work with. They suggested many of our vendors to us, all of which, we really were thrilled with. The venue was comfortable, clean and so convenient for all of our guests as most people stayed overnight with us and we enjoyed Shula's after the party was over. Both the planning staff as well as our event staff was wonderful and made it such a wonderful evening!

    These guys were awesome. It helped that my family had had events there before, but the treatment we got was excellent. The food there is surprisingly good, they were flexible about the decor and venue, they were able to provide a lot of the table decor, and to top it all off, they gave us enough Marriott rewards points to pay for half the honeymoon in Scotland (including airfare)

    STAY AWAY.... We were booked during a "transition period" and were moved around from event planner to event planner. Each promised different things. Thank goodness I took notes at each meeting. Even the day of the wedding was a $h!t show. Nobody knew what they were doing. They couldn't even follow a timeline properly. I could go on and on about everything that went wrong... I do have to say that the food was AMAZING (but that was the only positive of the whole experience).

    We used the Philadelphia Marriott West as our hotel for our guests. It was undoubtedly the worst hotel stay my husband and I ever had. The front desk staff kept giving us incorrect information and they kept de-activating our key card. They lost hotel reservations of guests in our block and told guests (including ourselves) who called to make reservations that our block was no longer open for reservations, when the date on our contract was not yet lapsed. I was calling our wedding guests the week before the wedding, asking them for confirmation numbers because of lost reservations. I also found a piece of glass in our bed. These are just a few of our problems that we had, and I will be writing a letter to corporate.

    Wedding Blocks Beware

    We used this hotel for our wedding block at the recommendation of our venue. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience here. Everything was fine while we were working with Lisa to get a contract in place. They advised we could start with 20 rooms at no financial obligation and they assured us we could add more as needed. We decided to go that route.

    Unfortunately, once the contract was signed, we were handed off to Tiffany. She was extremely curt over email and did not seem to have our best interest in mind. We were not notified that the hotel was quickly booking up and our room block filled up and we were left with no rooms to add. It would have been appreciated when the hotel was starting to fill up or they realized how many wedding blocks they had that weekend to ask us if we wanted to consider adding more rooms. We were left having to explain to guests they needed to find somewhere else to stay and find a way to the venue on their own too, since we couldn't have our shuttles running all around town.

    In addition, I requested an upgraded suite for the day of as I had 10 people getting ready the morning of the wedding. They asked for my reservation confirmation number and assured me 90 days out that they would book me into a suite. When I followed up 90 days out, they told me all the suites were gone and I was basically out of luck?? After explaining that I had 10 people that wouldn't fit in the room, they offered a meeting room, which I said would work fine. Then 2 weeks out from the wedding I emailed to confirm and they informed me I would have to pay $300 for the conference room on top of what I already paid for the room + order food through the hotel (no outside food?? I have never heard of that being the case in a hotel). Utterly ridiculous so I was then left scrambling last minute to find somewhere else to get ready because that additional cost wasn't in my budget and I had to re-coordinate all my vendors for the morning of. Literally no sympathy from them either.

    In addition, the breakfast was $26/day which is absolutely insane and some of my guests told me it was disgusting. I also heard from a few of my guests that their rooms were not nice and in some instances dirty. The only positive was that the front desk staff was polite and the bar space worked well for an after-party.

    I would not recommend that you use this hotel for a wedding block at all.

    I will never work with this venue again!!! As soon as we signed the contract with them, it went down hill fast. We were treated with NO respect and they did NOT honor their word. Lauren "the wedding planner" was not professional to say the least. They made me feel I was more of an inconvenience than a valued customer. We spent a lot of money there and they certainly did not seem to appreciate our business.
    As bad as we were treated, to top it off my uncle was assaulted in the hotel by a non hotel guest the night of our wedding. The Marriott NEVER even acknowledged the situation. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! I was extremely embarrassed of the situation and I am disgusted to even be associated with the Marriott!!!
