Natalie, DJ Joe, and Micah are the best Philly has to offer in terms of wedding production. Each of them are masters of their craft in paying attention to detail, execution, and delivering on everything you ask for and extra! They truly elevated our epic wedding and we couldn't have been more thrilled and grateful for their services. Seriously, hire them. They have the best rates and packages out there -- and they are seriously worth every dollar!Philly Star Events's reply:

DJ Joe was absolutely fantastic! He mastered the tone of each part of the wedding throughout the evening. He and Natalie were great to work with. Their online client portal brought up questions we didn't even think to ask, and as such ensured we had every part of the evening covered. Natalie is so kind and efficient, Joe was the perfect leader and kept the party going! The price was also incredibly reasonable. I cannot recommend Philly Star Events enough!Philly Star Events's reply:

From the moment I spoke with Natalie on the phone for our consultation I knew their team was exactly what we were looking for. DJ Micah was the perfect DJ for us and he did an absolutely phenomenal job. The up-lighting was done by Natalie herself and was gorgeous! Everyone kept talking about how beautiful and cool our custom light monogram was! DJ Micah literally played every song I had on our playlist and then some. My dad performed Elvis and wanted the song list to be a surprise so he worked with Natalie and DJ Micah personally; he was so impressed with the customer service. Honestly, throughout the planning process and the night of our wedding, a beat was never missed. We are so grateful to the Philly Star team and will definitely be recommending to everyone we know!

DJ Joe was absolutely INCREDIBLE at our wedding. The music was exactly what we wanted, and all of our guests were blown away with how much fun he was. The entire process with Philly Star Events was so streamlined and they made the planning so simple. We can’t say enough good things about them. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Joe and Joshy (percussionist). From the start of wedding planning, I knew that music was one of the most important elements. I listened to samples from a lot of different DJs but did not feel like any of them had the party feel I was going for. When I listened to DJ Joe, I knew immediately that he was the DJ for my wedding. I've been to a lot of weddings where the DJ just plays one song after another. Not DJ Joe- he mixes songs and makes sure to play songs that correspond to how the dance floor is reacting. I cannot say enough good things. I watch my video back and find myself dancing again. If you want a DJ who will make sure the dance floor is packed all night, hire DJ Joe!
The entire process with Philly Star Events was so easy. Natalie is so incredibly accommodating and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Philly Star Events is the very best!Philly Star Events's reply:

Could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish Philly Star Events was great. Natalie was super helpful and responsive. DJ Joe got exactly what we wanted and kept people on the dancefloor the entire night! Everyone had so much fun!Philly Star Events's reply:

Morgan Sent on 10/20/2017We used the Philly Star team for our 155 guest wedding in October in Philadelphia. Our wedding was in a unique venue (the Penn Museum) and Natalie and Joe KILLED IT. Omg our friends won’t stop talking about how fun the party was. We initially just booked them for music - they did the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all in 4 different rooms in the museum. We feel so lucky to have had such incredibly talented people making our wedding perfect. They very much earned their fee and are an excellent value. They made us feel like celebrities. A few months after we booked them for music we decided to book Natalie for lighting design. She nailed it. Neither myself nor my husband are creative types so we gave Natalie full artistic discretion and she created such a tasteful and dope set up for our wedding. Our families and friends were in awe. I talked on the phone with Natalie countless times in the year leading up to the wedding and she was always an absolutely joy. Joe did an INSANE job DJing. We had some non mainstream requests and he integrated them perfectly (Phish into Toto’s Africa?!? Hell yeah). People were dancing all night. He does so much more than just play a playlist. He taps into the energy of the room and helps guide it to even greater places. Bonuses were also the online event planning system and the ability for them to take guest requests! We put a link for this on our wedding website and people loved it. If you want a wedding experience that your friends will talk about for years to come, then Philly Star is the way to go!

Sarah Sent on 01/05/2018I'll be perfectly honest, the DJ had the hardest time of any vendor we used because I'm so particular/fussy about music. I honestly had picked out literally 80-90% of the songs. and even with the very little artistic freedom that I granted (this was my one bridezilla moment) he was awesome. The transitions and how he changed tracks was awesome. I'll be honest I wasn't expecting anything spectacular but it was like being in a club in NYC. They also dealt with a difficult set-up since there were a total of 4 rooms.

As we approach our 6 month anniversary in December, we reminisce on what was literally the best day of our lives and how it wouldn't be possible without some really important people--DJ Joe and Natalie from Philly Star DJ's. These two amazing and genuine individuals made our wedding a dream come true and til this day I think about how grateful we are to them for making our wedding dreams come true. Best decision we've ever made, seriously. 6 months later we are still receiving compliments about how awesome the music and lighting was at our wedding, DJ Joe and Natalie left a lasting impression on not just Brooke and I but our guests as well. They were professional, honest, flexible, authentic and really took the time to get to know Brooke and I, they truly cared about what we wanted and wanted to make sure we were happy. Guys, the music was AWESOME! DJ Joe did an incredible job! Guests were dancing their butts off and Brooke and I had a blast dancing as well! There was not one dull moment and the transitions were so natural. It was almost as if DJ Joe was psychic! He read the crowd, he knew exactly what to play at exactly the right time, it was incredible! It's a no brainer people, take it from us, choosing DJ Joe and Natalie from Philly Star DJ's will be the best decision you've ever made!!! -
User894944 Sent on 08/10/2012Can;t say enough about Joe and Natalie. Natalie is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. This is our third time working with them and every time was perfect. Joe blended my request for Mexican and Ukrainian music so well that all my guests enjoyed it. Everyone was dancing and happy. Joe made a custom list of music that I loved and it fit every generation. They did a great job on lighting. Couldn't be happier.
