  Fairytale vibes (:

  I chose Stan after listening to some of his samples & having him play for us in our venue, which he kindly agreed to do. For our processional, recessional, and cocktail hour we wanted to go for a very understated/whimsical vibe. His acoustic guitar was the perfect sound inside Dover Hall on our special day.

  A class act

  Stan is a wonderful guy and a great guitarist. Our interactions with him prior to the wedding were efficient and he absolutely delivered on the day. Although he has an expansive repertoire, he adapted a song to the acoustic guitar per our request. It was so lovely that when we were halfway back down the aisle I told my wife I wanted to stick around and listen rather than carry on walking.

  Incredibly talented and wonderful to work with

  Stan is wonderful! He worked with us on music selection for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and even took on a song that wasn’t currently in his catalog for our processional. He’s got a vast selection of songs in various styles to choose from and he’s a wonderful musician. I highly recommend him for your special day!

  Easiest vendor decision we made

  We couldn't be happier with Stan and the role he played in our wedding. From the start he was always so responsive and easy to communicate with. There are so many decisions and tasks you have to juggle when planning a wedding but Stan made booking the music a breeze - it was one of the least stressful and easiest items to coordinate because of him. A true professional, he required no direction on the day of the wedding - he just seemed to know exactly what was going to happen and was ready to play his role. The cocktail hour setup ended up spreading our guests into different rooms at times and our placement for where Stan would play wasn't perfect. Without missing a beat (no pun intended) he grabbed his guitar and was walking from room to room, being sure all our guests were serenaded with music while they mingled - it was perfect. His ability to adapt and improvise depending on what was happening around him was such a relief. It took the pressure off our shoulders and just let us enjoy the wedding with everyone else. Finally, he's incredibly talented. All of the professionalism and experience would be irrelevant if he wasn't a great musician. However Stan's music was a hit and created the perfect ambience. We received multiple comments from guests throughout the night about how wonderful the music was. We're so happy we found Stan and would highly recommend him to anyone who asked.

  A true gem!

  My husband and I hired Stan to play during our small wedding dinner, and he was absolutely fantastic. Our twelve guests haven’t stopped raving about what a great addition Stan was to the evening, and we couldn’t agree more. Communicating with Stan leading up to the wedding was simple and easy. During the dinner he was able to seamlessly read the room and adjust his song choices and playing accordingly. He cheerfully interacted with our guests when they requested certain songs and added a great dose of fun and elegance into our day. We’re forever convinced that the key to a great dinner party, no matter how big or small, is live music, and we would ask Stan to play for us again and again!

  Perfect Addition to our Backyard Wedding!

  Stan was just perfect for our low key backyard wedding! We planned and replanned our weddding due to covid and picked our final date just a month before the final date. Stan was super easy to work with in a short time period. He learned 3 new songs for us in addition to his already extensive song list, had a great high quality and relaxing / fun tempo, and was a joy to listen to. Highly recommend!

  Beautiful music and a very easy guy to work with!

  Stan was awesome to work with and provided just the right mood that we wanted at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was very responsive and showed up early on the wedding day. I definitely recommend him as he is very professional and understands that each wedding/event he plays at is very personal!

  Amazing touch to our intimate wedding!

  Stan was the perfect touch to our intimate 30 person wedding at a restaurant. He played acoustic guitar for our cocktail hour and throughout the entire dinner. He was so flexible with us when some of our timing was still a bit up in the air the week before due to venue changes. Would highly recommend Stan!

  My wife and I were extremely pleased to have Stan play at our wedding. He played classical acoustic songs for our ceremony, a great variety of acoustic classic rock and country songs during our cocktail hour, and began singing at the perfect time in our reception as guests started dancing. He was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process, and he was willing to accommodate all of our last-minute requests. All of our guests raved about the music. We highly recommend Stan!

  Stan was awesome. He was very responsive to our emails. He even learned a few songs for us that weren't in his playlist, and adjusted his performance based on the vibe of the reception. If you're looking for some some great acoustic music for your event, go with Stan.

  Stan put the perfect touch on my fall wedding. He made the whole vibe exactly how I wanted it. Very professional and perfect guitar playing. He responds very fast and has a long list of what he can play. Would recommend!

I did a quick google search and found Stan on weddingwire and his style & description fit exactly what we were looking for. From the first day I reached out to Stan he was professional, responsive, and was able to accommodate our special date without hesitation. Furthermore, my wife and I had been planning our wedding for over a year and we had our hearts set on my wife walking down the aisle to "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. All I can say is WOW!! Stan pulled this off with such precision and his music was absolutely perfect for the processional, recessional, and cocktail hour. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason and Stan was meant to play on our special day. Thank you Stan!!!

  Stan just really set the tone for our entire wedding. He's such an amazing musician, it was absolutely magical to walk down the aisle with my father with Stan's beautiful guitar accompanying us. The transition between each room, from ceremony to the cocktail, felt so effortless with Stan.
  With the craziness of the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry a thing with Stan, he was there way earlier to set himself up and was ready to go way in advance. Our ceremony started later than planned and the cocktail hour went long, but he was so gracious and nice to play through it all!!
  Our speaker we were going to use for the reception broke 3 days before the wedding, and Stan was there to save the day for us with his speaker!
  
  We absolute recommend hiring Stan Hamrick for any events big and small, he's just such a joy to be around, so easy to work with, the level of professionalism is excellent (as a bride planning a wedding from a far, he was very quick and responsive which helped ease the process).   Everything was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted it. He was very easy to work with, very professional, & knew exactly what he was doing. I would definitely recommend him and hire him again.

  Stan is the man! Easiest way to put it. I felt Stan was genuinely happy to be a part of our day. He was very accommodating, very friendly and one heck of a guitar player! Highly recommend Stan.

  Stan did a wonderful job playing at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was so great to work with prior to the wedding. He provided a detailed list of music he played (very diverse) and even offered to learn songs. Many guests raved about him to me at the wedding. Would recommend booking Stan for your event!
