Jonar Sent on 09/13/2018Let’s dive right into this and say that Potomac Shores Golf Club is absolutely AMAZING! My wife and I’s expectations were totally blown out of the water with the degree of professionalism and attention to detail that Todd, Brittney, Emily, Andrea and Eric provided us. Every meeting we had with them was exceptional and the process never had the feeling of just another business venture. Instead, it felt as if a group of great friends wanted to make my wife and I’s dream a reality. Todd, Brittney and Emily provided us FIRST CLASS customer service and it showed throughout the planning process to the very end of our send off. As soon as both my wife and I arrived on our big day, we felt like we owned the place as they met each of our needs. It was amazing how they managed to not just set up the ceremony, but also decorate the reception hall, work with the DJ’s to ensure that music was provided inside and out, making sure both bridal parties were totally catered to while waiting for the ceremony to begin, while also helping usher in our guests and usher in my bride. They were everywhere and making sure everything was taken care of. I literally couldn’t stop thanking them because I knew how special this day was for my wife. Our guests were so amazed at not only the beauty of the golf club but also the responsiveness and reception of all its staff. The food provided by Chef Eric, was absolutely STELLAR! Even after our tasting, we knew our reception dinner was going to be five-star quality. So many of our family members and friends could not stop complementing us about the food. They mentioned this surpassed the “typical” entrees provided during most other weddings and that they could not believe how amazing the taste was and the varieties that were provided. If you want to feel like a king and a queen, and you want first class service and food, you need to definitely give them a call! -

Brenda Sent on 05/11/2017I don't even know where to begin to describe how wonderful everything was for our wedding at Potomac Shores Golf Club. We did both our ceremony and reception there. I should probably start with Kelsie. She is an amazing person and there is no way we could have had our perfect wedding without her. From the time we started the planning, she was very responsive to emails. She always had answers or suggestions for us. She took care of everything. Even with everything going on on the wedding day, she was always available, sometimes even before I knew I needed her! We received so many compliments on the food, service and beauty of the place. The food was excellent. We had a buffet meal with fried chicken, ribs, macaroni and cheese, green beans, etc. Everything was wonderful. The appetizers during cocktail hour were fantastic. Kelsie even made sure we got some while visiting with all of our guests. We definitely would like to go back for dinner. One of the best services that they provided was the setting up/breaking down of everything. As a bride, I can't tell you how nice it was to have everything set up just as I envisioned and not worry about running around the day of the wedding setting up cake displays, centerpieces, seating charts, etc.. If I'm to be totally honest, I think they even did a better job than I envisioned! I'm sure I'm overlooking something, so I'll just say that you won't be disappointed if you book your wedding with Potomac Shores Golf Club. -
User2877793 Sent on 11/23/2016Our group of retired Marines has been getting together for a dinner on the Marine Corps birthday for the last 14 years. Normally, we would find a Fredericksburg area restaurant for our event. However, in 2015 we tried something different by having a catered event in the Tidewater Grill at Potomac Shores. We selected three different entrees for the guests to choose from and every meal was fantastic, as was the facility and service. Despite the fact that most of the attendees had to travel from the Stafford/ Fredericksburg area, everyone insisted that we return in 2016. Once again, Kelsie took great care of us and everything was wonderful. We are already booked there for 2017! -

Marie Sent on 10/27/2016I can just say WOW AMAZING.... every tiny detail was dotted and crossed for our wedding and Kelsie had our backs and never missed a beat in helping set up for the most beautiful event ever. As the bride i was so ecstatic with how well put together everything was. Nothing went wrong with the reception at Potomac Shores which for most brides is unheard of. I never wondered or worried about a thing and knew Kelsie had my back every second. Not only was the service and event wonderful the food was amazing as well. Dont look any further brides. Potomac Shores is where you want to be.
