    We had an amazing wedding there. The staff went beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious

    We had to move our wedding up VERY last minute, the staff at the Marriott made our tragic situation turn into the most beautiful day I could have ever imagined.

    From the ceremony room décor, to the private dining room in the restaurant for our reception - everything was spectacular. Not to mention, the bloody mary bar and mimosas were fantastic! Monica in catering, and Jose in banquets were the cherries on top! Kudos to Chef Rigot as well, he put together our donut tower, and it was beautiful! (in addition to preparing all of the wonderful brunch food!) All of our guests are still talking about the delicious meal!

    Almost all of our guests stayed at the hotel as well, and really enjoyed the rooms - and especially the hospitality suite! A must have for your bridal party to get ready in!

    If you are looking to have a downtown wedding, one-stop-shop, the Marriott is a must!

    The venue was really beautiful. It suited our needs perfectly - great location, great place for guests to stay, several ballrooms, able to accommodate large events. Our coordinator, Katherine, was great! She really went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect!

    The Raleigh MArriott City Center was nothing short of fabulous to work with. Sam Firth is the Events director and he is top shelf. Sam took care of every need, even ones we didn't know we had. He was always available, proactive, brought ideas to the table and saw to it that everyone was ready to go and fully understood the needs. I have to also state that the full staff , without fail, was outstanding. Our guests were still talking about the bartenders 6 months later -- they felt these guys were part of the event - not outsiders at all -- they took great care of our guests, were personable and very engaging . We had similar comments for the chefs, and even the front desk. From beginning to end our guests were treated as valuable . Made a huge difference -

    I had to change venues about 65 days before my event and my decor coordinator recommended the Marriott -- I am SO glad she did! Katherine at the Marriott was super fantastic! She moved mountains for me. Her "can do" attitude was amazing. She was so pleasant and responsive. The place was perfect and coordinated with our colors so that was an added benefit. The staff was completely professional and I barely saw them although we appreciated everything they did. Anything we asked for they generally accommodated an at the very least tried to accommodate! They were terrific. The attention to detail and ability to even anticipate my needs was terribly impressive. I was also floored at times but the quick turn around on request and inquiries. I sometimes wondered if I was their only client the way emails and phone calls were answered and dealt with! I cannot praise the service enough! However, the food was good but the presentation was OK. While I admit, I only saw some things, the vegetables in particular seemed a little limp and colorless. However, this is a VERY small thing. Several guest commented on the flavorful taste and ample portions!
