The Renaissance Hotel was the best venue for my husband and I to celebrate our special day in. They were professional, attentive, and costumer service was just beyond amazing. Our guest and vendors had nothing but good things to say about how great the service was during our most special day, and also the hotel itself is just so beautiful and elegant. My husband and I truly had the most beautiful night of our lives we will have memories to last a lifetime.

I just had my wedding here last week and it was absolutely perfect! We're so blessed to have found this venue. The venue is newly renovated and absolutely beautiful. The food was great and the staff were a joy to work with! Speaking of staff...the Senior Sales Manager of Catering, Connie, was such a pleasure to work with! She truly made us feel special throughout the planning process and on the day of. She was attentive to our needs/wants and very responsive to inquiries. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue. You won't be disappointed.

We cannot say enough about the staff at Renaissance Hotel Plantation! Ashley and the amazing events and catering staff had every attention to detail covered to make sure that our event went smoothly. All of our guests were impressed at the smooth flow of our wedding into cocktail hour, and then to reception. The food was amazing. We did not see one plate left with food and heard the next day about how good everything tasted. The wait staff was quick and so attentive. We are extremely happy with our decision to choose to have our reception there. Thank you so much!

I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day. Renaissance was there each and every step of the way. My emails were answered promptly (and trust me, I had a LOT of questions). Any want or need I could have imagined was met and on the day of, everything went amazingly well. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. I can not thank them enough!

To all brides, grooms, and families, please have the Renaissance Plantation hotel take care of your wedding & hotel accommodations. My husband & I had a wonderful experience there despite the horrible circumstance at our previous venue. After finding out 3 months before wedding that our date was double booked, we decided to find another venue that was more personal & felt like we were family. Taylor and the rest of the staff made us feel like a million bucks. The wedding cake with a complimentary suite the night of our wedding and it was beautiful. The aerial view of the water & neighboring areas was awesome. All my guests were delighted with the food. We had salmon & beef tenderloin with coconut rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a delicious salad. The food was so good my husband & I had another plate sent to our room for us to eat later! The ambiance was great as well. The venue had beautiful uplighting & clear chivari chairs which was a huge plus. You won't regret having your wedding at this venue, they offer great pricing, a variety of options, and a beautiful suite! Thanks so much Taylor & staff! I had the wedding of my dreams!

Celebrated our wedding April 15th 2017. Taylor and Nicole were the absolute dream team at this hotel! And the food we served was extremely delicious and very well prepared. Our guests were so pleased.

Taylor, the wedding coordinator was so prompt in her responses . The hotel staff was so kind to me and our guests. My family kept saying how the hotel is beautiful. Amazing price for ALL that they include and amazing service. They took care of everything . So accommodating ! Loved it !!

I’m so glad that we chose the Renaissance Fort-Lauderdale-Plantation Hotel to hold our wedding. The hotel is beautiful, and their staff is phenomenal. The suite that we stayed in for the weekend was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. Their wedding packages have a lot of inclusions which made planning easy and cost-effective. The food was delicious (I actually got to eat because everything was taken care of, and I didn’t have to worry about anything). We even had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us on our wedding night which was a nice surprise.

Laurel was our coordinator, and she is amazing. She made the planning process so easy. She is a sweetheart, and she is also very professional and organized. She was on top of everything during the planning process and the day of. She answered questions quickly and was very accommodating to requests. Laurel was in communication with our other vendors to make sure that they had everything that they needed for our wedding day. She even helped to resolve an issue that we were having with one of our other vendors. She directed the rehearsal expertly, so it went quickly and smoothly, and she made sure that everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. We had a wonderful time, and all of our guests did too!

There are no words to say how thankful I am to Laurel and her team at the Renaissance Plantation. You guys rock, everything turned out great. We were on time and everyone can't stop talking about how great it was. It was a pleasure to work with Laurel, she made everything smooth and when I got a little worked up was there to talk to. Can't wait to do it again in 10 yrs.

After researching numerous places in Broward County for our wedding, we met with Laurel Dumez from the hotel. We immediately felt totally comfortable relying on her to help us with our wedding plans. Thereafter, she promptly answered all our emails, every call, every request we had and made the process a lot less stressful. She consistently gave us the reassurance of the plans and kept us informed and up-to-date as the day came closer. On the day of our wedding, her ability to organize the event and ensure every aspect of the ceremony and reception and the meals truly surpassed all our expectations. Our guests were all impressed by the clean, beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, the quality of the food, and the amazing assistance of the entire staff. All the staff were extremely attentive and devoted to ensure the event was perfectly executed. We strongly recommend this hotel for your wedding or any other event.

The wedding was absolutely amazing! The food - something you would get at a five star restaurant! All of my attendees said that it was the most beautiful & fun wedding that they had ever been to. If I could do it all over again, I would!

Reasons why I picked this venue: great pricing on packaged deals ( free Bridal suite room for the night of, free chiavari chairs, free seat cushions, tables, black/white linens, easels, votive candles, cocktail tables, cake, champange toast, 6 cocktail appetizers, 3 entree choices for guests, 2 children entree choices for guests, free beer & wine with bottle opening at $25 a bottle [we went to Costco for liquor]), super accommodating and communicative staff. We were married on Saturday after the Hurricane Matthew scare and the hotel staff was on board, helping us set up as well as giving us credit back for the 30 guests who cancelled last minute due to flight complications. Our original headcount was 130. Staffing tip included in final price at 24%.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the hotel and everything was perfect! The room was fantastic and so were the food and drinks. Everyone had an amazing time!!

The Renaissance Hotel was an unconventional location for a wedding. The building exterior does it no justice because the inside is very contemporary and modern. My guests were surprised at the modern architecture of the venue and they were able to transform the meeting halls into a magical wonderland. I originally wanted my wedding at the W Fort Lauderdale but the prices were out of my budget. The renaissance exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Intimate and the staff was exceptional. The only downfall was my hotel planner changed about 3 times. But it was for the best because my final Planner Jazz was phenomenal.

The wedding coordinator, Laurel, was extremely helpful and always returned my e-mails and phone calls very promptly.

The Hotel ruined our wedding night. nothing went as planned. Food was different to what we picked, coordinator was not found for most of the reception, no communication among staff, didnt take care of our rental stuff. The planning phase was great but nothing was translated to the day of the wedding. would not recommend.
