Riverboat on the Potomac is an amazing place to have your wedding reception. The owner Penny, is amazing to work with. She will do anything you want. The venue is beautiful - right on the water of the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay.
They are extremely reasonably priced and the wait staff is incredible. I wish I could attach pictures so you could see how wonderful it was.

I love working with The Riverboat on the Potomac. They are extremely accommodating with special requests and also offer suggestions to make sure your event is perfect. I have held both large and small events with them and will continue to use them when appropriate. Pricing is very reasonable.

Overall we had a great experience with the Riverboat on the Potomac. The managers and staff were helpful and responsive and worked hard to make our event date as stress free as possible. The only concern we had was that there didn't seem to be enough food on the buffet (and we paid for more plates than number of guests in attendance.) We would still recommend this venue and appreciate all they did to make our wedding day special.
