  Most amazing photographer

  Hiring Robb was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! He is so amazing and talented and sweet. Robb has the best personality and work ethic and the photos are absolutely gorgeous! I cannot day enough good things about him or talk him up enough! We will never hire another photographer!

  Can't wait to see our photos!

  Robb was a gentleman. We loved working with him. He had great ideas for fun pics. He worked very well with the djs too and made sure to be more than ready before anything important happened. A++++

  Robb Davidson is the best!

  I highly recommend Robb for any photo needs. We used Robb for our wedding photography, and I am so glad we hired him (came as a recommendation from friends). Robb is extremely easy going and was very easy to work with. He is extremely responsive to e-mail or text, and he truly takes a vested interested in whatever the project at hand is.
  
  I was impressed by Robb's speed to send us pictures (both engagement shoot and wedding pictures), and he found a way to take stunning images in areas both in Chicago and the suburbs that we didn't even think possible. We have received numerous compliments from attendees at our wedding for our pictures and how he was laidback in his approach to taking any pictures.
  
  Robb's rates are also quite reasonable, so you really cannot go wrong choosing him as your photographer!

  I highly recommend Robb for any photo needs. We used Robb for our wedding photography, and I am so glad we hired him (came as a recommendation from friends). Robb is extremely easy going and was very easy to work with. He is extremely responsive to e-mail or text, and he truly takes a vested interested in whatever the project at hand is.

  Robb shot our wedding on July 20 2018 and I could not be happier. My now husband is not big on pictures but Robb made our engagement session and wedding day easy and fun. He was incredibly professional and his office was very responsive (responding to emails at 11pm within 5 minutes on several occasions) throughout the entire process. He even set up a desktop with pictures DURING the reception that our friends and family stood in front of for hours. On top of that our pictures were online the very next day. Thank you Robb for everything! I can not recommend you enough. Joshua and I are so grateful you were not only a part of, but made our day.

  Robb was amazing--truly all one could hope for in a photographer.

  I first met Robb when I was a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding in Chicago. I was impressed by his professionalism, upbeat and positive personality, quick speed of taking photos and turnaround, and the overall look and quality of his photos. I actually decided then and there that Robb was going to be my wedding photographer - that was back in 2014. I told my husband about Robb when we were planning our own wedding, but we did go ahead and interview several others just to be sure. In the end, my husband was impressed with Robb even from just a phone conversation - so the decision was made.
  
  Robb came out to Virginia a few days early to scope out the wedding venue and surrounding areas for first look photos. When we met him for the first look at Alexandria City Hall, we were amazed by how fast the photos went! Robb snaps photos extremely quickly and was able to shoot several locations around the town within the hour we had. His creativity is also refreshing and fun - we got several photos inside an ice cream parlor!
  
  When it came to family portraits, Robb was not fazed by the huge and loud families that we have. He kept his cool, even cracked some jokes! The entire family loved him - especially his speed in getting our photos and moving everyone out of the heat. We have had several friends and family personally come tell us how impressed they are with Robb's speed, professionalism, and overall photos.
  
  After the wedding, Robb got our photos to us in record time - ONE month! We had 2 days of events, so this was a great feat. He answered all emails quickly both before and after the wedding. I would highly recommend Robb to anyone - he is not only a great and knowledgeable photographer, but also has the positive and upbeat energy you want around on your wedding day!

  My husband's sister got married a little over a year before us; they had used Robb Davidson as their photographer. Robb had set up a monitor with sneak-peak photos at the wedding to display photos taken throughout the day. I will never forget that when I saw them, I immediately took his business card and knew that when we got married, we would be using Robb. His pictures were stunning from the pre-views, and it was a done deal from there.
  
  Robb was incredibly easy to work with throughout our wedding process and communication up until the big day was informative and detailed. On the day of the wedding, Robb more or less became a wedding coordinator/photographer all in one. He made sure everything was on time, people were where they needed to be, and everything went smoothly. He became our right-hand man. We asked for 2 photographers, and he coordinated with his assistant so all logistics were planned beforehand. Robb even stayed later than our contacted time at no extra charge (although I think he secretly enjoys partying with the guests and enjoying the celebration!).
  
  His efforts were not without difficulty; it was pouring sideways rain ALL DAY LONG on our wedding. Robb's talents were definitely put to the test when all chances of outside photos were destroyed and our pictures had to be taken in the hotel lobby and reception hall. Robb definitely had to get crafty to make it look like we had been to multiple venues for photos - that was a complete success!
  
  Now, for the photos. Robb's photos are unparalleled. He not only takes the classic shots, but he also puts a unique spin and artistry into the rest. We have the most beautiful suite of photos, ranging from colorful and vibrant to unique and artistic to black and white silhouettes. He is patient, creative, and looks for great photo opportunities.
  
  We cannot recommend Robb and team enough -- our photos will be cherished for a lifetime!

  Robb was absolutely amazing to work with throughout our planning process. We purchased the package that came with a simple engagement session and loved how those pictures came out. We knew when we saw those that our wedding photos would be lovely and we weren't disappointed.

Robb is so fun, friendly, accommodating, flexible, professional, organized and generally awesome. His works really speaks for itself (we LOVE our photos so much!), and he was a huge reason our wedding day went so smoothly.   Robb was absolutely amazing. We had terrible weather (snow and 60 mph winds) in the city on our April 2nd wedding day, but Robb knew exactly where to go to make the pictures look beautiful, even without the Chicago skyline in the background. He is fun, talented, and engaging, and after photographing our engagement session and wedding, we feel like he's one of our buddies! At our wedding, he stayed later than he needed to stay and also brought another photographer along. He really goes above and beyond and is just an overall great guy. I'd recommend him to any of my friends getting married.

  SO AWESOME! Robb recently did our engagement photoshoot as well as our wedding day on October 2015. My husband and I could not have been more thrilled with our experience or the results. Robb is not only professional and talented but he is so much fun to work with and has such a great sense of humor. He kept us laughing all day and several times went above and beyond what is in his job description. So many people at my reception were really impressed that he even had some of the previously taken photos of the day already on display! I could not have been more impressed and would recommend him to anyone searching for a great photographer! We can't wait to work with him when we need professional pictures down the road! From the start of our session, he made everything really comfortable and easy going, and was able to give us direction when we needed it.   Robb recently photographed our wedding and he did a phenomenal job. I found Robb via Yelp and instantly fell in love with his work. After our first meeting with Robb, we knew we HAD to have him as our photographer. Robb shot our engagement session and wedding in July and we will treasure the pictures forever. He is an amazing person to work with and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. He treats every client as though they are his favorite and I love that about him! We had wedding guests that were blown away with his work and a few trying to snag him for their upcoming wedding! I would recommend Robb to anyone looking for an artistic, fun, genuine guy!

  ROBB IS AMAZING!!! I knew Robb many years ago and when I found out that he was a photographer, I immediately wanted him to photograph my wedding. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about photography, and so talented. It really helps that he shows true interest in getting to know you as a couple, and makes you laugh so much along the way! He knows exactly what memories to capture, and even stayed at my wedding way longer than his contracted hours just to get a few last shots, which was so appreciated. The pictures came back to us SO FAST and were nothing short of amazing. I have gotten so many compliments about the pictures and people even expressing jealousy that they didn't use him for their wedding!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ROBB and his amazing work! You have to use him!!!

  Robb is amazingly fun and talented. My fiancee and I hired Robb because of his fun personality and beautiful work. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that he shot 2 years before my wedding and knew immediately that Robb would be the perfect photographer for our wedding and he did not disappoint. Robb was incredibly easy to work with and on top of everything before I could even think of it. We haven't gotten our photos back yet, but I don't have a single doubt about how amazing they will be. Robb is flexible and fun which is makes it fun for the whole bridal party and family members. My family was completely in love with Robb and wants to continue to use him for any family portrait sessions that we do in the future. With all of the money that is spent on everything else for a wedding, spending some extra money on an amazing photographer is 100% worth it.

  Robb is amazingly fun and talented. My fiancee and I hired Robb because of his fun personality and beautiful work. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that he shot 2 years before my wedding and knew immediately that Robb would be the perfect photographer for our wedding and he did not disappoint.   I can't say enough good things about Robb! My husband and I had the (awesome) opportunity to meet him when he was the wedding photographer for our best friends 2 years ago and from the moment we had set our date I knew Robb was the photographer for us! Working with Robb during the planning phase was so fun! He gives great suggestions on what services you need to fit your day/budget, helps create a day of timeline and is always quick to respond to emails. Robb has a wonderful energy/personality that makes everyone feel super comfortable even for those who are camera shy. Day of the wedding Robb was amazing! He helped the day go smoothly and captured moments we will treasure for a lifetime. During the reception he set up a slideshow for all of the guests to view a preview from the day and had a sneak peak posted on his blog days later!! We could not me more thrilled with the pictures, Robb truly captured all of the emotions from the day and we love looking back and remembering every moment. I can't wait to work with Robb again and will be recommending him to everyone :)

  Robb (and his terrific assistant) is awesome. My mom found him and I'm so happy she did. Since the photographer is with you all day, it's pretty important they're a good fit. Robb is incredibly talented, and also fun to be around. He got some awesome shots on and UNDER the Kinzie St. bridge- very different from the "usual" Chicago spots- not that we didn't get those too. Another bonus- he made sure the trolly kept on pace, navigated us to different spots to shoot, and ensured we were back to the venue on schedule. He's very personable, but not too much in your space (I've been in weddings where the photographer, because of the nature of their role, has been awkward... it's kind of hard not to be, but Robb is great). We got to see a sneak peak less than a week after the wedding, and he even sent my mom a bunch of family pics so she can use them in Christmas cards. Don't let his use email usage of the word "groovy" fool you- he is a rare talent, captures everything and is great to be around. :) I'd recommend RDP to anyone.

  I went to college with Robb, and have seen his work from other weddings that I was in/at, so we didn't even think twice about who we were going to choose, and I am so thankful that we didn't! Robb actually changed his travel schedule to be with us on our big day, and was a blast to be around the whole day. He's funny and laid back, both excellent qualities on such a big day. And besides that, his work is unbelievable. There are moments that I remember thinking "Why on earth is he taking a picture of that?" (like me putting in an earring), but then the pictures are absolutely stunning. I have literally never seen a better picture of myself or my new hubby. We just got all of our pictures back, and we are completely blown away. There are literally several hundred absolutely beautiful pictures that we just love. We also appreciate that he caught a lot of silly moments that might have otherwise been forgotten. We chose to pay for about everything Robb offers (engagement shoot, second shooter, ect), so it was just over $3,000, but even with our tight budget, I had no qualms about the price, he was worth every penny. We still get to pick out some included prints, which I am excited about, and we get the rights to all of our pictures, which was a big selling point for the husband. Robb not only captured our day in a way I didn't know was possible, but he actually added to the fun of the day. I couldn't have possibly been happier with our decision, and will hire Robb in a heartbeat for anything else we do that is worth photographing. Also worth noting, Robb edits some pictures during dinner and has a slide show of the day so far up around the end of your first dance. It was incredible. Our guests loved the sneak peak, and I cried looking at the amazing shots he had already gotten, even though it had been like an hour since it was actually happened. He's really that good.

  Robb was incredible. He showed up early to take pictures and even had a slideshow of pictures from the day running at the reception. His pictures are amazing I wish he could photograph everything in our lives.

  I was referred to Robb by a professional photographer I used to work with, and I could NOT be happier with him! Young, energetic and a great eye make him a perfect photographer to get every special shot. Everyone that has seen my highlight photos has raved about how amazing he is! NOTE: Robb does what YOU want, so if you want to have alot of posed photos (wasn't a priority for me) bring a shot list or send to him ahead of time so you get those, otherwise he will go with the flow of the day and not try to over direct everything! Also, having a second photographer at Robb's prices was amazing.
