  We hired Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra to provide 5 hours of music for our wedding. Robbie and his band of 10 professional musicians and singers played during our wedding ceremony, We decided to have Jazz play during our cocktail hour, and during dinner, they provided exciting and romantic dance music for the reception. Our ceremony was a 2 piece ensemble violin and piano. We requested music from the 1920's all the way up to todays chart music. I can't believe all of the music genres they know. Every interaction we had with Robbie Scott was professional. The New Deal Orchestra is an incredibly versatile group, and handled all of our song requests with ease. Their singing voices is smoothing like the great Sinatra and exciting like the great Elvis Presley. Robbie Scott is a drummer you'll never forget! Our guests are still raving that this was the best wedding they ever went to, they're all talking about the music. Thank you Robbie Scott and The New Deal orchestra. You made our amazing wedding even more special and memorable.

  I hired Robbie for a surprise engagement for my now, fiancée (she said Yes!) - Robbie and the band arrived very early and I immediately felt comfortable. Not only are they excellent musicians but they are just a great group of guys you can talk to during and after your event about past experiences and stories. We wanted that "Crooner" vibe and they delivered it with perfection playing all the standards. I even got to sing a few songs with them. Thank you again guys!

  Robbie and the band were perfect for my parents' 50th Anniversary party. They learned songs we requested, performed them perfectly, kept the crowd dancing, and were a pleasure to work with. AND they were the most affordable option we found. It was a complete win.

  Our wedding needed the perfect band. We didn't want something too "Standard Wedding Band" or too cheesy or too generic. What we got with Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra was amazing mix of classic dance music with NONE of the cheese. We simply couldn't get our guests off the dance floor!
  Robbie's band is primarily schooled in old Jazz-Swing era tunes, which we loved having at our wedding, but he brought out many other rock and pop tunes from later eras which were equally enjoyable.
  
  They were able to handle many requests - including some that the guests asked for right on the spot, and also perfectly accommodated two guest performances - one from my wife's aunt who sang for us... as well my own turn to serenade my new bride. Both of those performances went over well and added so much to the overall experience.
  
  Robbie is super professional both in terms of his actual performance and his band members, as well as dealing with him before hand to handle finances and special requests.
  
  Everyone had an absolute blast at our wedding party, and The New Deal Orchestra was right at the heart of it!

  Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra is a great choice for a wedding reception! They are excellent musicians and everyone at our reception had a blast dancing. Robbie Scott is good about keeping in touch leading up the wedding and is focused on ensuring that you and your guests have a great time. We hired him along with 7 other pieces to play swing and jazz and we couldn't have asked for a better band.

  Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra are fantastic! We had a 1920's themed wedding and they played music from the era for 4 hours! Guests were enchanted and amazed at the quality and we were wowed by the professionalism. We even had a dance instructor and he played along at her direction for the lesson. Our minister said the band was far and above, the best wedding band he had ever had in the church and all of our guests commented on how phenomenal they were. We recommend Robbie without reservation!

  Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra ROCKED our wedding. Robbie was extremely professional and responsive during the planning process. He put together a fantastic band. Last minute (3 days before the wedding) we asked for some background music for dinner and he put together a great jazz trio. He even had the band learn a song that we love. This band is priced lower than many of the other bands I interviewed and they are a FANTASTIC. We had 9 pieces and they played everything from Sinatra to Motown - we did not leave the dance floor for a minute. I cannot recommend this band more - book them, and you will be guaranteed to have an amazing party.

  We absolutely love Robbie Scott and the New Deal Orchestra!!! If you're looking for classy, sophisticated, big band/jazz music, this is the band to check out. We've been to so many events/weddings where the music is so loud that you have to shout so someone can hear you. Robbie Scott's band plays nice and soft so that you can talk and enjoy your dinner, but you still have beautiful music to dance to. They added such an elegant touch to our wedding and were the perfect musical accompaniment. Robbie even asked us how the volume was during the night--very thoughtful. The musicians are top notch. We can't wait to have another party of some sort so that we can work with them again!!

  This is a great band! i saw them at a friends wedding, and from my wedding, another friend hired them, because they were so good. Everyone danced the night away, they really read the crowd well.
