Beautiful and Great Customer Service

Nicole help us create our dream wedding. Since the first day we met her and visited the venue, we knew it was the one. The venue is very spacious with huge windows with the view of NJ/NYC. The service we got during our wedding was fantastic. Nicole's crew was very friendly and made sure all my guest were happy. Nicole worked with me as I DIY all my wedding decorations. She helped the preparation process be very easy and stress free. Very easy to contact her when I have any questions and concerns. We appreciate everything she has done for us. We are so blessed that we met Nicole. Thank you Nicole and her crew!

Amazing staff and venue

We hosted our wedding at St. Peter's University Duncan Family Sky Room in August 2018. When we first started our search, we were disillusioned by the other Jersey City wedding venues who only seem to care about providing the cookie-cutter, elaborate wedding experience.

Lauren LaGreca and the staff at St. Peter's University really sought to understand what we wanted and worked with us for many months on the simple wedding reception we wanted. They were patient in customizing our menu, took into account our multi-cultural heritage, and iterated on our feedback after the tasting. They gave us ideas on how to add some flair into our reception while still respecting our budget and the simple experience we wanted. They were very responsive, professional and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable amidst the stress of wedding planning.

The venue itself is gorgeous; nothing can beat the natural sunlight and the view of both NYC and the industrial New Jersey skylines.

With a great staff and a wonderful venue, St. Peter's University is a great value for money. We highly recommend them for anyone planning a wedding or other events in Jersey City.

Lauren:

Lauren is AMAZING!!!!!
She is friendly, caring, understanding and flexible with so many things.
She helped us to understand the details of the venue and what we have to know during the day.
We are so happy and grateful for Lauren and all the help she offered.

Space:

This place was the PERFECT place for us. It was spacious and had high ceilings making the place looking even more gorgeous.
We had about 130 people and the place (including the bathroom) stayed clean and nice (not hot/cold at all). Having a suite also helped very much!

We liked LOVED the dance floor being in the front and having all the tables in the back.

Food:
Amazing. Many of my guests live in NY and they can be very picky with food. EVERY SINGLE person I talked to commented on how amazing the food was. Some said it was one of the best food they have had in a wedding venue near NYC area! Food, desserts and all drinks were absolutely amazing.

Staff:
So friendly and professional. They are ready for anything and attentive to all my guests. Desserts and drinks were refilled right away that no guests had to wait.

It is only once in your life time and this is THE PLACE TO BE on such important day! <3

It was an experience like no other. Lauren is incredible. She helped us every step of the way to make our dream wedding a reality. There is no detail too big or too small that she won't overlook in making your day as perfect as possible. She is the best in the world. The entire catering staff was amazing. Jessica and Tabitha are a dream team. Chef Nick and his staff are talented beyond belief. Tasting is believing and we are believers. I would highly recommend this venue to any and everyone I come across who are looking for high quality and the experience of a lifetime.

Not only were they a life saver. They gave our youth program the same care and professionalism they would to a major corporate event. By far the best venue in Jersey City and one of the best in NJ. Excellent pricing and attentiveness.

This is an excellent venue for your wedding. Visit St. Peter's first before you go to any other venue. The staff is incredible; the room is beautiful, with amazing views; and the food was delicious. You can't ask for a better room with better service. working with the St. Peter's staff, I didn't have a care in the world at my wedding reception. Finally, we received the best compliments and reviews from our guests. So, everyone had a really good time.

Lauren & ana make magic happen! At a spectacular , majestic venue!

Lauren and Ana perform with such ease, pleasantry and professionalism. Thanks to these two very special women, our most special day will always be remembered for its beauty, its spirit and its uniqueness. We truly appreciate EVERYTHING they did to make this wedding a spectacular event!

With a MAJESTIC, panoramic views of Jersey City, NYC and beyond, The Duncan Sky Room delivers a jaw dropping back drop for any event. To add, it’s modern architecture provides an interior that is aesthetically sleek, beautiful and a perfect venue for a wedding. When we were planning our event this was the only space we considered as we had seen what the event coordinators and crew have done to transform the space for various galas and other functions. Two people in particular go above and beyond to make MAGIC happen, Lauren LaGreca and Ana Zapata- Rendon. These two women, with their keen eye for detail and a sensitivity to design and event production, brought our dream wedding to LIFE. From the moment of conception, to the event execution these two dedicated professionals focused their TALENT and EXPERTISE towards the SUCCESS of our event. For this we are eternally GRATEFUL!

Our MANDALA themed wedding was no easy feat as it involved many different components. Lauren and Ana handled every aspect of it with POISE and GRACE.
In their hands, we realize that anything BEAUTIFUL and EXTRAORDINARY is possible.

The event coordinator Lauren LaGreca and the staff went above and beyond to make this a successful event by being present and available before, during and after the performance. We are looking forward to many more events at St Peter's University Roy Irving Theater ! So lucky to have found this great venue!

Wedding of my dreams

This review is long overdue. St. Peter's especially Laura really helped to give me the wedding of my dreams. Every last detail was perfect and working with Laura was like having a day of coordinator wrapped into the venue.

We held the New Jersey premiere of my movie, Killer Party (It's a horror-comedy, haha), here and it was excellent. The venue is incredible. Lauren, who runs the events, was easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. Logistically, we had some challenges since I live in L.A., but she was so helpful and responsive and the event went off without a hitch. We served snacks like popcorn and pretzels and also beer and wine. It was great. The view is phenomenal and everyone from Saint Peter's was very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Lauren LaGreca, our event planner, did a fantastic job on setting up the venue for our needs. She crossed every "T" and dotted every "I" before the event took place. They are very flexible and accommodating. The Duncan Family Sky room is beautiful, spacious, and has spectacular views. It was also immaculate. Even the security guards were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using St. Peter's University as a venue. Should we need to host another event in Jersey City, we will most certainly be back.

I worked with Lauren LaGreca, Manager of Events, and she was wonderful. I plan a lot of large meetings and Lauren was one of the most responsive people I've ever contacted. The venue was great and had beautiful views. I loved that all AV was included and installed in the room so I didn't have to worry about it not working, or not arriving. Also, I was a bit nervous about hosting an event in Jersey City due to parking but all my attendees said it was very easy, (provided you send them the parking directions well in advance, and send a couple times!)

All of my guests were very impressed by the venue, the beautiful view, and the wonderful service. Lauren (Manager of Conferencing and Event Services) was excellent! She exceeded my expectations in coordinating my event! She helped me carry in the decor, helped me decorate, greeted/directed guests, etc. She minimized as much stress in planning on day-of-event issues.

If you want a beautiful party, view on NYC and some great food you should come here! Lauren helped us tremendously and we would recommend anyone to have a wedding here. The room is spacious and the dance floor has plenty of room dance!

I could not ask of a better venue and staff. Every detail was amazing my guest loved the food and the NYC sky line especially at night. I am so happy we hosted out wedding at SPU. Also, being an alumni it was an honor to have such a memorable occasion at my old campus. Lauren and Jessica were Godsent and made everything seamless and perfect down to the minute details. With that said if your considering an event of quality I would choose this location the Student Center Sky Room.

SPU was a wonderfully unique venue, which lent itself very well to our "vintage beach boardwalk" themed wedding. Lauren, the event manager, was very organized and provided us with many options. Although, the venue space is beautifully modern in its own right, my wife and I fell in love with the view. Floor to ceiling windows provide you with a 360 view of both the NYC skyline and the Pulaski Skyway. This is something you cannot truly appreciate until you visit the space. If you are searching for an atypical venue space that can provide you with a very special setting, the Duncan Sky Room may be just the venue you are looking for.
