  Sarah is amazing. Look at her portfolio - if that's the type of photos that you want, she's your lady. From the engagement session that put us at ease being the center of attention to the day-of, we couldn't have asked for a better person to be documenting our day. She's able to real capture moments - not just staged portraits (although she does that well, too, and with speed so you can enjoy your wedding!). She's so easy to work with. We can't recommend her enough!

  I was so overwhelmed with all of the results in my photographer search and even more so when we started looking the the cost. We heard about Sarah through a friend who was getting married a few months before. We Facetimed with her as she currently lives in Atlanta- but don't worry, anywhere in the US is just one fee! And we immediately felt so comfortable with her. Our goals were to capture the emotion of the day versus the posed, rehearsed images. Sarah was the perfect choice for us.
  
  An engagement session is included in the package, and our pictures turned out beautiful. She captures small details and for having your picture taken hundreds of times, she makes you feel very comfortable. A few days after our wedding she posted a picture of our first look and I literally started to tear up- it was absolutely perfect. She is so talented and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Sarah for anyone who wants a photographer that truly tells the story of the day.

  I can't say enough great things about Sarah. I found her through A Practical Wedding and just fell in love with her photos and how she so easily captures the joy of the events she photographs. We planned our wedding in Maryland long-distance from Texas, so we weren't able to meet up with her in person at first. She Skyped with us from Atlanta and even got in touch with us when she was in Austin visiting friends so that we could meet her before the wedding. She was an incredibly relaxed and warm presence to have around the day-of the wedding, and she made both me and my husband comfortable even though I hate having my picture taken. Many of our guests commented on how she seemed to be everywhere at once during the reception and she got so many fantastic candid pictures of nearly every one of our guests. During the family pictures she worked incredibly quickly so that we could enjoy the cocktail hour, and the resulting pictures were so great. Thank you Sarah!!

  We absolutely loved working with Sarah. She was very professional, responsive, and made us feel very comfortable while shooting. Her photos are absolutely gorgeous and capture the emotions of the day. She does an engagement shoot with all of her couples and this was a great chance to get to know her. It made the wedding day feel like an old friend was hanging out with us. We love our wedding photos and have gotten so many compliments on them. We couldn't ask for more and are so glad we found Sarah!

  We wanted a photojournalist style of photography for our wedding, and after looking at Sarah's website, I knew she shot in the way we wanted the feel to be for our photos. Sarah is kind, laid back, and easy to work with, so even though I get pretty nervous in front of a camera, she helped me feel more at ease. Nothing ever felt rushed, or tense with Sarah, and photos just happened organically as we walked around and she would see a pretty backdrop. When Sarah shoots, you can feel her excitement and love of photography, which clearly translates in all her photographs. Sarah provided us with a peek at our wedding photographs within just one week after the event, and we were so happy with everything. Sarah captured moments and emotions that you could feel when viewing the photos, which is exactly what we wanted. Overall, she did an amazing job and we could not be happier that we went with her.

  If you look at Sarah's work, you'll notice that while she has a definite (beautiful, natural) style, none of the weddings or engagements she shoots look the same. That's because Sarah captures the real people and real weddings that she shoots, rather than arranging them to fit a shot list or a script. The resulting images are evocative and intimate, and they radiate joy. We're so glad she was there to capture our people, and our wedding.
  
  On top of her raw talent, Sarah is an absolutely lovely person to work with. Our engagement shoot a few months before our wedding felt less like a "photo shoot" than a sunset ramble around our neighborhood with a friend -- and the relaxed, natural photos she captured reflected how comfortable we felt with her. At the wedding itself, Sarah was an incredibly calming presence through the flurry of pre-ceremony photos -- and at the reception, I almost didn't notice she was there, until she would materialize out of nowhere to snap a shot. She never posed or interrupted the action; she just captured it. We can't wait to see the wedding photos -- but based on the engagement photos and the rest of her work, we know they will be beautiful.

  Sarah was outstanding! We were incredibly lucky to have her and have someone who was so easy going. I was a massive ball of stress on the day and she actually kind of helped to keep me calm. She was incredibly flexible in the entire planning process and was very honest with me about the pros and cons of purchasing different photography packages. We received our photos really quickly after the wedding as well and LOVE them! A lot of our friends and family commented on how great Sarah and her assistant were in capturing candid moments throughout the night. They were both incredibly easy going, caught all of the right moments, and blended in with our crowd. We have had so many people say to us that they don't know how we're going to choose pictures for a wedding album when all of them are so good.

  Sarah is fantastic! She was super flexible and her photographs are gorgeous. We were super pleased with both our engagement photos and wedding photos. She's also great about posting photos to her blog, so you get previews before the full sets of photos are revealed. Would highly recommend.
