October 18, 2014 was the date of our son’s wedding at the Seabrook Island Club.This was our second son to marry on SI, and just as special as the first held April 28, 2012. To have two sons and their now wives choose our home to marry shows how wonderful the venues are here at SI.The ceremonies on the Ocean Terrace with sail boats and dolphin going by just added to the magic of the ocean view. Having an onsite wedding coordinator made planning very easy. Kathleen is hands-on throughout the planning and executing of the event. She and her staff couldn’t have been nicer to work with. The Atlantic Room was perfect for guests to enjoy the sunset, the ocean breezes, great food and room to dance the night away.Guests were able to rent villas and houses on Seabrook to stay and enjoy a long weekend of events. Many enjoyed a day in nearby Charleston.We even started the festivities off with a bonfire on the beach Thursday evening!We can’t thank all the staff at SI Club for two of the most special days in our family’s life.

We are so appreciative of the staff at Seabrook Island for providing exceptional service and attention to detail for our daughter's wedding. We just hosted our second wedding at Seabrook, and we can't recommend them highly enough. Our family has been members of Seabrook and going there for 30 years, and there is no other place we would even consider for our daughters' weddings. The facilities and location are of course perfect for out of town guests, but the real bonus is the professionalism of the staff. During both weddings, they worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was taken care of. All we had to do is have a brief meeting a few days before with Kathleen, the wedding coordinator, to make sure we were all on the same page, and she took it from there. The day of the wedding was a complete delight. Everything was taken care of for us, and we were able to be guests at our own event and not have to worry about anything. To them it is not just a business.....they truly want to make the day the special day every bride dreams off. Kudos to Seabrook Island and Kathleen. We are forever grateful.

This venue is absolutely spectacular! My daughter's wedding was on a bright sunny day in late September and it was nothing short of a fairytale. The Ocean Terrace is breathtaking with the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and the adjacent welcome center provided an ideal entrance for our guests and allowed us to set up tables for water and sunglasses as they arrived! The reception was held across the street at the elegant Atlantic ballroom. During the cocktail hour, the guests migled outside on the beautiful veranda and were treated to the music of the Plantation Singers. It could not have gone any better. The reception was in the elegant Atlantic Ballroom which was set up by the Seabrook staff exactly as we requested. The room was big enough to accommodate a 9 piece band, a huge dance floor and enough seating for over 140 people. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to the highly professional Seabrook Club staff. The food was delicious and came out at exactly the right time, the facilities were first class, the venue is simply amazing and the level of service and attention to detail was top notch. Many of our guests commented that they had never been to a wedding that was so picturesque and so elegant. You cannot go wrong with this venue.

My fiancé and I couldn't have chosen a better location to get married! Seabrook is absolutely magical, our Ocean Terrace ceremony was something out of a fairytale and the clubhouse was picturesque. Chef Randy did an amazing job with our food for the cocktail hour and reception. Kathleen was wonderful to work with, she was professional, down to earth and got to know us before the big day! I would highly recommend this location for any event!
