We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Seacoast Science Center! We always wanted to have our wedding by the ocean and we instantly fell in love with the location and venue. We also love the fact that the venue costs went back to the Seacoast Science Center which is a place I would visit during school trips growing up. Most of our guests are not from the local NH area and travelled internationally and we wanted them to be stunned by the beauty of NH's seacoast. Hollie and her team helped make sure our day was very special and went smoothly. -

Despite COVID-19 derailing a lot of our wedding plans, Sara at the Seacoast Science Center was absolutely wonderful! We planned to have just the ceremony at the SSC originally, and we got a lot of bang for our buck! The backdrop of the ocean was perfect, and Sara made everything run so smoothly. She was always prompt and upbeat, and super flexible with our changing plans. I was nervous that we would have SSC patrons all around (we got married on a Sunday at noon, so it wasn't after hours), but everyone was so kind and it felt very private despite it being public. There's all kinds of places to take beautiful pictures around the park. Would recommend in a heartbeat! -

Sara was more than amazing. We had to postpone our large wedding due to COVID-19 and planned an Elopement in the middle of it all as our date held so much meaning to us. Sara was flexible, alert, and never stopped working towards making our day everything we could have wanted in the middle of a global pandemic. She worked her butt off and continued to do so until the very last moment. She made it seem so effortless and never let a question or worry go unanswered. She made this our perfect day, our perfect moment and we couldn’t be more grateful. I couldn’t recommend this gorgeous venue or amazing coordinator anymore than I do. Usually brides have worries, and I got to go at this whole day worry free thanks to the SSC and Sara. If you can, book them, with no hesitation. Oh and bonus, the places for pictures are endless! -
User2425889 Sent on 11/14/2015The Seacoast Science Center was perfect! All the exhibits were light & guests enjoyed s'mores by fire pit station outside by the ocean. The Director Amanda & her helper were so very helpful before, during & after reception. This is a very special place! -
User2300717 Sent on 09/04/2015The Seacoast Science Center is one of the most natural, serene, and majestic wedding sites you could have. We had our wedding ceremony & reception there in August and it was the most beautiful and memorable occasions our families have ever experienced. It was not only a wedding, a party, but a family reunion. At first, this site was not our first choice because we were concerned about the number of variables or having to rent the tables, chairs, glasses, silverware, etc. But once you really wrap your head and arms around it - you have a blank canvas where you can truly create an event that you've always dreamed of, in the exact way you've always dreamed of. We also did it cost effectively (it looked like a $100K wedding but was no where near that) and there was a much warmer, serene and layed back feel to the event - it was close to heaven as you can get. This is all hard to describe - but I would take this every day of the week over a mundane function hall. We had a vision of what it could be and developed this vision as we went along. The Site Manager was very friendly and accommodating and helped us every step of the way. This is truly a hidden gem. -
User2308808 Sent on 09/10/2015The Seacoast Science Center was a wonderful venue!!!! I can't say enough good things about this venue or its staff. Amanda was a pleasure to work with from Day 1, very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly as was all of the Seacoast Science Center staff. Not to mention very willing to help with anything and everything. I know Amanda did a lot on the day of as well :) And the venue- wow!! My guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful it was. So much natural beauty and space and the tent the Science Center has set up is very nice, large and having a floor is great! We got very lucky with amazingly beautiful weather but this venue would make a cloudy day beautiful as well. Best of all, all of the money we paid for the venue goes toward environmental education, which is wonderful. Thank you Amanda and the Seacoast Science Center for making our wedding great!! -
User2277551 Sent on 08/19/2015I had such a wonderful experience planning and having my wedding at the Seacoast Science Center. Amanda Sobel is very knowledgeable about optional vendors and planning details. We were able to drop of decorations and other supplies for our wedding a few days prior to the wedding, which was very helpful so that we weren't transporting everything to the SSC on the day of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, the staff was super helpful and continued to check in with us throughout the afternoon to cater to any of our needs. The staff alone and the price would be great reasons to have your wedding there, but the view of the wedding/reception site is the top reason that you should have your wedding there. All of my guests loved being right on the ocean and kept commenting on how wonderful everything was. Only word of advice....if you will be there at night time, have bug spray available. The mosquitoes became pretty bad once the sun went down, but that's not out of the unusual for New England. Thanks SSC for such a great wedding!!!!!
