We chose this venue because of the value and the convenience. The packet we chose included so much including all food, cake, and a wedding night suite. They were also willing to price-match another venue and lower their prices a tad. It was a convenient one stop shop. We also really liked the area since the Riverview park is across from the hotel. My rating is that low because we went through a horrible wedding planning experience with this venue. We had 4 different coordinators during our planning. It was a nightmare! At one point we thought we weren't even having a wedding. They were awful at communicating with us. I kept having to reach out to the venue to ask them about when we'd be doing various wedding tasks, such as food and cake tasting and linen selection, because they would just drop the ball. We had our tasting and weeks went by and no one asked us what we had picked. The situation was stressful, frustrating, and unprofessional. Each coordinator came and went without a warning. I feared we'd get a new coordinator 1 month before the wedding because how could we build a rapport with someone in such short notice? Well, it happened. ONE month before our wedding, they hired a new coordinator, Jessica. Jessica was the one good thing about this venue. She managed to pull off everything in that one month. This venue gave us countless headaches, and Jessica worked hard to mend some of the damage. We still hit some bumps for expenses they were trying to charge us, but ultimately, our wedding was great, but it wouldn't have been so without Jessica. She was professional and gave us a few upgrades to make up for the chaos and heartache this venue caused--such as snacks for our getting-ready suites and a suite for my bridesmaids and me the night before the wedding. We suffered a lot while dealing with this venue, but now with Jessica, future brides can have assurance. We surely do recommend her. Jessica is why we didn't give this venue zero stars.
