    Steve was very flexible with all the craziness and little bit of traveling to entertain my guests! We could not have asked for a better dj for our day, and even coming up to the day he worked with myself and my mom to really nail down all the details! If you're looking for a great dj for ypur event SLS is who you want!

    Steve is a great DJ! He is very professional and took the time to meet with us personally to discuss our wedding and vision. He arrived to the reception on time and had everything set up and ready to go when guests arrived. He played the types of music requested during the cocktail and dinner times which I appreciated because I was able to hear my favorite artists before the party got started. The microphone at the reception wasn't very loud so some of the guests had a hard time hearing the speeches (the guest tables were not very close to the bridal party table either and it was a very large open area so I'm sure that made it more difficult for them to hear). My husband and I were able to hear the speeches so that's really all that mattered anyway. He played the songs that were on my music list and he played the songs that my guests requested. Our number one priority was to keep the dance floor going for as long as possible and Steve exceeded this expectation. Most, if not all, of the other DJs in the area were not in our budget. Steve's services are high quality for a reasonable price. He is very accommodating and made sure to ask me directly if he had any questions about the flow of the night or when to start/stop the music which I appreciated. Everyone at my wedding had a blast and it is because of Steve! I would recommend him to anyone who wants their wedding reception to flow with your timeline and be the best / most fun night of your life!

    Steve was awesome! We only were able to make 1 trip to our venue to plan and steve was able to work with our schedule to meet with us.

    I won't say everything was flawless but none of that falls on steve. We were way late turning in music and when we met him our vision for our wedding was nowhere near complete. He was even able to pull off music for the dollar dance at the last minute since we failed to discuss that prior to the big day.

    The music selection was awesome. Everyone loved his choices for dinner music and the dance music was great. We only had a few requested songs, the rest were all chosen by him.

    Definitely recommend. You can't beat the price and quality.

    Steve was amazing to work with through the whole process leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day! He was extremely quick in responding to our questions and very professional. He listened to what we wanted and our vision and made sure we saw our vision on our wedding day. Steve kept the guests dancing and was very energetic. His price is very reasonable and one of the best in town.
    If you looking for a DJ that will make your day special, listen to your ideas, and keep the party going..... STEVE is the guy! Wish we could marry him again so we can use him again.

    Steve is an awesome guy who really knows how to get the party going! Not only did he take requests for some of favorite songs, but he put together a seamless playlist to add the magic of music to our ceremony. I found Steve after being ghosted by a previous DJ and I have not regretted it since. I'm so glad he traveled to share in our special day with us!

    I work at the Irene Wortham Centers Adult Day Program and today we hosted a Valentine's dance for our clients ! We searched high and low for someone who would work with us financially and give our clients a chance to enjoy the privileges everyone else gets. Well Steve was our answer! Not only did he donate his services but he spent time listening and enjoying the company of our clients. Truly an amazing human being and not to mention best DJ I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Thanks Steve for everything!

    We had Steve DJ our company Christmas party, and he was perfect! He played all of our favorite Christmas songs, and accommodated all of our requests as well. I would definitely recommend Steve and SLS Entertainment to anyone!

    Dj Fantom was amazing. From the the time my event started until the very last dance, the dance floor was packed! He knew exactly what to play to keep my guests entertained. He was nice and professional too. I am going to recommend him to all of my friends.

    Once we had booked SLS entertainment for our wedding we felt great about our choice. They had us complete a Wedding Music List and Itinerary which was very in depth and helped assure us that they would know the type of music we liked and that they would be able to keep everything on track and in order, this was not at all the issue the day of the wedding. Other then some feed back from the mic used, we had no real complaints during the ceremony. The issue we faced started during the reception. Along with meeting in person to discuss our preferences & returned the form they requested, I had also emailed numerous song titles to them for our "Must have list" and to give them an even better idea of the music we liked and that would be requested. They played several "dance songs" which kept the dance floor hot but in the down time between "dance songs" the music sucked (No Oldies, very little country, very little rock). We along with several of our guests requested songs that they "didn't have.'' The icing that topped the cake so to speak for me was after requesting they play a slow dance song, they literally couldn't think of any and all suggestions given were declined because they ""didn't have them." It was a wedding for crying out loud !!!!! This was very disappointing to me and really ruined my mood for the reception, to the point that we had paid and planned for the reception to go on until 10 PM and we ended it at 9 PM !
    There were ups and downs to their services but sadly more downs then ups for us on our big day. If I had it to do over again I MIGHT would pay a quarter of what they charged to get the same service , but it definitely wasn't worth the $650 charged and $50 tipped....

    Hi Wendy! Thanks so much for reviewing our services, it was my distinct pleasure being your Wedding DJ on your special day :)

    We have all of our brides and grooms fill out a detailed music request list for specific songs for key moments throughout the evening: ceremony, reception, first dance, etc. I do appreciate that you sent a list of your favorites to us, but our contract also states that the DJ has control of the music program during open dancing. This is to ensure that many different types and genres of music is played to ensure the inclusion of all the guests, and play songs that you'd like to hear as well!

    I did play several slow country songs after it was requested (five slow songs to be exact!) along with well-known line dances, top 40 that the kids really enjoyed dancing to, classic rock, and hip-hop. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! In fact, we found ourselves tagged in a wedding guests post saying that I played her favorite hip-hop song. That's awesome!

    I had planned on the open dancing portion of the night to last until 10PM as planned (and contracted) but the house lights in the venue were turned on, and the venue owner approached me, and informed me that they were starting to clean up the venue and the evening was ending shortly. I also approached you (Wendy) and asked if you would like to to continue the open dancing until 10, but you informed me that I could play a few more songs, and then start breaking down equipment at 8:45PM. Most of the guests were also leaving at that time.

    Our packages, which start at $650, is we feel a reasonable rate to charge for our services. We do not require or ask for tips, but we do accept them when offered if your are satisfied with our services for your wedding day.

    Horrible experience

    Steve robbed our honeymoon suite of a $2000 Gold Watch, we have him on Camera taking it.
