  Book Soul City immediately! Best band ever!

  Stop looking at other wedding bands...now. Just stop. Soul City is simply the best. Natalie and the team were perfect to work with and made us feel super prepared leading up to the big day. The music was absolutely outstanding and the dance floor was on fire. Instead of referring to the day as our wedding, most of our friends and family have been referring to the day as "the Soul City Concert." :) The band went out of their way to accommodate our special requests and went with the flow with last minute schedule changes. Highly recommend Soul City!!!

  Every single person danced!

  If you want every guest at your wedding to get on that dance floor, Soul City is your band. They played songs across genres and eras, keeping the good vibes going for the entire night. Even my grandma, who has a strong aversion to dancing, got her groove on! So many compliments from our guests. We had some special requests of the band, including having our brother sing our first dance song, and adding in some special family dances. Natalie and the band were not just accommodating, but they were happy to do everything they could to make our celebration exactly what we wanted. We were so grateful to have our brother be able to play with them - thank you so much, for everything! A night to remember.

  So great to work with, amazing talent!

  easy to work with leading up to the wedding (Natalie is a true professional!) and very customizable in terms of ceremony, cocktail hour, reception set up. They learned 3 new songs just for our wedding, and the band itself was EXCEPTIONAL!! right amount of crowd interaction, played exactly the type of set list we were looking for, and just so much fun to sing and dance along to. only "negative" is that some of our older guests felt they were a little loud, but I think that is more a function of the acoustics of our venue. and my friends and i didnt notice any issue at all! completely recommend working with these guys-- fabulous to work with and incredible performers!

  Amazing, Talented, Unforgettable!

  As a musician myself, I knew I wanted to have Soul City as my wedding band before I even met my husband! Natalie is so professional, responsive, and supportive in every way! Soul City does not miss a beat, from the planning stages to the night of. All details will be covered and you can truly relax and leave everything up to them. Our guests had an amazing time and can't stop talking about the music. Having the full horn section was amazing and truly a dream come true for a fellow trumpet player. If you're thinking about a band vs DJ, do yourself a favor and include band/live music in at least some part of your wedding day (and be sure to book Soul City EARLY) - you will not regret it!

  Consider your search over!

  I cannot rave enough about Natalie and the entire Soul City family. Having a band was at the top of my wish list when I started wedding planning. However, through the rollercoaster months of 2020, we did not have an opportunity to preview bands due to COVID. While it may have seemed like a risk, I never doubted that Soul City would be anything but amazing. Natalie was patient and helpful as so many things remained unknown – especially when we had an unexpected venue change five months before our wedding. Getting to hear them in person a few weeks in advance really made us even more excited. I kept telling my guests, “just wait until you hear the band!” As we planned the final details, we easily were able to incorporate personal touches while utilizing the knowledge Soul City brings to the table. Every detail, from the flawless ceremony sound to the high-energy playlist, helped make our day perfect. They truly know how to get people dancing and our guests keep telling me weeks later how incredible the band was!

  Kept the dance floor full all night!

  Everyone needs to book this band. They were absolutely incredible. They had all my guests on the dance floor all night and they were by far the most talked about part of my wedding. I first heard soul city at my friends wedding, and when it was my turn to plan my wedding, I immediately reached out and booked them right away. Natalie and her team took every song request and learned new songs as well. I would recommend them over and over again.

  Just wonderful!

  Soul City band is the best! Natalie, the band manager, was incredibly accomodating in us booking the band and having to switch around dates due to Covid-19. Throughout every step of the way, she was understanding and responsive. It was a breath of fresh air during a very stressful time. I can't say enough about the integrity and professionalism of this band. Not only are they a talented group of individuals, but they are above and beyond with customer service and they made sure to provide the best experience possible for us.

  Soul City is Incredible!!!

  If we could give Soul City 10 stars, we would! Natalie, Tucker, and the rest of the band were INCREDIBLE last week at our Scituate, MA wedding. Early on, we knew we wanted a band. After seeing Soul City at a No Kids Hungry charity event, we KNEW they were the band we wanted. Throughout the planning process, Natalie was incredibly professional and very easy to communicate with. She was very organized, accommodating and positive throughout! Planning during COVID-19 was not easy, but working with Natalie & Soul City made it that much better. We had music throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our guests had the BEST things to say about Soul City, they felt like they were at a concert! Soul City has choreographed dance moves for their songs, the wind instruments brought the energy to the next level, and the lead singers were on FIRE!!!!! The whole band is incredibly talented and to know that our guests had the best time at our reception because of their music made my husband and I so happy! We couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces all night long. We plan to recommend Soul City to everyone we know who is looking for a band!

  Soul city is incredible!

  Really difficult to put into words just how amazing Soul City is. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, the most important part to us was the band. Our priority was having amazing music and energy that kept people on the dance floor, with our music tastes being a mix of classic Motown as well as some more recent hits. Soul City delivered on all that and much more. They are extremely talented - not only is their music incredible, from the performances themselves to the set lists, to their coordinated dance moves, and their AMAZING brass section, but their chemistry together and the way they treat each other and the audience is really unparalleled. It is so clear in everything they do how much they genuinely love making music together and performing, and it translates into such an amazing atmosphere.
  
  Working with Natalie was awesome - we always felt extremely taken care of, and everything was always so personalized. My husband and I had a few non-traditional details to work through with our wedding - a winter wedding, in Maine, in a barn, with a slightly non-standard flow of the event - which can make it especially difficult for a band to coordinate, especially such a large band. But Natalie was extremely flexible and supportive of our plans, we worked together to make everything work, and everything went off completely without a hitch. We felt like the success of our day in general was just as important to Natalie as it was to us, and even since the event we have still kept in touch on social media, which further proves how much Soul City genuinely cares about and connects with their couples.
  
  As we continue to look back on our wedding, without exaggeration, Soul City truly made the entire night as amazing as it was. From the minute they started playing, the party started, and did not stop. We have heard nothing but amazing reviews from our guests, with everyone begging to know who Soul City is. If you are lucky enough to be able to book Soul City for your wedding, do not hesitate - I cannot stress enough how happy you will be with that decision!

  Unbelievable!

  This band was unbelievable, my sister in law used them a couple years ago for their wedding, so the day after our engagement we contacted Natalie to book them! That's how we got our wedding date because we knew we had to have them play for us. Not a person was sitting the whole night and everyone is still talking about them weeks after the wedding!

  Unforgettable Experience!!! Prepare Your Dancing Shoes!

  What is the word that describes BEYOND extraordinary? Soul City is not a band, it is an experience. An incredible experience at that. We are forever grateful to be able to have the opportunity to work with Natalie, Tucker, and the entire Soul City family this past Saturday at our wedding at Saybrook Point Inn. To say that everyone was on their feet is not an exaggeration. The music was electric. The passion and energy was undeniable. The experience was priceless. This was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning - investing in a band like no other. We can’t count how many of our guests asked who our band was and where they were from. People LOVED them! Thank you Soul City! Truly. You were nothing short of AMAZING!!!! We thank you sincerely. Hope to work with you again someday! -Tom & Pantea

  Best Wedding Band! Soul City preformed at our wedding in October and had everyone up dancing. People were blown away by how amazing the music was. We love Soul City so much that we have been to many of their shows in the Boston area and will continue to go see them even though the wedding is over! They are a great group to work with and will go out of their way to make your wedding music perfect! We had two musicians for the ceremony, three for the cocktail hour and the full band for the reception. Soul City made the wedding truly unforgettable!

  Oh my goodness- do yourself a favor and book Soul City!!! They were unbelievable, true performers. Every one of our guests were raving about them and the dance floor was filled all night long. Natalie was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and we were so glad we booked with them. The music choices were diverse and they took our song requests and made them one of a kind.   Do yourself a favor and hire Soul City... you can thank me later.

  While we might be biased, we truly think we had the best wedding. And the best decision we made about our wedding was hiring Soul City. They totally put it over the top.
  
  First, the music. They are true professionals and are incredible musicians. They not only play the songs perfectly, they put on a show, make you feel special and get everyone dancing. It was a helluva party. My wife and I are also musicians... Soul City openly welcomed us to join them on stage to perform a song with them (me on drums and my wife on vocals) and it was a memory we will never forget.
  
  Second, they are a pleasure to work with. From start to finish we felt our needs and wants were not only listened to but fulfilled with a smile. A great customer experience that was a blessing in midst of a process that most would agree can be incredibly stressful. You are in great hands with Natalie.

  So much fun

  Soul City really knows how to get everyone up on the dance floor and keep them there! We had an incredible time dancing during the entire reception. Our guest could not stop raving about the band. Every communication leading up to the wedding was prompt. Music during the ceremony and cocktail hour were spot on.

  WOW - Exceeded my expectations

  I don't know what to say that other reviewers haven't already covered. Soul City was AMAZING. They put on such a great show, and our guests had an amazing time. Along with very talented musicians, you are also getting the services of top-notch sound engineers. We got married in a gigantic industrial pace with all hard surfaces, and the sound was so perfect all night, from the ceremony to the dance party. On top of that, Natalie was a huge help - she was quick to respond to every question we had, and went with the flow when we had room in the budget for some last-minute additions to our package. Soul City is not cheap - but they were worth every penny. I wish I could relive that dance party!

  Best decision you can make!

  Booking Soul City was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning! Our wedding was SOOO much fun and everyone was up and dancing (even multiple 95+ year olds) up until the last song. Every single member of this band is so talented!! We had ceremony + cocktail hour music in addition to reception music; it was all perfect. Natalie was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process in making sure that everything was exactly what we wanted. We had some special requests which were accommodated flawlessly. Could not imagine our wedding without Soul City - they are true professionals and they were a main highlight of the evening!!

  Soul City was the Best!

  Both my new husband and I work in the music industry so when we decided to get married we would have nothing else but a top notch band. A friend told us about Soul City so we went to hear them. They were warm and welcoming and eager to help us have a wonderful wedding. The band has 3 excellent vocalists, 4 great horn players along with an accomplished pianist and rhythm section. We were concerned about sound levels so they assured us that would not be a problem. I have to say that every time someone talks about our wedding they rave about the band. Everyone danced and had an amazing free spirited time. I could not have been happier. With their expertise and thoughtfulness, they made our ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding very special.

  Truly the best wedding band out there!

  We can’t give Soul City enough praise! From when we first inquired, band manager and lead vocalist Natalie was there to quickly answer any questions we had about options, pricing, etc. That didn’t stop once we booked either -- she was always just an email or phone call away, even offering advice on best practices outside of the “wedding band” purview. She is so warm and sweet, it felt like I was bouncing ideas off of one of my bridesmaids. When it came to showtime, Soul City blew our guests away. They provided ceremony music (keyboardist and guitarist + ceremony sound reinforcement), and reception music for the most amazing party of our lives! Soul City got everyone involved (even the kiddos!) and came out onto the dance floor multiple times to interact with everyone. It truly felt they were just an extension of our family celebration. This is one super talented group of musicians – we went to see them multiple times before our wedding, and will continue to go to their shows because they are just THAT good! Book them now before some other lucky couple snatches them up – it will be one of the best and easiest wedding decisions you make.

  Absolutely 10/10 recommend!

  I cannot say enough great things about Soul City! They were incredible to work with. Natalie is extremely responsive, organized and easy to work with which makes the entire planning process that much smoother. When it came to our actual wedding day, they were incredible! They did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that still has our guests talking, four months later! They were super fun and flexible, coming out into the crowd to perform, letting my rowdy college friends sing our Alma Mater's chant and even inviting me up to star on lead vocals. They managed to be the perfect mix of professional and fun. If you're looking for a top notch band- look no further!

  So much fun - best band ever!

  Soul City is absolutely the BEST!! Early on into wedding planning my husband & I knew we really wanted to have a live band. We did a bunch of research and from the moment we went to see Soul City perform in Cambridge and my dad couldn't keep himself off the dance floor, we knew we found the right band.
  
  Natalie was so incredible to work with throughout the whole process - she was incredibly responsive & proactive - coming up with questions or ideas that we hadn't even thought of. She took the stress out of planning and made us both feel really confident going into the big day that everything would be taken care of.
  
  Our wedding on June 1 was INCREDIBLE and Soul City had a huge role in making it the best day of our lives! We had such a blast on the dance floor, the musicians were incredibly talented, fun and professional all at the same time. All of our guests raved about the music and we continue to get compliments on it even months later!

  Incredible Band! THE best!

  We absolutely loved having Soul City perform at our wedding! They're so wonderful and easy to work with. They're incredibly talented, entertaining and interactive. All of our guests commented on how amazing they were. They had everyone dancing and contributed greatly to making our a blast! We highly recommend them!

  We LOVE Soul City!

  A+++ from start to finish. We loved having Soul City at our wedding! They rocked the dance floor all night long. Natalie was amazingly responsive and great to work with for the months leading up to the wedding. They played a great range of music and had all generations on the dance floor all night. Our guests raved about them! The horns! The vocals! The interaction with the crowd... everything was just right. We couldn't be happier with our choice to have them at our wedding.

  Soul City made our wedding a total and utter blast!! The dance floor was exploding with joy and laughter — all due to their enthusiasm and crowd involvement. We couldn’t have asked for a better and more considerate group to play at our wedding. Natalie was an amazing Coordinator and very responsive to all of our requests and needs. We cannot thank them enough for making our night even more memorable.
