    They were so accommodating to my wants and needs. I was able to find the perfect dress! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

    Robbin took care of us every step of the way - and was so helpful! My dress, the bridesmaids dresses and the tuxes were ordered from Spotlight and everything turned out wonderful! From trying on, to ordering, to alterations and steaming my dress the day before Robbin made sure everything was a pleasant experience. Our groomsmen returned most of the tuxes the day after the wedding, and said it was an easy process!

    *I went to the store in West Omaha* I visited Spotlight on a whim after visiting many other shops in the area. Although it isn't set up extravagantly like you see on "Say Yes to the Dress", it is a family owned business and their customer service is exactly what I was looking for. They do require appointments so they can dedicate their time to you, and also offer payment plans that work with your schedule. Robbin, the owner, was attentive, caring, and did not put any pressure on me to buy a certain dress or even a dress that day. She and her employees took time to pull many dress that fit my vague description of what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect, elegant dress that fit my price range. They carry dresses that are unlike others I saw at other stores. She let me come back time and time again to try it on and I was able to store it there for safe keeping. She truly cares about her customers and it shows through the time she spends helping them find the most important dress for their big day. Since then I have recommended it to friends who have also found their dress at the store. It is one of the best kept secret in West Omaha. Check it out!

    I came in with a budget. They met my budget with the vail and an accessory. Very nice people and great experience!

    The help that was provided from the time i got to my appointment until the time i left was superior. The prices and selection were great.

    I absolutely enjoyed my experience with Robbin and Marcus! They were very helpful with assisting me with finding a wedding gown for my special day! Spotlight Formal Wear is the best place to go for great service!

    Cindy the owner was so great to work with. Very flexible on payments, she offers layaway which really helps. They fit you very well, so you don't need too many alterations. The whole wedding party got their attire there. Everyone looked great, and I think everyone was happy with the price, and dresses, and tuxes.

    My experience should’ve been better

    I waited a little while before giving a review to Spotlight. Spotlight was my first bridal dress appointment. I had a great experience at first, I pick my dress at Council Bluffs store and was not expecting it to find it the first day. Alexis was very helpful, She helped me in and out of the dresses. Any girl who is went shopping for a wedding dress will agree that there’s no way you can get in that thing on your own without a little help. My dress was the third dress I tried on. I was very excited, spent more than I wanted to and bought a overpriced handmade veil (it ripped, I really regret buying it) as well as the steaming package. I was told we would get a gift card for liking their page and letting them post a picture of me saying yes to the dress. Which I did.

    My husband and I are efficient people. I had a good experience with my dress purchase and because I got a free suit for spending over $1000 for a dress, we decided to get our tuxes there as well. This time we picked out the suits with Robin at Lakeside. It was an easy experience, she was very kind and helpful, it wasn’t a long appointment at all. Our groomsmen got sized just fine and no one had any issues. Our gift card got forgotten about but I asked about it and was told I can pick it up the next time I came in. I don’t really care about the gift card and still haven’t picked it up. They can mail it to me if they want.

    When it was a month before my wedding, my dress was in so I had my first first fitting. Dress was big and definitely needed to be taken in. My veil wasn’t done yet. I thought that was going to be made by then but I must have misunderstood. I was bothered that no one helped me get in my dress which had a lot of buttons going up the back, I had to ask for help. Spotlight was very helpful at my purchase but this time, acrylic nails were an issue. This was the same thing at my final fitting and my sister-in-law had to help me. I was just showed a dressing room and left to my own devices. They were more helpful the first time around and this is where I started to feel like I was just a sale.

    They referred an independent seamstress for my alterations named Gloria. She put in the bustle and took in the dress for me. Her work was sloppy. The veil cost me $165 and it was cheaply made and tore, there’s no point in preserving it. Where she took in the lace on the top was sloppy as you can see in the pictures provided. She only gave me one button and a string for my bustle. My wedding coordinator and a guest spent 30 minutes in the bathroom with me trying to secure it because my train was too heavy.

    The groomsmen before us were late in turning in their suits and as a result we got our suits late too, with one of my groomsman getting theirs the day before the wedding. One of our groomsman suits had a hole in it and had to be fixed as well. Even though we got our stuff late we still had to turn our suits the day after the wedding. Which we did, we wouldn’t want another couple to go through what we did.

    I’ll tried to be fair in this review and honest, my whole experience was not bad but for the amount of money spent, our experience should of been better.

    I don't even know where to begin with the incredible hassle in dealing with them. I got married Friday, and sent my fiance to go pick up the tuxedos only to be told, they had the wrong date written down, therefore the tuxedos were not ready. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough. They finally managed to gather all materials needed, long after it cut into our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, mind you, and we did the final fitting for my husband, only to realize once he changed into the attire for our wedding, the pants were 10 inches bigger around the waist, the vest was too small, the shoes were the wrong size and the white shirt is not what I had ordered. I was also told she would order my sons shoes, free of charge with his tuxedo, only to have never received them. The woman measured my bust wrong when ordering my bustier, and when I went to try it on, was told they wouldn't refund because the package had been opened, even though it was FAR too large. My husband went to return all tuxedos the day after the wedding, and told me he was given a hard time about the hangers. The hangers should be the least of their concern and they should definitely focus more on customer service. My wedding ceremony started 30 minutes late due to all of the hassle and last minute trips to multiple stores to fix and/or replace what this company missed. I've never been so upset in dealing with a smaller family owned business. People are human, I realize that, but it was mistake after mistake after mistake. I would stay clear. They are nice at first, but the woman is far too scatterbrained and WILL screw up somehow. I still fail to understand how even AFTER the final fitting for my husband, she could still send him home with the wrong pants/vest/shirt/shoes. Beware of this company or you'll end up buying a second tuxedo that fits your ring bearer properly, at Walmart. All of this was money wasted.

    We strive to provide the best customer service. In this case, the customer wrote the date on our customer intake form. We were not responsible for the incorrect date. We did however make every attempt to rush putting together their tuxedos including an offer to deliver the tuxedos to their rehearsal.
    The customer requested the size of the bustier and was not measured. They did not try on the garment in the store as was requested and then tried to return the garment after they left the store.
    When the date supplied to us is correct, the tuxedos are prepared 2 days prior. This party did not come into the store until the day before. The tuxedos are tried on prior to leaving our store, or there is a "did not try on waiver" that is required. 3 of 7 tried on their tuxedos, while the remaining were not present and the Groom signed off on the waiver. We then provided our card to the Groom and Best Man to call in case anything needed attention. We did not receive a call.
    The Groom returned the tuxedos the following day and did not indicate any issues at all with the tuxedos. He did have the tuxedos in a pile and had to make return trips to their car due to the amount of items. We worked directly with the Groom and believe he was satisfied with our service.
