  Beyond excellent service. He was accommodating, responded immediately to all of my emails/texts, and suggested music for every moment of our wedding. He played all of our songs and kept the dance floor packed. He helped us create such a memorable wedding. My guests all complimented the music selection as well as his enthusiasm.

  I cannot recommend Steve enough. From the first call he really understood our personalities and the tone we were looking to set with our wedding. He provided such great ideas from his years of experience and was so helpful in getting me to think about certain aspects of the event that had not been top of mind for me. He was incredibly organized and thorough in planning. On the day of the event he did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. We had SO MUCH FUN! Everyone was up and dancing the entire time, he really incorporated our requests and went above and beyond our expectations.

  Steve Bloom was the DJ/MC for our wedding (along with Gabriel Salas), and he was excellent! His selection of music helped to get everyone on the dance floor immediately! In fact, despite having a Sunday wedding, our guests stayed to dance late into the night, even if they had work the next day! Steve was an absolute professional, speaking to us on the phone a week before the wedding to plan the intros, first dances, speeches, etc. In addition, the uplighting Steve provided was perfect for the hall. We could not recommend Steve Bloom Entertainment more highly.

  Steve is great! He did the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All the music was wonderful! He did play some songs I didn't like, but that was my fault for not telling him and putting them on my do not play list. He does exactly what you ask.   Steve Bloom was recommended to us from a friend who's wedding we had previously attended. He was great to work with. He was easy to contact, always quickly responding to phone calls and emails. The entire process of working with him to choose music for the party, set up introductions and play the music for our ceremony was easy and enjoyable. On top of all this, the price was extremely competitive with other DJ's we contacted. Me and my wife would certainly recommend him to anyone.

  Steve was recommended to me and my husband by my father who had worked with Steve before. During the first phone call, I knew he was the DJ we were going to use. He was extremely friendly, down to earth and flexible . We ended up having a conversation past all the wedding talk! He responded to emails (which were many because I had lots of questions and ideas leading up to the big day) very quickly and he even called on his own a couple of times just to check in. The day before the wedding, we spoke and reviewed how we wanted the day to go and the day of the wedding went perfectly. We had our ceremony outside, so Steve provided us with the music for the ceremony as well as the sound equipment such as the microphone and speakers. For the reception, Steve played exactly what was on our list as well as some additional song that he felt would keep the party going. My husband and I didn't want people to make requests (knowing the crowd we had, it could've gotten out of hand) and Steve stuck to that, especially if the request was on our do no play list. Some of my guests even gave him a hard time (which I apologized for), but he still didn't give in; instead he played it off as to not hurt any of the guests feelings. Steve was so committed to keeping the party going that he even suggested some music to play to keep more people on the dance floor. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how great the music was. Not only was Steve a great DJ (who was reasonable priced might I add), but he was a great person who genuinely enjoys his job and treats all of his clients and events like they are his own.   Steve, you did a fabulous job for our class of 1973 Hackensack High School 40th reunion. You got the entire class to our feet. They danced even long after the reunion ended. Your personal touch of video taping the principal, Harold Bloom, guest speaker who was unable to make it personally added to the warmth of the memories for the class. Your creativity of adding our yearbook pictures to the end of the speech flashing them across the drive in movie sized screen, not only left people squealing with delight, but you exceeded any expectation we could have had even after all the phenomenal planning we had done. Just knowing everything was in your hands added a special touch for all HHS class members and their guests. We highly recommend SteveBloomEntertainment. At other events I've attended, you have also proved to be a great MC your ability to communicate with Spanish and French guests added the final touches.

  We used Steve Bloom for our wedding at Ramsey Golf and Country Club, based on referrals from RGCC and other friends that had been to events DJ'd by him. I have to say, we were THRILLED with everything he brought to the table! Getting a DJ, I think, is a hard step, because reception music can make or break a party.   We utilized Steve for my older daughter's sweet 16 and had such a great experience the first time around, asked him to play at my younger daughter's sweet 16. Both were fantastic events, very memorable and flawless. Would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a qualified, talented and highly professional individual.

  I can not say enough great things about Steve and his band! He was very accommodating leading up to our wedding, making sure that we were comfortable with every decision, and the day of he was nothing but professional! We had him DJ as well as play live music which was such a great combination and option. My guests were on the dance floor enjoying themselves the very minute it was opened and I attribute this to his playing and energy. His costs were much lower then any of the other bands that we looked at especially for the quality that we got. It was one of the best decisions that I made for our wedding!

He was exactly what we wanted in a DJ - played a mix of classics and new stuff, knew when to change it up and how to accompany different parts of the night, and wasn't at all intrusive in his announcements. He knows his music, and he kept our guests on the dance floor till the end! He really listened to our requests (I did not want any line dancing!) and deferred to us if people went to him to request songs or other things. If I could give Steve 10 stars for value, I would - he was a total bargain, especially considering how great he was.   We used Steve Bloom Entertainment for a corporate 20th anniversary event on a cruise around NYC. Steve was extremely accommodating and played awesome music. People danced, ate, drank and most importantly enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend.

  This was a Hall of Fame event recognizing distinguished honorees and included the Governor of the State as a speaker. Attendees remarked on liking not only the selection of music, but Steve's response to requests for specific songs. They were most appreciative of his attention to the appropriate volume of the music throughout the evening. They could easily hold conversations to background music during dinner, but also enjoyed when it was meant to be the focus for the moment . Because there were several presentations, the quality of the sound system and making sure that the different speakers could be heard was important. Steve came through on all accounts. We highly recommend his services!!!!
