    My husband and I hired Swank Events for our wedding at the Charles River Museum. From the first phone call with Betsy, I knew it was a no brainer that she needed to be my day of coordinator. I had poured my heart and soul into planning for months yet I had no plan as to who would be directing my big day. I knew I didn't want it to be my bridesmaids or family - I wanted everyone to enjoy themselves! Betsy came to the rescue - she is super organized, professional, and the sweetest person you'll meet. She coordinated with my vendors before the wedding to make sure that everyone was on the same page and knew not to contact my fiance or I - she handled everything! From setting up, making sure everything kept on schedule, vendor payments, cleaning up - Betsy was there. If anything went wrong at our wedding, I had no clue because she took care of it. Best decision we made the entire planning process!

    My husband and I hired Kristin and her team at Swank Events to be our day-of coordinators for our wedding. Not only was the price very reasonable but Kristin was also super responsive in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She is incredibly organized, putting together a detailed timeline for the wedding day and staying on top of the dozens of emails with vendors that came her way. On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I were able to completely relax and enjoy the festivities because Kristin handled everything, even unexpected hiccups that arose. We could not have done this without Kristin and Swank Events and absolutely recommend them to others! You won't regret it.

    The best decision we made in the wedding planning process was to bring Kristin and Swank Events on board to assist us on our wedding day as well as a lot of pre-wedding coordination of our vendors. We had a number of issues pop up with our reception location as well as our caterer and Kristin went to bat for us without blinking an eye. She took the stress out of the prep, kept me calm in the days leading up to the wedding, and brought our vision to life. I have highly recommended her to all of our engaged friends and cannot thank her enough for the sense of peace she brought me in what should have been an otherwise stressful day!

    Hiring Kristin & the Swank Events team for "day of" planning was one of the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. Not only was Kristin super helpful in recommending most of my vendors (which all turned out to be wonderful), she is so professional and such a kind person to work with. I initially thought I could plan a whole wedding on my own but I after working with Kristin, I know that I definitely would have been overly stressed and would not have enjoyed my wedding as much as did knowing that everything would run smoothly with her in charge. She reached out to all my vendors, making sure everyone knew that she was the contact person on my wedding day so I was not stressed about anything. She knew exactly what I wanted for my big day and spoke up for me when other vendors were trying to talk me out of things that I really wanted. Her team decorated our reception exactly how I described. The staff working at our reception venue said they had never seen the room look more beautiful. Kristin made sure everything stayed close to our timeline, nothing felt rushed. At the end of the event, they cleaned up all our decorations and boxed everything up so the next day we could easily swing by our reception and pick everything up. The last thing the bride wants to do after an awesome reception is clean up!
    Having an event planner is the best thing you can do for yourself on your wedding day. Kristin and the Swank Events team is worth every penny! My family has been raving about how wonderful they all were and that everything went so smoothly. I highly highly recommend using Kristin, after working with her and her team you will be amazed and not know how you would have functioned without them!!

    Working with Kristin Healy & Swank Events was the BEST decision we made in the whole wedding planning process!! I initially reached out to Swank Events when I was trying to figure out "day of" logistics for our wedding; we were bringing so many decorations/other items to the venue and needed to have set up done in a very short window of time (the venue allowed access no more than 2 hours prior to the event). I was worried about everything being put together the way that I envisioned, but after my first conversation with Kristin, I knew that she was exactly what we needed! I reworked our budget to fit Swank in, and though it seemed at first to be high price to pay for just the "set up" that I was looking for, Kristin ended up doing SO much more & made it worth every penny!! She worked with all of our vendors to nail down logistics, checked in with me multiple times to make sure that nothing had been overlooked, & worked with me to figure out how to handle different stressful aspects of our ceremony & reception. She came to our rehearsal and made sure that everybody was on the same page, and when she saw that I was planning on breaking apart and alphabetizing escort cards at the last minute, she took them from me and did it herself!
    On the day of our wedding, Kristin set everything up better than I had envisioned, and still found time to make sure that everything else was going smoothly. Kristin knew that the most important thing to us was being able to enjoy our wedding day and actually get to go to the party with all of our guests- and thanks to her, we felt like we got to have as much fun as everybody else!! She communicated to our vendors what we wanted/needed, and even made sure we always had a drink in our hands! We're still in awe of how fast & efficient she was with packing everything up & helping us get out the door at the end of the night. I truly can't imagine what our wedding would have been like without her!! Swank Events made our wedding perfect!

    My husband and I worked with Betsy for our 200 person outdoor wedding in June 2016, and couldn't be happier! I consider myself a very organized person and plan events as a part of my own job, but Betsy thought of so many things that never crossed my mind. We didn't get married at a wedding venue and had to do everything ourselves, and I know that our wedding wouldn't have gone smoothly without Betsy. She helped make sure that the last two months before our wedding were a breeze. She's incredibly smart, organized and an absolute dream to work with. Every element of our wedding went off without a hitch, and this was in large part because of Betsy and the Swank team. I have already recommended her to all of our friends getting married this year, and couldn't recommend them more to all of you!

    My fiancé and I hired Swank Events after making no progress on wedding planning after a year of being engaged. Before hiring Kristin and her team, we talked with a few other potential planners in the Boston area, but they scoffed at our budget and their pricing was outrageous. When we met with Kristin, she made us feel comfortable and respected our vision and priorities. Not to mention, Swank Events’ packages and pricing are probably the most reasonable and provide the most value in the entire Boston area.

    We worked with Kristin for almost a year leading up to our wedding. She helped us select every vendor, all of which were amazing. She put together our day of timeline, came to meetings with the caterer with us, reminded us that payments were due, worked directly with our vendors, etc. All of her communications were professional, prompt, and reassuring.

    The day of coordination went flawlessly – I don’t think we would have enjoyed our wedding without it! If there were any problems, I had no idea because Kristin handled them. As a result, we were actually able to be guests at our wedding and enjoy ourselves. I don’t know why people would spend all that money on a wedding and not make this extra investment to be able to enjoy the event you are spending tens of thousands of dollars on.

    My fiancé was a bit skeptical of hiring a wedding planner in the beginning. However, he will constantly sing Kristin’s praises now. We were both absolutely exhausted at the end of our wedding day when Kristin said that she would take all of our gifts, cards, decorations, etc. home and meet us a few days later to give them to us. My fiancé looked at me and said, “Wait, so if she wasn’t here, we would have to clean up and load our car right now, at midnight, after the most exhausting day of our lives?” That alone made hiring Kristin worth it to him.

    We had an absolutely flawless day and were able to enjoy it and the planning process thanks to Kristin and Swank Events.

    We hired Kristin and her team to be our day of coordinators. Kristin was really responsive and answered any questions I had along the way in my planning process, as well as handling all the day of duties. She was great to work with and always responsive in emails. We had a lot of set up and take down at our venue that had to happen in a short period of time and her team executed everything perfectly. They were even able to take some of our extra items and place them around the venue making things look even better. Kristin was always friendly and receptive to ideas, even during the reception when I asked her to bring our items back to the hotel rather than what we had originally planned, she was more than happy to oblige. I highly recommend swank events for their day of coordination (and I can only imagine how great the full wedding planning is too)!

    We hired Swank for our day of coordination, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kristen and Jeanette went above and beyond to make sure everything was PERFECT for our big day (including helping us with any last minute planning). They were there from start to finish, and made us feel comfortable and confident that everything would go smoothly

    I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for the perfect, low stress experience!

    I decided to work with Swank Events last summer, just before starting my PhD program, and I would absolutely do it again! I worked with both Kristin and Jeanette for my wedding last Friday at the Lyman Estate, and they were both excellent. Extremely organized, major attention to detail, and just a pleasure to hang out with throughout the planning process. They hooked us up with fantastic vendors when I didn’t have the time to research all the possibilities – this was essential for me. They were always highly responsive, ready to answer any of my random etiquette questions that came up along the way when I wanted an expert’s opinion to inform my decision. And, just as important, they respected our budget and never pushed us to spend more. Throughout the planning process, Kristin thought of many questions I never would’ve known to ask, and Jeanette was great about keeping us organized and on schedule without being intrusive on the day of the wedding. The peace of mind that comes with knowing you have a professional to put out the little fires that arise on the day of the wedding is also well worth the price! From our perspective, the day was flawless, and the whole event hit just the right notes with our guests. We got many compliments on how the day was very “us,” and Kristin and Jeanette helped us achieve that.

    First and foremost, I had an absolutely flawless and fantastic experience with Swank Events and working with Kristin, from the moment of our first introduction, through the final hours of my big day as she helped box up my final "takeaway items", through the follow up emails sending words of congrats and post-wedding feedback on my vendors. THANK YOU! As a type-A, engineer, self proclaimed "super planner", i certainly found the perfect fit.

    My sister, and MOH, found Kristin and Swank Events, and I knew she was the perfect match from the start. She brought a lot of wedding event planning experience to the table that educated us without our first in person meeting, that helped us out tremendously with our day of schedule, photo plan desires, vendor bookings, floor plan, and overall logistics, that guided us from the get-go. And truly helped us focus our time and efforts in the right areas.

    Kristin and Swank Events truly have it together and absolutely know the ins/outs of the industry - even when you think you have thought of everything (trust me I tried), you realize there is still a lot to learn, and she's got your covered. She's personable, professional, extremely organized, confident, and makes you realize that you are in good hands for whatever services you may need.

    On the day of, and leading up to, she went above and beyond to make sure all the loose ends we're perfectly tied up, and she completely rolled with the punches and helped us execute our wedding dreams.

    It was an absolute pleasure working with Kristin. I felt like I had a dear friend there by my side making sure everything played out as planned.

    I have already sang your praises to many of my friends and brides-to-be, and they too are just excited to work with Swank Events from everything to small parties, showers, and gift baskets, to day-of coordination and full on event planning. They are lucky to have you!

    We used Swank Events for day-of services for our wedding. Kelli was our main coordinator and she was fantastic. First of all, the day of coordination actually involved much more than just showing up on the day of the wedding and making sure that things run smoothly. I had hired almost all of the vendors ahead of hiring Swank, but I thought I might need help on the day of because there were a lot of logistical elements involved with getting people moved around and keeping things on time. Kelli met with us a few times before the wedding and went over lots of checklists and ideas for us to help make sure the day was perfect. She reviewed and gave advice on our invitation wording so that things were communicated clearly to our guests and she assisted invaluably with the most complicated parts of our wedding--transportation and scheduling. Additionally, she served as a sounding board throughout the entire process for ideas we had and gave us advice on whether or not they would work or how to make them work better. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and how to execute it, but even with that, I could not have pulled it off without her.
    On the day of, it was a huge relief to know I could call her and she would just "handle it" whenever anything came up. Additionally, she worked seamlessly with my venue to make sure things were perfect and just how I envisioned it. Any little hiccup--she handled it. I only needed to keep track of one thing all day--her phone number. One call and any question I had was answered, any little challenge was fixed.
    I wasn't sure in the beginning if I really needed a day-of coordinator. My venue has its own coordinator and I was pretty far along in the planning and had done alright on my own. And it is a bit of an investment. However, looking back, hiring Swank was one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding planning process.

    Kristin and her team at Swank events were an integral part of making our wedding exactly what we wanted! Kristin and Jeanette worked seamlessly with the vendors we already had and gave us excellent recommendations for the vendors we still needed. Swank provided multiple options within our price range for each vendor. Kristin was always professional and kind as she carefully listened to what we wanted, and offered advice as to what we should consider adding. Swank staff had everything running smoothly throughout our wedding. My husband and I both highly recommend Swank Events.

    Swank Events deserves way more than five stars for the incredible work they do. We got them involved in our wedding planning process pretty early on, following a very strong recommendation from friends of ours. Looking back at how much legwork they did on our behalf, I can say that their services are easily worth ten times what they charge. From the very beginning, Kelli and Kristin worked tirelessly to understand our personalities and wishes for the big day. They are wonderfully flexible and accommodating, which was hugely important for us as we both work long hours, and they were willing to meet at times and locations convenient for us. They kept our vendors (and us!) on track with the utmost sweetness and tact. It was also such a relief to know that each decision we made and each dollar we spent was being supported by the opinion of experienced professionals. They know the Boston wedding scene and they are well accustomed with finding vendors to match any requirements, whether that be price point, aesthetic, or whatver else - and they are also well versed in negotiating with vendors to get what you need.
    And for the actual wedding day, K and K (along with their small army of staff) made sure that everything moved smoothly behind the scenes, so that we could concentrate on what mattered - our guests and each other!
    I am already spreading the word among my friends who are starting to plan their weddings - Swank Events are who you need on your side! THANK YOU Kelli and Kristin!!

    Kristin Doucette was our primary wedding planner, and she was wonderful. I recommend getting a wedding planner involved EARLY! I firmly believe Swank Events pays for itself (in both money and sanity). We are a busy Boston couple and wedding planning was difficult for us to fit in. In short, we couldn't have done this without her. She really listened to who we were and what we wanted, and she made sure our day was fun (which was what we cared most about). She even sheltered the top tier of our wedding cake while we were in Italy and then delivered it to us!

    Kelli, the woman behind Swank Events, may be the hardest working woman in the state. As a wedding planner, you have to be negotiator, project manager, accountant, expert in photography, florals, cakes, etiquette, sometimes a therapist…the list goes on. Kelli manages to do all that for her clients in addition to having a day job. It’s baffling, really!

    When I got engaged, I knew I needed a planner. I had a vague idea of how much went into planning a wedding and I simply didn’t have time. With only 9 months to plan my wedding, I found Swank Events on Yelp and contacted them. After glowing references from past clients, Kelli and I met and I hired her on the spot. She really listens to what you want from your wedding day. She never forgot the things I told her in that initial meeting – she had our “theme” in mind with every vendor recommendation.

    9 months of working with someone to put together the most important day of your life is very hard to put into a succinct review. It’s difficult to know where to start! Kelli did all the legwork on venues in and around Boston, putting together SUPER helpful portfolios for each with pros and cons, costs, etc. She came with us on all the tours and asked the questions I had no idea were important to have answers to. When we fell in love with the beautiful rooftop room at the Taj in downtown Boston, Kelli somehow worked her magic to make it affordable for us (seriously, I still don’t know how she did it.)

    Kelli knows lots of local vendors and can find and recommend ones that fit your style and sensibility. She’s pretty opinionated when it comes to certain vendors, but also respectful of your choices (I had my heart set on a photographer that was slightly out of our budget range but Kelli knew it was important to me and made it work.) She’s also excited to find new vendors – when we didn’t want a cake, she went out and found us a great place for mini whoopee pies!

    Kelli is super responsive – I have over 500 emails/texts/calls from her from the past year. She’s also passionate about her work and it shows in everything she does. On top of all that, she’s just a good person! Our “meetings” often took place in my apartment- which was so convenient with my schedule- over a glass of wine. I don’t think there is anything Kelli wouldn’t do to make her clients happy on their big day. I would recommend Swank Events to every bride; whether you need full service planning (like myself) or something more a la carte. She has options to work with every budget and her assistance, guidance and inspiration were worth 10 times her fees.

    Simply put, my husband and I have Kelli to thank for a beautiful, stress-free wedding day. And isn’t that what it’s all about?
