We are so happy we chose Tapatio Springs for our daughters wedding weekend and reception! Jessie was wonderful from start to finish! The entire team from sales and catering, to guest services was so helpful, friendly and professional! The bridal suite is lovely and spacious, everything worked out so conveniently and smoothly on wedding day. Beautiful venue with incredible views as well! Our families enjoyed staying for the weekend as well. Perfect hill country wedding! Thank you Tapatio!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! The food is terrific - service is awesome and my daughter married the man of her dreams! The atmosphere - just everything was perfect! Thank you Tapatio Springs!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort!!

Our daughter and son-in-law got married at Tapatio Springs the first weekend of April 2022. They were looking for a comfortable family-oriented place where all our out-of-town family & friends could be together and feel at home. That is exactly what we had! During their downtime, our guests hiked, swam, played cornhole and relaxed at the lounge listening to live music!

We had all events right on site, a Welcome Reception on Friday evening at Oak Pavilion, an absolutely gorgeous Wedding Ceremony at Frederick's Creek then the Cocktail Hour and Reception on the Bluffs Lawn. We wound up the weekend with a Brunch in the Bluffs Event Center.

Jessie was wonderful! She helped us so much through all the planning from the very beginning! We would not have had a weekend like we did without her! The staff (reception, housekeeping, food management, wait and bar tending staff) were all amazing. We wanted for nothing! In fact, they provided things we didn't even know we needed!! All were always ready to help! They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food for each event was delicious! All our guests raved about the food!!

Jessica Sales was absolutely amazing and very helpful throughout the planning up until the very day of! The staff was very attentive and helpful with all of our guests. The venue was picture perfect and exactly what we were wanting to make our dream wedding a reality! I would highly recommend Tapatio springs for any occasion you are looking for, even if it’s just for a quick get-a-way.

Tapatio Springs is a beautiful facility with picturesque backgrounds. The staff is very professional and accommodating, they made our wedding very special. I wish I had a second daughter so that we could have another wedding at Tapatio.

All of the Tapatio staff were amazing, from the catering staff, the bartenders, to the front desk staff. Look no further, Tapatio Springs is the ABSOLUTE BEST spot to get married in the Texas Hill Country! We cannot praise this place and the event/catering manager, Jessica, enough! She jumped through so many hoops to bring our day to fruition amidst the pandemic and promptly responded to every question/concern we had . Everything turned out beautiful and the food was super delicious. It was the most magical day thanks to her and the rest of the friendly staff. Can't beat Tapatio Springs!

Ours son's rehearsal dinner was spectacular! The resort did a superb job from the minute we walked in the door and throughout the whole process of planning all the details! Which were quite a lot of details. They promptly answered any questions I had very professionally.
The actual day that I decorated the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
During the dinner, the staff was on schedule the whole evening. The dinners came out all at once. The dinner was hot and very delicious! After the event was finished the staff cleared the tables and made it so much easier to pack up my decor. I can't thank them enough for making things so less stressful on me that I could sit back and relax and enjoy the night of wonderful moments I will never forget! They exceeded all my expectations!

We throughly enjoyed having our wedding at Tapatio Springs. We felt our wedding was beautiful, exactly as we imagined it. Beyond the appearance, the staff at Tapatio Springs made the experience unforgettable. Jessie and Jonathan's incredible hospitality radiated among all staff members throughout wedding planning and our wedding weekend. We were the first wedding since they re-opened following the clubhouse fire in 2017 and subsequent re-build. The facilities were not totally finished as we anticipated; however, the entire staff worked tirelessly to make our guests feel welcomed and our wedding weekend look and feel beautiful. Looking back, what we remember most from our wedding weekend is the people we were surrounded by and the fun we shared at Tapatio Springs, which was exactly our hope! We cannot wait to go back for a long weekend. Don't forget to have some Codigo tequila before the big day!

This venue was absolutely amazing! After the fire we didn't think the wedding would happen and it did. The staff was extremely accommodating and made my dreams come true! I would recommend Tapatio Springs to everyone!

Hands down one of the BEST experiences I have had. The staff,rooms, quality of food made my daughters wedding an experience I will nevr forget.

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception here! They were so easy to work with and really helped us put all our worries behind us. Anytime I had a question (and I had a lot) I got a response almost immediately. Jennifer was extremely helpful and helped us save the most money possible, not to mention the venue is absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend them as our experience was wonderful!

Tapatio Springs ended up being a beautiful venue. The staff was attentive and helpful with quick service. We had a perfect wedding day and they were a huge part of making it happen.

Beautiful location, delicious dinner, great service. We had a fantastic time and had several guests out of state guests that returned the next day just to take in the beauty of the location again (and taking a picture of George Straits locker in the mens locker room :)).

The Resort has recently been renovated and what an improvement. It was a beautiful venue for a wedding in the Texas summer heat. Our event was in the Cibolo Room which is indoors in the A/C but has floor to ceiling windows with fabulous views of the golf course. This made for some stunning wedding photos. The staff was fantastic. Everyone we encountered from our event coordinator to the services staff were FABULOUS. They were friendly and helpful the entire night making sure we were pleased with our experience the entire evening. The drive to the location is the only drawback if you live in central San Antonio, however, it is worth the great prices and the stunning location and views.

My son and daughter-in-law were married at Tapatio and had a reception afterwards.

I want to thank Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort & Spa for being so accommodating! It was the perfect venue and Kelly Baker and Armando were so helpful! The staff also went out of their way to help our guests! There was only one person we came in contact with that was slightly rude, the resort director....We think he might have been friends with some locals that did not like our party...HOWEVER, THE REST OF THE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING! THEY WENT SO ABOVE AND BEYOND WE HAVE TO GIVE THEM A 5 OUT OF 5. THANK YOU IN PARTICULAR TO KELLY AND ARMANDO! YOU BOTH ARE THE BEST!!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING HERE! SO WORTH THE PRICE! EVERYONE WAS AMAZING! OUR GUESTS LOVED IT! EVERYONE FROM THE BARTENDERS TO THE WAIT STAFF TO THE GROUNDS KEEPERS TO (MOST OF) THE MANAGEMENT WAS ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT AMAZING! I ENCOURAGE YOU TO CALL KELLY TO BOOK YOUR WEDDING!

After working with the people from tapatio for over a year, I came to love the resort more and more! We've even visited on a few occasions just to get away. The banquet manager, Armando, was awesome! He really made our wedding day perfect making sure everything was to the tee!! Kelly was great too and she never seemed frustrated every time we changed something in our timeline.

The place is breathtaking. It's like you're not in Texas anymore. The service was overall very friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, we had a LOT of issues with the financial side of things. We had to have our bill fixed 3 different times because the charges were not correct throughout our few nights stay. We were told that the complimentary wedding night room was accidentally given to someone else, so we got charged for it. We also got charged for complimentary/"thank you booking with us" champagne and strawberries we didn't order. After speaking with the front desk about this, they were very happy to fix the problem, but it would have been best if the issues had not arrises to begin with. It honestly felt like the people doing the billing were still training or that information was not communicated properly.

There was an incident with the music at the kid pool, which is right next to the spa and in between multiple buildings. The DJ at the pool thought that people half a mountain away needed to hear the music, and the latest update on the watermelon competition and the ballon fight, and had the music blasting toward the buildings in order to do so. This quickly turned a peaceful quiet evening into a headache. In addition, despite several people talking to the managers, the DJ was unable to turn the music down. (Apparently it only had two settings - blasting found or off).

Otherwise, I found the staff very friendly and willing to help once you talked to them in person. If they are able to accommodate your needs, I found that they would be willing to do so. After the wedding, we had a group of people stay at one of the fire pits outside the lobby, and the guy at the front desk let us know that he left the back doors open for us, just in case we needed to use the facilites.

If you are looking for a nice quiet get-away, make sure you are in the buildings that are not near the pool area. The place is truly gorgeous.

Tapatio was in the process of building a new ceremony site whenever we signed, so we got a discount. With the discount, the place is very affordable in terms of venue fee (don't forget the tax and 20% service charge that they tack on)- however, you are required to use their catering, which is pretty pricey, and their alcohol (outrageous- they charge ~$200 for a domestic keg (Bud light) and $350-500 for a craft keg). Krista, the sales manager, is all over the place and half the time you can't get ahold of her- this was extremely frustrating. She quoted incorrect prices, told me they couldn't comp the bride/groom's room unless 40 guest rooms were booked, but then 3 days later told me they could/would comp our room, she and the wedding coordinator would give me different answers, etc. Krista is a sweet girl, I just don't think she knows how to do her job. My biggest complaint would be their unresponsiveness and the fact that they waited until a few days before my wedding to sort out all of the details instead of taking care of it in advance, like I tried to. Also, I was under the impression that Mallorye (the wedding coordinator) would be present during my entire event, yet I only saw her once- during cake cutting. I did not see her at all the day of, so I emailed asking if we could meet so that we were on the same page, at which time she came to the room I was getting ready in. When we did the sparkler send off, tapatio was supposed to be in charge of lighting the sparklers, yet we couldn't find anyone- again Mallorye was nowhere to be found. I think another event got scheduled in their conference room short notice and that event seemed to take precedence, even though we booked months and months in advance. My mother in law was pretty disappointed with the staff/management. All in all, it's a beautiful place and that's what makes this place sell, not the staff- it is gorgeous!
