  While venue shopping, I found this venue at a bridal expo. Coincidentally, my cousin got married there as well. I got a first hand look of what a wedding reception would be like before I get married here. The flow of the reception was perfect. The quality of Service with Gary and Jennie is excellent. They are hassle free and very patient will all my concerns. They respond almost immediately according to their posted office hours. They keep everything professional and friendly. I appreciate how they are flexible with a budget and they are upfront about all fees. They do not have hidden fees or silly fees like cake cutting or dj set up like a lot of venue places.

  I can't say enough good things about The Ballroom at Schindel-Rohrer, and how amazing it was to work with Gary & Jennie. The facility itself if beautiful, with a space on the upper level for the ceremony and reception, and a cocktail hour space downstairs at AVA Lounge, which is stunning as well. Gary and Jennie we so accommodating and understanding of everything we wanted and dreamed of for our big day. They worked with us on so many different things, and always had a solution of whatever 'problem' popped up. Chef Jay, who does all the Catering, was great as well. He was so laid back and willing to redo our menu, multiple tastings, etc., because we kept changing our minds and were having trouble deciding on what we wanted. His food is great, and the service and staff at our wedding were wonderful, fast and courteous.
  
  They are totally flexible, and willing to work with people on making their big day exactly how they want. They are kind, caring, and just down to earth good people. Most venues are very rigid and strict about timing, set up, decorations, etc., however at The Ballroom, that was not at all the case. They were open to working with all of our vendors and coordinating with them for day of execution, so that everything went off without a hitch.
  
  We were more than happy with our big day turned out, and I would 110%, and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding space, event, party, etc. I hope to work with them again one day, and feel like The Ballroom was not just a venue, with event coordinators, they became friends of ours and felt like family, as we said our goodbyes.

  Gary & Jennie were amazing! They were so helpful & responsive and also shared ideas from previous weddings/events.
  
  The venue was absolutely beautiful and everything went perfectly on our wedding day!! We were a little nervous because the ballroom is more rectangular/long than square, but there was plenty of space for all of our guests (approx. 140) to enjoy the wedding! My husband and I were on a tight budget, but we lucked out with this amazing place!
  
  For cocktail hour, guests went down to the AVA lounge. There was plenty of space for our guests to sit & stand. Unfortunately, it was raining so our guests couldn't enjoy the cute patio area outside. We were so excited for guests to enjoy the space outside - also a perfect place for pictures with the cute exterior, but it was still all so wonderful!
  
  For our reception, we had to use their in-house caterer, but it was perfect because it made it easier on us. (We didn't need to find outside caterers!). Our guests loved the food and everything about our wedding! Also, since we spent a lot less than other venues, we were able to spend more on alcohol for our guests! ;)

  Great service and a great value. Honestly, I have married off 3 daughters and seen a lot of venues. You will not get more or better for your money. Easy to work with, professional and couldn't have been more flexible or accommodating with set up, tear down, etc... The food is catered from the restaurant downstairs and everyone loved it.

  The venue could not have been more beautiful and all of the assistance from Jennie and Gary could not have been any better. They were amazing to work with throughout the whole process. If you decide to go with a cocktail hour, AVA lounge makes the perfect location. There is a great outdoor space that our guests loved. After the wedding, I got so many compliments about the venue.   We loved using this unique venue for our wedding ceremony and reception! The rental price includes many things other places will nickel and dime you for such as linens, bartending service, place settings, etc. The setting was unique and different from the usual country club or barn location. So many neat pictures to be taken there and around downtown. Gary and Jenny were responsive and friendly and very flexible. The food from 28 South was out of this world too!! Loved having our wedding here and would do it again in a second!
  
  Two tiny pieces of feedback....I wish it would have been clarified that the address to the parking garage was not able to be located on GPS. This caused a lot of confusion for my guests.

  Gary And Jenny were both very accommodating and polite in every aspect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our Big Day!

  I would highly recommend this venue. It is very well priced and the staff are very responsive. Gary and Jennie were very helpful and made our wedding day perfect. The catering from 28 South was excellent. We received many compliments about the meal and the venue.

I was instantly interested in learning more about their services after visiting Wedding Wire and their website. I made a cold call and to my surprise felt a connection after talking to Gary (one of the owners and coordinators at Schindel-Rohrer). My fiancé and I met with Gary and Jennie and knew this was the place! We planned our wedding in less than 2 months. Gary and Jennie were very knowledgeable about wedding planning and provided my fiancé and I with such ease that we did not get stressed out during the planning process. :) Overall, the venue was affordable and the food was delicious! Gary and Jennie were a delight to work with and their customer service is exceptional! If my fiancé and I had to do it all over again - we would still have the wedding at The Ballroom at Schindel-Rohrer. We highly recommend this wedding and reception venue.

More importantly, they took care of every little detail and on my wedding day they handled every issue or question perfectly without having to ask me! Talk about stress relief! The food provided by 28 South was delicious! I've had all positive comments from my guests about how delicious their dinner was! I can't say enough good things. Book them already!

  I don't think it can be put into words how awesome this place is! The room itself has so much character you barely need to decorate, but the staff is so accommodating and literally make it a dream come true for your event! We are beyond satisfied and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a venue!!

We had to leave for our rehearsal dinner and were told that we were could not come back to finish decorating afterwards. That definitely added some stress. Luckily, I had some family members who were willing to help finish decorating the morning of my wedding.
