I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The event space was beautiful. All of my family and friends raved that it was the best, most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. I would choose Lantern Court 10x over and plan on recommending it to all future friends for their weddings.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Lantern Court Estate at Holden Arboretum on 8/17/19. Our wedding day was flawless, all thanks to the fabulous venue and staff. From the beginning of our wedding planning, Shannon was responsive, detail oriented, and organized. Every detail was covered with Shannon and the caterer in a meeting prior to the wedding to ensure the day was arranged according to our wishes. In addition, we had a rehearsal on site the day before our wedding coordinated by Holden Arboretum’s staff who were also present on the wedding day to review final details. Our plan was then executed perfectly by Nicole and the rest of Holden Arboretum’s staff which resulted in a perfect wedding day.
The grounds and inside of the estate are beautiful. Lantern Court Estate has a classic, vintage, natural feel, which requires minimal decoration. Our pictures came out beautifully due to the amount of greenery and flowers everywhere. Having everything on site for the entire day (wedding suite for getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) all in one place made the day easy for ourselves and the guests. We were able to rent the entire estate and grounds for 10 hours, so everyone had access to the estate the whole day. Also, Holden Arboretum provides a preferred list of vendors who do weddings at Lantern Court Estate frequently, so that made who we chose for catering, music, tenting etc. an easy decision and made planning smoother as they were familiar with the site.
Overall, we could not have chosen a better site for a wedding than The Lantern Court Estate at Holden Arboretum. The ease of planning due to the professional, organized, fabulous staff combined with the beauty of the estate made for a worry free, perfect day, and we have zero complaints. We would recommend without hesitation having a wedding or event here and were thrilled with our decision to get married at Lantern Court Estate.

Lantern Court @ Holden Arboretum is a stunning location from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. It's beautiful!!! The grounds are gorgeous and the house is a really special location. The events team there is also amazing--incredibly organized, thoughtful, and responsive. They are attentive to detail and communicative; they also coordinated with all of our vendors to make the day run smoothly from beginning to end.

Lantern Court is not only spectacularly beautiful, it is organized in such a way that guests smoothly transition from one picturesque space to another as the day proceeds from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and dancing--it's the perfect all-in-one venue.

Having our ceremony AND reception at Holden Arboretum's Lantern Court estate was the best decision we made. We had under 70 people, which is perfect because the venue is better fit for smaller guest lists. Their list of approved/regular vendors was so helpful and we used a few of them since they were already familiar with the location. Any questions we had in the process were quickly addressed with genuine concern. In person, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and shared in our enthusiasm for our big day. Shannon and Nicole were like family by the end and we felt so grateful to have them guide us through everything - it was just about seamless. I'm glad we didn't have an additional wedding coordinator or planner because they did SO much to assist us. Check out this venue - it's beautifully nestled in nature and wonderfully maintained.

My wife and I have been members of Holden Arboretum for a while and so it was a no brainer for use to inquire about having our wedding there. Shannon Bradick was our main contact for everything and was so helpful and very accommodating to our requests. Nicole was the coordinator during the actual wedding/reception and helped get everyone to where they needed to be. Everything went off without a hitch and all of our guests couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful the venue was.

Loved every minute of our wedding and Shannon made everything so easy for us!

We had our wedding at Lantern Court, the mansion that is part of Holden. We are so happy that we did! Great prices, extremely flexible and an extremely nice staff. We had such a great experience working with them. And it is a great place, it's beautiful, someone secluded and intimate and an interesting place for guests to explore. The set up is fantastic, I definitely suggest renting the whole property so guest can explore freely. The volunteers make jam in the kitchen there to sell in the gift shop in the main property - we decided to purchase them for favors. Our guests loved them, and they come in a pretty jar. I am so happy we went with this venue. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter was married at Lantern Court at Holden Aboretum. The venue holds about 80 people. It is a beautiful setting with an amazing event planner. Everyone worked really hard to make the event successful.

Carri-an was extremely helpful in booking our time for our wedding photos. She met with my husband and I and was very professional, gave us the different gardens that were available and answered all of our questions. When the day of our wedding came and we went to take some photos, the flowers were in full bloom and everything was just as I pictured it (we met with her in October).

I cannot say enough about Carri-an and her staff at the Holden Arboretum. We had our reception in the Butterfly Garden/Visitors Center, and she was terrific to work with from the beginning. Carri-an genuinely enjoys planning and assisting in weddings, and it shows in the quality of her work and service.

Compared to other venues, the Holden is not only the most beautiful, but also a great value. I'd highly recommend it, and wish I still lived nearby to visit regularly!

Perfect for our wedding. All of our guests enjoyed the ceremony overlooking the butterfly garden. And our photos came out beautifully.

We had a great experience with Holden. Our wedding was held behind the visitor center, and the garden was beautiful. Reception inside was fantastic as well. The event coordinator was replaced while we were planning our wedding, and OH MY GOSH what a wonderful difference it made! The previous coordinator took way too long to respond to calls and emails. The current coordinator is awesome - she is on top of things and able to get back to the families quickly with any question at all. The venue was beautiful, the service was great - I'm very glad we chose Holden!

Our ceremony and reception were at Lantern Court/Holden Arboretum and I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Gorgeous venue, wonderful personnel. You do have to rent everything but if you want your day to be your own - this is the way to go!

This venue is absolutely beautiful and magical. They were very easy to work with. If you join as a member for $40, you get 20 percent off of the venue rental so we saved $200. I thought the value was good for the cost. The staff was friendly and accommodating. At times, it may take the event coordinator a few days to return your call or e-mails as they have many events taking place. If you can be patient, I assure you she will get back to you and all details will be handled.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Holden Arboretum-Lantern Court 6/15/18. It was a prefect venue for cocktails and dinner. The weather cooperated. Although even if it does rain, indoor space is available. The gardens and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Great opportunities for pictures.
Lantern Court is well maintained and allowed us to take advantage of both indoor and outdoor seating. We had cocktails on the patio and our dinner was served indoor. I felt like I was entertaining in an English garden. Our guests raved about the venue and did not want to leave.
The staff was very accommodating. Shannon was easy to work with. She responded quickly to my questions. All rental information is available at website. I wanted something different for my son’s rehearsal dinner and this was a great choice.

This venue is very beautiful and I love the historic aspect about it. The gardens are gorgeous and the house is beautiful for the reception.

The staff that wotk the wedding are very friendly and do a great job;however, some of the other staff dont seem to appreciate the fact that though they may plan/book many weddings this is your wedding and is exciting and personal for you. They approach you with a cold business like behavior but overall do a good job.

I loved the venue more than words can say. We had everything at Lantern Court that is within the Arboretum, it's tucked away from everything as it was the summer home of the Corning family (wealthy banker from before the 1950's). The venue itself is gorgeous, I felt like a princess!! The staff were all very helpful and the planning process was pretty seamless. the only issue we had was that the rental was a set number of hours and in order to use the onsite bridal salon I had already booked, we had to move up the time frame and therefore had to leave by 9pm, which was a little earlier than I would have liked. Also, the coordinator that we had for the wedding day and rehearsal seemed a bit frazzled and even came a few minutes late on the wedding day. I believe she was a replacement for a previous coordinator that we had spoken with but had since moved to a different position. Other than that everything went perfect!

They were so helpful and so flexible. I had an outdoor reception under a tent, but it was raining so they provided umbrellas and golf carts to shuttle guests from their cars. I only had to book it so far in advance to make sure their benefit didn't fall on the same weekend as my wedding (it's always in July). Even with the rain it was beautiful site. It was the perfect backdrop for our photos!

Beautiful location and setting. The only reason I didn't rate service and professionalism higher was due to the wedding coordinator. I felt she was rude. But overall a great venue!
