My attendees raved about the food and the kind, helpful service. Lisa St Germain was responsive to our questions and always replied in a timely manner with clear answers. The rooms used for the party were clean and well thought out for layout of tables, etc. Very pleased that we arrived and not a thing had to be done by us, all was layed out/arranged by the hotel staff. I shouldnt be surprised, but I was pleased that all I had to do was attend my party. Lisa really helped us think through all of the possible aspects of the event that would not have occured to us and was kind enough to allow us to set a second appointment so I could see the spaces again as we got closer to the date. She and the other staff seemed to take pride in making everything above and beyond.
Guest room was nice, however, I was surprised that I would be put in a suite that faced the pool. 2nd floor and I had to listen to the echo and noise that go with poolside, which was not requested. My daughters wedding was wonderful. Lisa St. Germaine was great to work with. I was planning the wedding from across the country and she was very helpful answering my many questions and working out all the details. All the wait staff and bartenders were friendly and efficient. We had our wedding reception at the Normandy kitchen and had a BLAST!! Lisa St Germain did a fantastic job as our coordinator. She always responded right away via email or her cell. The food was surpurb and the service very professional, everything we talked about happened as it should. The servers fed our D.J's on short notice and when it was over all the decorations were put on a table for pickup. So easy!
Lisa sat with me to go over timing for the big day and what usually is done, we got together 2 times before the event to make sure everything was thought of,--that doesn't include allllll the emails =)
Normandy has 3 beautiful rooms for events and we got to use all of them! the decor is woodsy yet classy just wait till you see the bar area!
the cost we estimated was 1000 over what actually was spent so right there "thumbs up"!!
we had 2 "wedding crashers" come into our party and they were immeditly usherd out by the staff ( nice try guys )
over all Ron and I had a great time and so did our guest!

We used the private dining room at the Normandy Kitchen for a post-wedding family dinner for 25. From the planning process through the entire event, the staff was both warm and professional, tailoring the event to our needs perfectly.

We had wonderful service with The Normandy. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. We cannot complain about anything. I heard nothing but compliments from our guests and a great time was had by all. Heidi Cerdas was very professional and yet very friendly and helpful. We love They Normandy and will continue to stay when we visit Minneapolis.

We had an overall wonderful experience with having The Normandy as our wedding reception venue and Caterer.
The coordinator Heidi was great, very organized, helpful and had great ideas.

Thank you for selecting the Normandy Inn on your recent visit to Minneapolis. We understand you were displeased with the service in our bar following the Vikings-Saints football game. The Normandy Kitchen is a favored and popular restaurant and bar in Minneapolis. You certainly noticed the very large crowd of post-game fans, and probably observed circumstances were not usual.
Evidently, in this extremely busy situation, our bartender did not offer the high level of courtesy you expect at the Normandy Inn. We apologize for running out of light beer at the end of this busy night. We hope you enjoyed one of our taps or other brands that were available. Our guest reviews are overwhelmingly positive. The Normandy Inn is one of the top rated hotels in Minneapolis. We trust you’ll always find the Normandy to be top in quality, service, and value.
