Absolutely fabulous - wouldn't change a thing!
We recently got married at Stokesay Castle and used Party Express DJs for our ceremony and reception. We couldn’t be happier with the services that Sean and Alex provided! Even before our first meeting, we were sent a comprehensive planning packet which was incredibly helpful. When we met with Sean to discuss the plan, he was professional, passionate, and very knowledgeable. He offered a lot of wonderful personal touches, including a personalized phone message and red carpet entrance into the reception after cocktail hour. His company managed the uplights throughout the space and coordinated them to the music, which guests were raving about all night. From the second the dance floor opened, it was never completely empty. At one point, my husband and I had to step out for photos and when we came back, Sean played my absolute favorite song! The timing was perfect and such a nice surprise! Our guests also made a series of odd song requests, but Sean always made sure to check with either me or my husband about which songs were appropriate, as we had agreed upon previously at our planning meeting. He and Alex were able to adjust to changes in the playlist, timing of major events, and keep the party energized and welcoming. Best Day Ever
I found out about The Party Express DJ’s through a friend and after our first conversation on the phone, I was sold! I am a very organized person so their planning guide was so beneficial for me and my, now husband, and I made a date night out of it by listening to all of our favorite songs and picking out what would be our songs and playlists for each event! We were also very late to our first meeting with Sean but he was so kind and flexible and it was such a good meeting with him! He also would check in with me about how planning was going and would always respond to me within about two hours at the latest! He also was familiar with the venue and told me what he thought was best for the setting without trying to push me to buy all of his services!
The wedding itself was the best day of my life and the party express DJ’s were a big part of it! Everyone loved them, they were funny and got a lot of people on the dance floor and so many people told me it was they’re favorite wedding! There were some things we had to change around the day of because of the amount of people that attended, but everything was communicated and nothing was a surprise and they worked with me through everything! It was a wonderful experience all around and Noah was a fantastic DJ. Couldnt be happier with the music, the professionalism and the feel he brought to our wedding. Sean and The Party Express were EXCELLENT! Sean is so easy to work with and definitely gets the party started and keeps it going. Our wedding day turned out to be rainy, windy, and cold, just overall miserable weather, but they set a great vibe and got people excited and ready to party, to where no one seemed to mind the weather at all. There were some last minute changes on our wedding day due to the weather and Sean just rolled with it and kept things moving seamlessly. Very thorough, extremely professional, yet fun. I’ve had multiple people tell me, days after our wedding, “it was a blast!” and how much fun they had. Highly recommend.Sean and The Party Express were EXCELLENT! We always try to do our best to push through adverse conditions to make sure you still have the optimal experience. He was always on top of things from the moment we met up until my special day! I like to say I have a very interesting range in my music tastes, and Sean nailed the selection that was played throughout the night.

Professional reliable DJ experience
When I set out planning my wedding there was 0 doubt in my mind I wanted Sean Shipper and the Party Express DJs to be my disc jockey and MC for the night. Working with Sean prior to the wedding day is easy. I wasn’t over sold products or capabilities. He made suggestions he knew would work in my venue and even persuaded me to leave some options out because he knew additional lighting just wouldn’t work at my venue and time of the year I was getting married. We had a consultation where we discussed the wedding planner and he sent us an email the next day with things we may want to take a second look at or items we missed in the planner. The day of the wedding Sean arrived early greeted me and went right to work setting up. He was done in plenty of time for my ceremony and helped keep us on time. I originally told him I don’t think anyone will dance, and i made sure to give him plenty of space to choose songs he thought may work by reading the crowd. That decision to let him do his job without my hand cuffing him made a huge difference. People danced all night long to his music choices. When I went to tip him at the end of the night he tried to decline fat chance of that happening Sean… he earned every cent of his tip. My wife and I talked there’s a reason we choose Sean and our other vendors for our day. Professional vendors charging professional rates took care of any issues that may have happened without us knowing. Our entire day ran smoothly with no issues, why because of professionals like Sean. I would recommend this DJ!
The Party Express was a great DJ service and the owner was very friendly to work with. He made our birthday party fun and communicated with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy. I hired the Party Express DJ's for my wedding. Sean is so nice and so easy to work with. He replied to my emails quickly and made the music part of the wedding planning easy. My guests gave me several compliments. My favorite comment was, 'you know you hired a good DJ when they can get sober people on the dance floor.' Amazing DJ!!!!!!!!!
Sean was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were looking for DJ for our daughter's sweet 16th birthday party, and from the first phone call, throughout the process and the follow up after the event was nothing but professionalism. Sean thought of every detail and the communication/follow up was outstanding. The music, lights and quality of the equipment was fantastic. It is not easy feat to entertain 16-year-olds, but he did it, all of the teens had a blast and danced night away. You can count on Sean and know that every detail will be taken care of. Sean was great! Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive when I had questions and always pleasant to talk to. During our pre-wedding meeting, he spent the time we needed to go over every detail to make sure our night was perfect. He also sent a detailed questionnaire that allowed us to plan every aspect of the evening. He communicated effectively with our other vendors and sent a timeline months before. Truly his organization helped us stay organized! Our guests had a blast and he played every song that we had requested. We also spontaneously played the Phillies World Series game during the reception and he played a baseball song on the spot that got everyone excited! He is a great dj and he reads the room very well!
