My sister and her husband actually hired Colin and the band for their wedding 5 years ago, and they did such a great job we decided to hire them for ours. The did such an outstanding job, and were great about helping us decide on how to coordinate the flow of the evening (introductions, first dances, cake cutting, etc.). They were able to learn the song we wanted to do for our first dance in an acoustic version, and also were able to add some last minute requests the night of the wedding. They were very professional and have such an amazing energy. I actually had one of my guests ask me if they travel to Nashville for her daughters wedding as she was so impressed on the musical selections they made and the job they did. I would absolutely recommend hiring Think Big for your big event!

Thanks, Sonya! The Potts family has been terrific to work with and we are honored to have the opportunity to perform on your most important day. We hope to see the entire family again at a future function!

Hiring Think Big was the best choice we made for our wedding! They are fantastic musicians and always professional. They really knew how to get the party going! Many of our guests commented they were the best band they'd ever heard. They are an absolute must for any event where you want to get people dancing!

    They bring the party!

This band is so much fun! They were fabulous at our wedding and played classics across all genres that got the entire crowd involved with dancing and singing. We couldn't have asked for anything more than to get everyone on the dancefloor and they did that. We had a few recorded songs we used throughout the reception and they played the perfect songs at the exact cues we asked for. Couldn't have done any better. They also played my sister's wedding and my grandparents' 50th anniversary party - three times in a row, all great parties!

    Really bad band!

They played loudly. Several guests at my daughter’s wedding told them to turn down the volume. They didn’t . Many guests left or stayed outside the hall they were playing in because the music was JUST TOO LOUD.
In the end they ruined my daughter’s wedding.
Think BIG before you hire them,

    Think Big's reply:

    Dear Mr. D'Cruz:

Thank you for your comments, and I am truly sorry that you were disappointed in our services. I'm sure it seemed loud to you, but I tried to explain several times that the acoustics of the room were difficult to contend with. There were high ceilings, no wall coverings and hard surface floors - none of which absorb any sound. In addition, we completely turned off the main speakers that faced the audience and played the entire night with only the stage monitors. We did attempt to play at a reasonable volume, but the room did not lend itself to a "quiet" wedding.

I'm also sorry that you felt that we "ruined" your daughter's wedding. I think it would be a good idea for you to ask your daughter if this was truly the case. She danced until the very last song, and thanked us profusely at the end of the evening. In fact, I received more than two dozen compliments from guests of all ages.

In addition to doing our best to keep the volume at a reasonable level, the band also performed multiple favors to the family in order to make it a memorable evening. First, during the ceremony, another musician hired by your family was supposed to sing "Waitin' On A Woman' during the procession. Just days before the event, the artist asked if I would sing it due to the fact he did not know the song and didn't have time to learn it. I sang the song in his place. Furthermore, Think Big accommodated 6 guests singers/artists at the request of the family to sing with the band. In most cases, we had to learn the songs that the individuals could sing. Most bands would not be willing to do half as much.

Again, I am truly sorry you were disappointed with our services and performance and we wish you and your family the very best!

    Most Sincerely,

    Colin Findley
