    My caterer, La-Tea-das used a Tizzerts cake for my wedding and it was awesome. I went in to try their cake before hand and they had a good selection and they were very helpful. I also ordered boston cream pie, carrot cake, salted caramel, and lemon cupcakes. Its was all a huge success everyone loved it all.

    Tiz and her amazing team of bakers and decorators really out did themselves on our wedding cake. The buttercream frosting was by far the best part. The cake layers were moist and full of flavor, even after a 2 hour ride to Asheville! Our tasting experience was wonderful as well. Tiz provided multiple notebooks with different ideas and was very receptive when we described our vision. I could not have asked for a better experience or cake.

    Ordered a small wedding cake on line for my daughter. I live in PA and the cake was delivered to the Charlotte area. The cake was absolutely beautiful just as the website displayed. Not only was the cake decorated beautiful but, the cake was delicious. I could not have been more pleased with the service and professionalism I received from the staff at Tizzerts. Will definitely order from Tizzerts again.

    Tiz at Tizzerts was awsome!!! The cake was beyond beautiful and totally delightful. There were SO many cakes to choose from i couldnt decide and she allowed me to create my own cake design by combining the thems of two cakes that i liked to make my custom cake! i would strongly recomed this vendor; they will work with you on pricing/times/delievery options! and just for the record the strawberry cream cheese cake is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In 2006, being new to the Charlotte area, I had never heard of Tizzert's until a friend so graciously offered to purchase our wedding cake as a wedding gift. Prior to our wedding, I had either purchased or tasted many "professionally made" cakes that were gorgeous but either lacking in taste or texture so I wasn't exactly expecting a stellar experience. I couldn't have been more wrong.

    Our Tizzert's cake was not only beautiful, it was also the very best cake I'd ever had (including my two years at Johnson & Wales as a bakery/pastry student). Our chocolate ganache cake was moist and flavorful with that fresh "I was just baked today" texture, and was crowned with fantastic frosting that actually tasted of something other than pure sugar.

    In the six, nearly seven years since, Tizzert's has baked all of our special event cakes, including birthdays, friend's weddings, anniversaries, going away parties, etc. There simply is no better cake, nor more professional band of bakers than those at Tizzert's. Highly recommended without a single reservation. Worth every single penny.

    We sampled about 5-6 cake places and both my husband and I agreed that this was the best tasting cake. Additionally, they have a HUGE selection of not just "pictures of cakes" but pictures of cakes that they have done...and ours was absolutely beautiful. I have now orders two post-wedding cakes from them for parties. I am a huge fan! The owner's nick name is "Tiz" which is part of the name.

    I threw a slight curveball at Tiz a few weeks before the wedding when I decided to totally change the colors and design of the cake. After a couple e-mails and phone calls back and forth about it, I set up a meeting with the decorator, Anita, so we could get the colors nailed down.

    Art and color theory are definitely not my strong suit, so I appreciated Anita taking the time to educate me a little on things like undertones and contrast. She worked with me to find the right colors to get just the look I wanted. Our cake was gorgeous, and just as importantly, freaking delicious. I have dreams about the Tizzerts buttercream. So good.

    Tizzerts was absolutely fantastic, and I would highly recommend them to anyone for cake services. The cake was truly more beautiful than I could have imagined, and it was delicious! We met with Tiz for our cake tasting and she is the nicest woman you could work with! The only slight hiccup with the service was that we brought our cake topper to the store a few days before the wedding, and it was placed on a wrong shelf by an employee and so ended up not being used on our cake at the reception. Instead there were several fresh flowers as the topper, arranged beautifully, and it still looked amazing. Tiz was so apologetic about the error and will be refunding us for the cost of the topper. I recommend bringing in the topper at least a week before the wedding so you can follow up and make sure they have it and it's ready to go! In the big scheme of things, its not a big deal and I was more than pleased with the cake itself. You certainly won't be disappointed with a Tizzerts cake!

    Tizzerts made the wedding cake for my son's wedding, and it was not only pretty, but without a doubt the best cake I've ever eaten in my life. All the guests had second helpings and talked about it after the wedding.

    I had a cake made here for my wedding. Since my wedding was such a small one I picked on of their 'regular' cakes and not a 'wedding' cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. I will order from them again for other type of celebrations in the future when we visit Charlotte area to see family.

    Our cake that we ordered from Tizzerts was wonderful! It had a wonderful flavor and looked beautiful although it was a bit pricey! I'm hoping for another occassion that will allow me to order another cake soon!

    Horrible and unprofessional

    Was force to pay order in full when I ordered 3 weeks in advance. Picked up cake and I was the wrong color. I requested a green cake. I received a purple cake and was told that I never specified a certain color.. The writing on the cake was awful and sloppy. Obvious mistakes were made on the to of the cake and the vendor still a this sad looking cake to me. I sent the owner emails I had which proved I did request a green cake. Quality was bad and unprofessional. This cake was for my best friend and she told me to get a refund and was embarrassed
