Aimee was wonderful. She made my husband and my wedding so much more than we ever imagined it would be. All the vendors she recommended came through above and beyond just like her. I don't think we would have survived the planning process with out her. She really made our day something special to remember.

Overall Aimee made our wedding planning and execution process exponentially easier than it could have been if we did it ourselves. And for the rate she charged, we thought she provided a great amount of service. Our wedding was outdoors in the country so we had to make arrangements for EVERYTHING, which included a giant circus tent. Well, Aimee took charge and made sure everything was executed flawlessly. She made the whole process so much easier!! She was a god-send. STRONGLY recommend hiring her, especially if you are planning an unconventional, outdoor event!

Where do I start!! Aimee was the best decision that I made with my wedding. I got the partial planning, and she went so above and beyond for me. I had 3 months to plan, and Aimee didn't even hesitate to get on board with that!! We had a 200 person wedding, and I could not have felt more comfortable or ready for the event with Aimee by my side. All of my friends said I was the most easy going, relaxed bride on my wedding day and I have her to thank for this! She had the best advice from vendors, to creative ideas, to food varities, to ettiquite. Not only that but she was so sweet, easy to work with, friendly yet serious about her work. She was so on top of the entire process.. She thought of things I wouldn't have ever thought of! I was always told to get a wedding planner, and I could not have imagined having anyone but her. Would recommend her 100 times over!!

Thanks to Aimee my daughters wedding was perfect! Aimee made the entire wedding planning process a dream. She came up with many wonderful ideas from decorating the ceremony/reception space, room layout, floral pieces, and so many small details that made the day unique and special. My daughter wanted a unique wedding. and thanks to Aimee she got it! I can't imagine not having Aimee involved, especially on the day of the wedding. She had to coordinate not only the bridal party but the many many vendors! Our entire family had such a stress free day (when the bride and MOB are relaxed you know everything is going great). She even stayed very very late after the reception was over trying to find a missing chair so that I would not be charged extra, which she did find a few days later! I could not have chosen a better person to help plan my daughters wedding! Thanks Aimee!!!

I had True Wedding Events do a full planning for my wedding. I got engaged in February 2012 and hired Aimee in March, with a wedding date of May 2013. So basically I had her from the beginning of my engagement and thank goodness. I was clueless, as most first time brides are, and Aimee was a great resource for wedding etiquette. All the vendors she recommended to me were great and everywhere I went other vendors kept telling me how great she was (which was very reassuring). She is very honest and doesn't beat around the bush, which I really appreciate, especially in stressful times. Her real skill, though, is her vision and great sense for decor. My wedding was absolutely GORGEOUS and she incorporated all the things I envisioned but a lot better than I could ever have. She even strung together the 1000 paper cranes I had made for the wedding- that is a LOT of cranes! The wedding day went flawlessly (as far as I could tell, but I'm sure she worked her butt off). I received so many compliments on how pretty everything was, and my husband and I were VERY happy with how the entire day turned out. I definitely recommend True Wedding Events for wedding planning. You will not be disappointed!

I worked with Aimee on my April 2013 wedding. We met with Aimee in September of 2012 and immediately hired her as a month of wedding planner/coordinator.
As an Interior Designer I had a little idea of what I wanted things to looks like but like most brides I had never planned a huge party let alone a wedding. Aimee was there to answer questions, provide ideas and guidance all along the way but her most important role came as we got closer to the wedding. She literally SAVED me from becoming a bridezilla!! She coordinated the rehearsal, helped me organize my contracts and deliveries with multiple vendors as well as general design and coordination. Aimee created a schedule for the Day of the wedding down to when I would be getting my hair done and when the groomsmen should be putting on their suspenders.
When it came down to the wedding day we didn't have to do a thing. Aimee and her team made sure that everything was set up how we envisioned and truly made the day stress free!! I cant stop telling my friends and family how great she was and how she made our day perfect!

As mother of the bride and a professional interior designer for 35 years,
I knew we needed someone to be our "day of coordinator". Aimee was much more than that for our wedding. My daughter lives out of the country, so Aimee and I worked very closely and extremely well together until she could arrive and be involved the last couple of weeks. Aimee is professional, efficient and responsive, and very creative. The wedding was just what we were hoping for, and it couldn't have been as successful without her. I am already recommending her to friends, she exceeded our expectations.

As a bride that lives very far away in Australia, it was difficult to plan a wedding in the US with such distance. Aimee worked very closely with my mother to help plan and execute a wedding that was beyond my wildest expectations. She was absolutely excellent, and I would recommend her to all of my closest family and friends. Friendly, professional, incredibly organised and responsive as well as creative and took initiative to think outside the box for any problem solving. It was perfect. Thank you Aimee!

Whenever my friends get engaged and ask for advice, the first thing out of my mouth is "Hire Aimee!" I'm really not sure how anyone plans a wedding without someone like her. Everything was perfect and ran as smooth as any bride could ever imagine. Even when someone spilled a glass of red wine all over my dress within 10 minutes of cocktail hour (yes that actually happened) Aimee was right there by my side with someone on hand that literally got rid of the stain almost instantaneously. We got one of her middle-packages but felt that she did so much more than that - she went totally above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and that the pre-wedding stress was minimal (almost non-existant). I will also say this, and I feel that most brides can relate - there are times when you feel like no one is on your side or that no one has your back. As the bride, Aimee was ALWAYS on my side no matter what. It was great to know I had someone like her to turn to!! Hiring her was the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process.

I started getting stressed at all of the wedding details and immediately knew that I had to find someone just as or more detailed than myself to coordinate the wedding! I found Aimee while reviewing all of the great reviews of her past clients on weddingwire and from the first time I contacted her and met her, i knew that I was making the right decision! Aimee is very nice and makes sure she knows exactly how you want your day to be. She is super responsive via email and phone and she made me feel at ease! Her attention to detail is awesome and she even made lots of suggestions on things that I had never even thought about or considered. She made sure the rehearsal went smoothly even with the ring bearer and flower girl running around and with family members all over the place! On wedding day, she made sure she let me know if she needed anything and followed the timeline we put together to a T. She was great at contacting my vendors to make sure everyone was there on time. The wedding day went smoothly and was exactly how I imagined thanks to Aimee. I would definitely recommend her services. You will not be disappointed! :)

True Wedding Events performed at the highest level. Aimee is a true professional and pleasure with whom to work. She met and often exceeded our expectations. The amount of detail that Aimee and her assistant put into our daughter's wedding was outstanding and everything she/we wanted and more. Every time we see someone that was at the wedding, they cannot stop talking about the evening. We have heard that it was the best wedding they have attended or that you sure have set the bar high. True Wedding Events recommended vendors who were of the highest quality and performed top level service. We would highly recommend True Wedding Events. Magic! It was simply magic. Dan and I have been together many years now, we both have fulltime jobs and responsibilities that take us every which way, and all of our family live in other states, so we knew we couldn’t do this on our own. We weren’t sure what to expect when we started with Aimee but from the first, she took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. She not only listened to our half-formed ideas of what we might like, but helped us bring them into focus and suggested ways to enhance them. We have a lot of interests and she was able to pull everything together into a cohesive picture, it all combined beautifully. She suggested vendors that we were very, very happy with, and helped us check out and hire the ones we found on our own. She helped us stay on time and on budget. All the way through the process she was great, but she was absolutely phenomenal on the day of. Dan and I just so happened to choose the record-breaking hottest day of the year for the wedding. Our ceremony was outside! No problem for Aimee, she found another area of the property that was completely shaded by large, lovely trees. And that was just the first of so many things. We worried about absolutely nothing. Aimee took care of us and all of our guests. She made little and big decisions all day and Dan and I never had one “oh no!” moment. We LOVED our wedding! It was so US! We were surrounded by the things, the themes, the colors, the people we loved, and we ENJOYED every second, we had so much fun. All of our family and friends have raved about the wedding; how beautiful it was, how much in love we looked, how smoothly it all went. I think the most telling comment was from a good friend of mine. She said, “You were so beautiful, and absolutely the most calm bride I have ever seen.” Thank you so much Aimee! Dan and I have tried to put our feelings into words above but it falls far, far short of the gift you gave us; a perfect day, a perfect memory.

Aimee proved absolutely invaluable while planning my daughter's wedding. I don't know what we would have done without her. From the early planning to the day of the wedding, she was always the complete professional with considerable knowledge and experience, but also so enjoyable and fun to work with.

Aimee has contacts with a large number of vendors and is able to make suggestions and recommendations based on this expertise. She also has a wonderful sense of style and taste and is quite creative. She even wrote the poem for my daughter's ceremony program!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after hiring Aimee and underwent numerous treatments and surgeries during the year we planned the wedding. I also continued to work during this time. It would have been impossible for me to accomplish all that is involved with not only planning a wedding, but making it a truly special event, without Aimee's assistance. She was always available and went out of her way to make it easier for me; once even bringing all the linen and china selections to my home so that I wouldn't have to travel to various locations around DC.

I had been told that planning a wedding was going to be very stressful and could sometimes lead to a few problems between mother and daughter! With Aimee's help, my daughter and I truly had a wonderful year of planning and a lot of fun, even with my condition. Although Aimee was working on weddings for several brides, she always made us feel that we were her only clients and that she would be available whenever we needed to speak with her or arrange meetings. Aimee was there to guide us through every phase; providing suggestions, timelines, and doing all the busywork.

On the day of the wedding, I was able to sit back and thoroughly enjoy my daughter's beautiful celebration. Aimee had everything perfectly orchestrated; from the caterer, the flowers, the tent, the music, the decor to all the special touches she had added. Everything was perfect. Aimee is the ideal wedding planner. I would highly recommend her to any bride and mother of the bride.

Aimee was the perfect wedding planner. We planned the wedding for over a year and it turned out to be more than I could ever imagine. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of the planning. Aimee worked around her schedule and took on a great deal of the planning so that my mother could recover. She found the best vendors and kept in contact for us. She was always available for discussion and kept our vision of the wedding and made it even more magical. She made sure to keep in contact with us and organized face-to-face meetings with design boards. I would recommend Aimee to anyone planning a wedding. She made sure that we had no stress and when the big day arrived, I was so happy we had her to keep everything organized and running smoothly.

We truly could not have done it without Aimee. Everything was just perfect, went off without a hitch and it truly was the best day! Aimee was AMAZING!! There is no way I would have made it through wedding planning with out her. She is so organized and creative. It was a huge help having her recommendations and advice, I ended up using every vendor she recommended and I was SO happy with every one! Aimee is also very creative and had great ideas for the ceremony and reception and really helped give my wedding a wonderful overall "feel".

I wasn't worried about anything on the day of the wedding thanks to her.

I am so sorry it has taken me a bit to get this to you, but I just had to find the right words to say about you and the beautiful wedding you helped create. We wish we could give you 6 stars in every category because giving you only 5 stars makes us feel like we are under rating you! You went above and beyond!!

Aimee, no matter what I say or write, no amount of words can express the wonderful, incredible and amazing job you did to put our wedding together. You would think that somebody who has been with her college sweetheart for 14 years, who eloped 5 years back and who has 2 wonderful children would expect an average wedding and wouldn’t mind or pay much attention to the feelings her actual ceremony would bring. Aimee it was because of you, that on my actual wedding day, I felt as if I was walking on clouds; I can honestly say your slogan of “Your love...Your story” was synonym with how we felt. For the first time in my life, I felt I was a princess; I was the actual Cinderella walking down the aisle with her prince. Every step I took, every color you helped pick, every design detail, every idea and the worry free handling of vendors by you, made it so that I could finally have the wedding that I always wished for. The way you suggested we include both our children at being part of this wedding was amazing, I can tell you that my 5 year old daughter will remember this day for life. My wedding has left such a great and important image in her mind that I can only hope to top it off when her day comes.

Aimee you were more than a wedding planner, you became our friend, our guide and the one person whom we felt truly supported and understood by in such a time. It has been almost 2 months now since our wedding and we are still receiving compliments from our guest telling us that this was absolutely the best wedding they have ever attended. Furthermore they all mention how much they feel that our wedding planner went above and beyond to make it so memorable for all.

When it comes to my wedding, Aimee was the best decision I made. I was quite resistant to hiring a wedding planner as I was under the assumption that I could handle everything on my own, but boy was I wrong. Aimee though of options and scenarios that I never even considered. She was so thorough with double checking all of my work and went through all my contracts with such precision. She double and triple checked with all vendors and left no room for error. She had back up plans in mind in case anything did go wrong. Then on the day of she was such a savior. She was all the places I could not be, and she knew when to make executive decisions and when to call me with questions. She did not bother me with little details but at the same time she knew which details needed my attention. With the amount of work, detail, and precision Aimee exhibited, you would have thought this was her very own wedding. I was amazed at her expertise in this field, and with the professionalism and effort that she demonstrated. I would highly recommend Aimee for any event.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding thanks to the outstanding service provided by Aimee Hardenbergh of True Wedding Events!! My fiancé and I were living in New York with plans to marry in Washington DC. Aimee helped ease our stress of planning an out of state wedding in just four short months. She was always accessible via phone and email whenever I needed her and always went above and beyond during our entire planning process. Aimee kept us on a timeline, listened to and understood our vision and was always ready with creative suggestions to ensure our wedding really represented us. Aimee thoroughly reviewed of all of our contracts to make sure we were getting what we wanted and were staying within budget. Aimee was always available to accompany me to meetings with the florist, the food tasting, hotel site visits and many meetings the hotel coordinator right up to the final walk through. There was so much that I could not have handled without her direction and guidance! Most invaluable was having Aimee there for us on the day of the wedding. She was our eyes and ears behind the scenes and made sure everything ran like clock-work. We didn't have to think about anything; she took care of EVERYTHING! We had the most carefree, wonderful day and it is all because of Aimee Hardenberg. She is AMAZING! She helped us narrow down our focus for the wedding so it truly was a day that represented "us". Aimee also had great suggestions for photos, decorations, food- she literally thought of everything! When my MOH accidently cut her finger while buttoning my wedding dress, Aimee swooped in like an angel, got the blood stain out and finished the buttons without a minute to spare!
