    Our event manager was Joey Allen. She was amazing!! She helped us with everything. There are some things that we sometimes never thought of (or had a hard time deciding) but she guided us and gave us options all throughout our planning period. During our wedding, she was there to ensure that everything will be great. Everyone had a great time during our reception. The staff were very nice and very attentive to everyone's needs. We highly recommend Tysons Corner Marriott for your venue.

    I highly recommend the Tyson's Corner Marriott for your venue for your special day! Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful (and very patient, as I was indecisive with some things). Lilly was our Event Manager and she was amazing! She was extremely resonsive-always called me back immediately if I hadn't gotten ahold of her. She listened to all of my ideas and made all of them become reality! On my special day, ALL of the staff were incredibly helpful - I could not have asked for better service!

    The event planning team of Tysons Corner Marriott is top-notch. We met with the sales manager who went over all the details such as schedule, costs, expectations, etc. She was very helpful, answering all sorts of questions. She even compiled a list of area churches for us! They were flexible with the date of the event since we hadn't reserved the church, yet. After contracts were signed, we met with the event manager, Ann. She was fantastic. Enthusiastic, very knowledgeable. Our emailed questions were always answered in a timely manner. We were given so many wonderful choices. They really allowed us to do it the way we wanted it. They hold a private bridal showcase so we could preview the different table settings, linens, entrees, wines, hors d'oeuvres, everything. Our wedding reception was spectacular. I am a self-admitted control nut, and I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. The staff is professional and courteous. We got rave comments about how perfect it was. The package prices may be seem high compared to other venues, but it was worth every penny for me to not have to worry about the details. Ann and her team at Tysons Corner Marriott are the best.

    We were very pleased with the Marriott. We had our own event planner who was great. The day of, we had our OWN server (ie for the bride and groom). We had a wonderful reception and a great Sunday brunch. GREAT food, GREAT service, GREAT experience!

    DH and I visited several of the local Marriotts and were drawn to the friendliness of the staff at the Tyson's. With our total number of guests around 100, we were able to use the junior ballroom for the meal and dancing. We were also able to use a second space, a small conference room. In this room we were able to set-up our slide show on a continous loop and set-up our candy buffet. It was great to have a space to allow our guests to get away from the loud music and relax. The food was simply wonderful. For our reception we had a sit down dinner of either Filet Mignon or Country French Chicken, both entrees were hits with our guests. Our event coordinators, Frederike and Jen, were simply wonderful to work with. Frederike always returned my ridiculously long emails promptly and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were happy with the service that we were receiving. On the evening of, she checked in with us several times to see how everything was going and in passing we joked that we would probably be starving at the end of the evening due to the fact that we could never sit down and eat. When we retired to our suite at the end of the evening, we were greeted with two plates with sandwiches, chips and cookies. (Along with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries) She was thoughtful up until the end and I appreciate all of her help. Overall, the Tyson's Corner Marriott provided a very memorable evening for us, coupled with great service. I would highly recommend them. Grade: A+

    Tysons Corner Marriot made our dreams a reality. It was the perfect venue and Kathy was the perfect event manager! She was there from the beginning to the end making sure everything ran smoothly. The rest of the staff was very helpful and everyone helped make the day so perfect for us.

    Working with all the staffs in Tyson's Corner Marriott was great! I strongly suggest all couples check it out there.

    The only drawback is that the wedding coordinator at Marriott is not able to meet up after work hours and weekends and cause some inconvienece. Other than, everything was excellent!

    Ana and our event manager Lily, was very helpful when we had questions, or needed help with anything. We will recommend them and Marriott to our friends and family. They made our daughter's wedding well co-ordinated and a very pleasant experience for every one. Lots & lots

    I would never have an event at Tysons Corner Marriott, I would never ask anyone to stay at this hotel, and I will never stay at another Marriott again. We had to work with this hotel to set aside a block of rooms for our out of town wedding guests, and that was just the beginning of the months long nightmare. They messed up the rates, even cancelled some of our guests rooms. I would have to send multiple emails to our sales lady in order to get a response, and when I finally did, I would have to repeat information. I was definitely not confident in their ability to handle anything. On our wedding day, we had a bus come to the hotel and pick up our guests, and in order to arrange this with the hotel, it took 6 emails, and a couple trips to the hotel. When I would call or email to remind them about the bus being parked in their lot, it was like amnesia...they had no recollection and I had to repeat the details AGAIN. What a nightmare!! We also booked a brunch at this hotel. This was a little more smooth, maybe since I was dealing with the restaurant and not the hotel. The food was good, and they set up the room correctly. The only problem was the wait staff. She was slow and it took forever to get a drink.
    Their customer service is not good. They treat you bad and even tho you and your guests are paying money to stay there, they dont care. It seems like unless you are some big-wig company dropping $50k, they could give a crap if you ever come back. I expected a lot more from this company. We are extremely disappointed with them. We will never stay at another marriott again. They ruined it for us. Hello Hilton.

    Our wedding was magical and we can't have enough positive things to say about all of our other vendors, but stay away from Marriott. This was the downfall of our whole experience. We were contracted and promised the presidential suite, but then kicked out of it (without anyone notifying us in advance) because someone booked an on-site wedding on the same weekend, they treated our entire family awfully....they were supposed to have a shuttle for everyone staying to get to the venue by 3:15 and they were 30 minutes late without apologies...every complaint we made was answered with a promise to give us 10% discounts that we never received, coffee in our room, that we never received, and only a response by management after was all said and done that basically excused their behavior because "they were busy"....it was by far the worst customer experience I've ever had - business or pleasure. Truly awful...
