We used village caterers for our rehearsal dinner, they provided such an excellent food catering for us. Everything tasted so good and pasta and the sides were just right! Our guests kept asking us for more chicken too! We would also like to thank you for being so helpful in arranging everything for us as well as prompt delivery. We are so glad we chose Village Caterers!

This place may be Montgomery County's best kept secret!! My daughter's wedding (ceremony and reception) was held at Village Caterers on a Friday evening. We had the entire venue to ourselves (ceremony room, separate cocktail hour, separate bar area, and the grand ballroom) - which enabled our 180 guests to spread out and enjoy themselves. I cannot say enough about the owner, Bill and his staff. They worked with us EVERY step of the way, and our maitre'd for the day, Sue went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly - not only the week of the event, but the day of the wedding as well. She was definitely our 'best friend' of the day.
Cost - very, very reasonably priced. And one would expect 'reasonable' food -- not here. From the incredible hors'dourves to the sit down dinner, it felt and tasted like a high end event. The head Chef is to be complimented!

Decor - Bill takes pride in his 'holiday' decor. Rightly so. It was just the right touch to bring a classy sense of the holiday season to the wedding celebration. The rest of the venue's decor is nicely upkept, not out of style or outdated.

Thank you so much Bill, Sue, Lynn and the staff at Village Caterers. You made our day so special!

First, the website was great. The menu plans included prices, which really helps make an informed decision. Second, we went to the site itself. Okay the outside is not so great (there is a Quality Inn next door) but keep an open mind because once you are inside, it is fabulous. The decor is very nice and makes for a great background for pictures.

We spoke mainly with Bill, the owner and he was very flexible. It seemed that no matter the request, they were okay with it. He really made every effort to make our day run smooth. And Sue, the Maitre'D for us, was amazing. She kept us on track for the day with her easygoing yet effective instruction.

We had butlered and stationary hors d'oevres. All of our guests remarked how great the cocktail hour was. Dinner was sit down and again everyone was pleased with their meals. Finally, the cake, which was included, was also really good. This was one of the best wedding cakes I have had.

Village Caterers did a FANTASTIC job with my wedding reception. Bill Isabel (owner) was so accomodating and so reassuring with every detail. Weddings are stressful enough and Bill really made everything as stress free as possible. The catering hall is spacious and very nice inside. I agree with the reviewer below about the cocktail hour. I wasn't there since we were getting our photos, but my guests were raving about the food! The staff was great, especially the maitre d and bartender. The price was the best in the area and more than fair for what's included. I also liked that the Quality Inn is on site so no one has to drive and you don't have to worry about the hassle and expense of shuttling everyone back to a hotel. I can't say enough nice things about Village, and I'm so happy I trusted them with my day. They didn't let me down!

The food and service was excellent. I received several comments from guests that it was the best "wedding" meal they've had.

Village Caterers is great for any budget, and the ball room is beautiful. The facility is attached to a Quality Inn hotel which is run by different management. The rooms were acceptable, but not something to show off to your guests. The management at the Quality Inn did charge me full price for both nights after reassuring me that I would get one night free, and the 2nd night I would be charged what the guests were charged. This did not happen. Back to Village Caterers- the food was amazing! I still hear how excellent the food was from all my guests. The Hors D'oeuvres we absolutey delicious, and very plentiful. The guests loved them. The evening was close to perfect. The Wedding Coordinator is friendly and flexible, and he will work with your budget. The cake is part of the package, and was absolutely delicious! They decorated it beautifully with fresh pink roses (which was my theme), and put candles and roses around it. My only complaint for the whole night was the person in charge of running things (the wedding coordinator's assistant). One of my bridesmaids informed me days after the wedding that the assistant had not set up the head table as I had asked and was short for 2 people. They did fix it quickly and without my knowing- so that is a plus! Then, when we were done with our pictures and ready to be announced to the guests- the assistant was nowhere to be found. I finally beckoned my DJ to start it-- he announced us, and we danced our first dance. During our dance, the assistant storms up to me and my new husband- in front of EVERYONE, stops us, and tells us our DJ doesn't know what he is doing, and that this was not how things were done. She then proceeded to go over to the DJ and yell at him for 5 minutes. This was the only glitch- other than that, the experience at Village Caterers was wonderful!
