    Perfect sound for our ceremony

    Being a huge fan of violin and cello music, we chose Violines Galanterien's for our wedding ceremony. Prof. Mariam Baez and her team are very professional, were very responsive through e-mails, and are able to play a great amount of songs. They were very flexible and had great communication with our wedding planner. If you want to have a violin and cello for your wedding ceremony, I would highly recommend you hire Violines Galanterien for your wedding. It will feel like a symphony orchestra concert.

    We were visiting La Concha Resort (doing a bit of wedding planning last September) and heard beautiful music being played at a wedding. We went down to talk to the string quartet about playing for our wedding. They told us to email them and we did right away. As a little girl, I played the violin for 8 years so I really wanted a string quartet to play "Here comes the bride". Mariam's string quartet gave me my dream! Thank you so much for playing such beautiful music on a windy day in San Juan, Puerto Rico!Simply amazing!

    Mariam and Violines Galanterien did an excellent job with the ceremony music. My husband couldn't stop talking about what an excellent choice they were. It made all the difference hearing them play while we exchanged our vows and while the priest was speaking. Mariam and I exchanged emails back and forth and she called me the day before to make sure I was okay and we were all set. She even helped me when I told her I didn't have a planner and walked me through the timeline of events that would happen at the ceremony. I couldn't ask for a better group to play for our wedding. They are EXCELLENT!

    I knew I wanted live music for our wedding ceremony if we could afford it. While searching violinists and harp players, I came across Violines Galantarien. They have a great website that provides examples of their music (violin, chello, piano and soloist). I really appreciated the fact that they are flexible and you can choose the number of musicians according to your vision and budget. I requested a violinist and chello player and I was very happy with their performance. Mariam and I emailed back and forth months ahead of time to discuss song choices. She also called me a few days before the wedding to see if I had any last minute requests. Although we interacted mostly in Spanish, she does speak English too. Mariam and Yvette played for our wedding ceremony and then continued through the happy hour after while we took photos. They were very professional, their music was just the way I expected it to be and our guests really enjoyed it. I highly recommend Violines Galantarien!

    We hired Violines Galanterien for the ceremony and cocktail music. They were great, on time, and played all our music selections from their repertoire. As soon as I heard them playing Canon, as I was coming down the aisle, I broke down into emotional happy tears. There were several changes to our ceremony starting time, but they were very flexible to do the necessary adjustments. I highly recommend this company.

    Awesome service, the music was beautiful. They're true professionals willing to please their customers and provide a quality and talented service. The communication was constant and very good since we could keep in touch either by email or telephone. She suggested great musical pieces to play at our ceremony and I wish that someone had recorded them to relive that moment.

    My wedding was at Rincon Beach resort and I hired them to play for the ceremony and cocktail hour. All the songs played were just amazing! I highly recommend them!

    I have only wonderful things to say about Violines Galanterien, couldn't be happier with the level of service they provided. I hired a quartet for the ceremony for my destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan. They were extremely professional and timely, met with me prior to the event to go over all the details and everything was absolutely perfect. My wedding guests were vowed by the Game of Thrones Theme song they played as my bridesmaid processional. I was so thankful that the musicians not only learned a new arrangement, but played it so beautifully, they have done an amazing job! The value for the level of service they provided was absolutely incredible, I would have paid 3 times as much for the same caliber of music in Chicago. Highly recommended, my guests LOVED them!

    My husband and I had Violines Galanterien perform our ceremony music and cocktail reception, and they were great. They were very flexible when we had to change the time of our ceremony as well. They arrived on time and played beautifully. They're an elegant addition to any wedding.

    Excellent music, excellent service. You get what you pay for. They have a basic fee of two hours and you can pay for additional hours. Also, they offer different prices depending on the amount of musicians. Extremely flexible. Within the first two hours of the contract they were willing to play both at the church and the reception site.

    We hired Violines Galanterien for our ceremony music and during cocktail hour. They are pretty professional and the guests enjoyed the music, however, it was a bit difficult communicating with them as they conduct business in Spanish.

    Beautifully performed, simple, and accommodating. They do not speak very good English but it was enough to respond to all our our requests. They are VERY TALENTED and played beautifully, even adjusting the length of classic songs on the fly to deal with the differing speeds people were walking down the aisle. THANKS GUYS!

    Poor- she was very rude

    Terrible dont hire. She forgot it was a wedding. We hire her for an hour and she made sure we knew that. She was rude for no reason and we were so excited to have her. We just heard the wedding march at the beginning and end of the ceremony and no more. She needs to be more prepared for outdoor weddings. She was supposed to play our first dance in the background and no one heard the violin. Not a flexible person to work with.

    Greetings. We were very happy to have your wedding, just like the others. At all times we were in contact with the coordinator. The day before I called again to check with the coordinator and we asked if we would play under the sun, roof or tent. She told me that indoors. When we arrived it was in the sun, for a long time. The coordinator did not have our chairs set in the designated place for the ceremony. The ceremony started 25 minutes late. And we were under the sun from 3:45 am prepared without any problem to make your dream come true. I sent the coordinator a text message to put the chairs in the place where she placed us for the cocktail and the first dance so that everything would go faster. The ceremony ended at 3:50 and we moved where the coordinator indicated us for the cocktail and the first dance. 5:00 in the afternoon arrived and even so, despite the fact that a musician had to leave the place, we stayed until the singer looked for the guitar and settled down until 5:15 almost 5:20. You are missing the truth when she mentions that we were not flexible. I did not charge extra time to stay until 5:20.
    It was better that the singer was in front alone because she had her song in a different tone than ours. The coordinator always told us that she would sing near us and not where she was located. We're sorry for your discomfort, but the problem was coordination, not us, because I can't go to a place to do what I want. I discuss everything with the coordinator who is the link with us. At no point was I rude to any of you, it's not my style. I was always available on every call, etc. Only the day before the coordinator was upset with me because I mentioned that being there an hour and a half before the start of my participation was an exaggeration and that it was not necessary, she insisted and I told her not to worry that I was going to be ready at the time of the wedding. That was it. Much success.

    Saludos. Nosotros estuvimos muy feliz de hacer su boda, al igual que las demás. En todo momento estuvimos en contacto con la coordinadora. El día anterior llamé nuevamente para corroborar con la coordinadora y preguntamos si tocariamos bajo el sol, techo o carpa. Ella me dijo que bajo techo. Cuando llegamos era bajo el sol, por tiempo prolongado. La coordinadora no tenía nuestras sillas puestas en el lugar designado para la ceremonia. La ceremonia comenzó 25 minutos tarde. Y estuvimos debajo del sol desde las 3:45 preparados sin ningún problema para hacer tu sueño realidad. Le envié a la coordinadora un mensaje de texto para que colocara las sillas en el lugar donde nos ubicaba para el coctel y el primer baile para que todo fuera más rápido. La ceremonia terminó a las 3:50 y nos movimos donde la coordinadora nos indicó para el coctel y el primer baile. Llegaron las 5:00 de la tarde y aún así, a pesar de que un músico se tenía que retirar del lugar, nos quedamos hasta que la cantante buscó la guitarra y se acomdó hasta las 5:15 casi 5:20. Usted le falta a la verdad cuando menciona que no fuimos flexibles. Yo no cobré tiempo adicional por quedarme hasta las 5:20.
    Fué mejor que la cantante estuviera al frente sola porque ella tenía su canción en otro tono diferente al nuestro. La coordinadora siempre nos dijo que ella cantaría cerca de nosotros y no dónde ella se ubicó. Lamentamos tu incomodidad, pero el problema fue de la coordinación, no de nosotros, porque yo no puedo ir a un lugar a hacer lo que yo quiera. Yo todo lo hablo con el coordinador que es el enlace con nosotros. En ningún momento fui ruda con ninguna de ustedes, no es mi estilo. Siempre estuve disponibles en cada llamada, etc. Solo el día anterior la cordinadora se molestó conmigo porqeu le mencioné que estar allí una hora y media antes del comienzo de mi participación era una exageración y que no era necesario, ella insistió y yo le dije que no se preocupara que yo iba a estar lista a lahora de la boda. Eso fue todo. Mucho éxito.

    I contracted them for an hour at my daughter's destination wedding but the violin and chello did not meet expectations. Lesson learned, never contract without meeting the musicians in person.

    We arrived early at the place of the Wedding. Since one hour early. Our contract start at 4:00 pm and we start play a Prelude Music for your guests. At the signal of coordinator we play the Ceremony Music for the Bridal Party and Bride. In the middle of the ceremony we play in votes and ring ceremony as agreed. Finally we play recessional song. The service was completed as you wished. Finally we performed in the way we discussed. It would not have been any different if we had seen in person. We know our job very well. We are serious and responsible with the service toward our clients. Success!

    I hired this company to provide the ceremony music in the church. I found this company on wedding wire.

    It was not what I had expected.

    I had scheduled a meeting at 4:30pm the Friday before my wedding with Mariam at the Church to go over details. Mariam confirmed this meeting via email.

    On that Friday she did not show up. At 4:45pm I called her. She said she did not recall us setting up a meeting and asked how I planned on paying her. She also said she would be there the day of the wedding no later than 2:30pm. The wedding began at 3pm.

    The next day her team did not show up until 2:55pm. The singer didn't show up until half way through the Ave Maria song.

    Her prices were rediculous and I had my planner pay her in cash. Completely unprofessional do not hire this company.

    I wish I could get my money back because it was a complete waste!

    The only time I heard the singer was from outside the church once all of my guests had left!

    Madame, we never come to rehearsal before the Weddings. We send you an email, saying we don´t go to church because we have another Wedding on Friday. We arrived early at church and we a played the Prelude Music. You can confirm the information with people who works at the church. It was coordinated with the person you left in charge to give the signal when they had to change the piece. Visibility in the Cathedral was uncomfortable. We talked about the same things three or four times and still we did not get the signal. Many people were send to give the signal and that was not the agreement because were waiting for the coordinator signal not another. The situation was due to the coordinator of the Wedding. Not with the group. The service was completed as you wished. I hope I´ve clarify with the person in charged that we arrived earlied, an had the opportunity to coordinate and musical prelude that was performed. Finally we performed in the way we discussed. We are serious and responsible with the service toward our clients. Our clients are satisfied and convence of our responsabilities toward our company. Sincerely Mariam.
