    I can go on and on and on about how amazing the Westin is. My guests and I stayed at this hotel for my wedding in August. I'll start with just how beautiful the hotel itself is. The views of Manhattan are impeccable, the rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is modern and fun, and prices were very reasonable! I stayed in the Presidential Suite for my wedding, where I got ready with my best friends. As I said the views are fantastic and the suite is HUGE and beautiful. Aside from the awesome decor and rooms at the hotel, what stands out even more is the staff. They are truly truly truly incredible!! I had been working with Izabela all year on the hotel block for our wedding in August. Having never met her, she was so accommodating and pleasant to work with, always finding a way to add more rooms as time went on when we needed. However; the real testament to how lovely and amazing the staff is came the day before our wedding, when my husband and I found out that the venue we were supposed to get married at (Battello, which is located directly across the street from the Westin), was shutting down, effective immediately. As you can imagine, this was a HUGE shock and nightmare to say the least. Izabela and her colleague Eddie, heard this information through a third party and literally came running to our rescue. They ran across the street to Battello (where me and my husband were) when they heard the news and from that moment on, they did not stop helping us until our situation was figured out. They chauffeured us throughout Hoboken trying to find us another venue to get married out. They are truly amazing people and our wedding would not have happened if it wasn't for their help. We had our after party at Fire & Oak, & a brunch the next day as well, all which was delicious and reasonably priced. All of our guests raved about their experience there! I cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel.

    We recently had our wedding and reception at the Westin, Jersey City, NJ. During this entire process we have been delightfully working with Jennifer Alvizuri & Crystina Brunett from their team.
    They were very professional and accomodating to our questions and with their suggestions. They showed excellent planning- coordinating and event coordination skills during this entire process and we are so glad and thankful to have them assist us in our preparations.
    We also appreciate the service and professionalism demonstrated by the entire Westin staff during our ceremony and reception. We will always recommend Westin, Jersey City to all our friends and family for their events. Thank you once again.

    We had our reception at the Westin Jersey City and the party was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We worked with Elizabeth Stacey from the start and she was absolutely fantastic at coordinating and handling all the little details. I never had to worry about anything because she had it taken care of. The staff working at the reception were all incredibly friendly and attentive, and my vegetarian friends commented that the the wait staff remembered to come to them with all the vegetarian hors d'œuvres. They seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and made us feel taken care of. And the food was incredible, our guests raved about everything from the hors d'œuvres to filet mignon to the tiramisu dessert. The night was just amazing and we would highly recommend them as a venue!

    The Westin was a beautiful venue for our Indian wedding. They have a nice outdoor space across the street by the marina for the baraat to start. Many of the other hotel venues in the region that we checked out had ugly carpets and out of date interior styling, but the Westin Newport is very modern and well-designed. The grand ballroom where we held the ceremony and the reception is a beautiful room with high ceilings. The guest rooms and suites are very spacious with luxurious beds and the room rate we got for our wedding guests was very reasonable.
    However what stood out the most about the Westin Newport was the quality of the service. We worked with Elizabeth who was incredibly helpful with all of our planning. She worked with us to get every detail we wanted for our wedding including several last minute changes and additions while still keeping our budget in mind. She responded reliably to emails and messages in a very timely manner and was always pleasant and managed to seem relaxed. On the day of the wedding she coordinated all our vendors seamlessly so that everything was set up and arranged exactly as we wanted it and right on time. The additional staff that worked with us that day including the service staff was consistently very professional as well. Overall we and all of our guests had a wonderful experience and a great stay at the Westin Newport.

    The Westin Jersey City Newport was the best place we could have had for our reception. Elizabeth Stacey, the event coordinator worked with us every step of the way, from conception to execution, and everything worked seamlessly. She was able to create our concept that we wanted and any request we had, Elizabeth worked to be able to provide it for us. The entire staff the night of the wedding, including Elizabeth, worked tirelessly to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and that we did not have to worry about one thing on our wedding day!

    My husband & I cannot thank Elizabeth Stacey of The Westin in Jersey City enough for making our entire Westin Wedding Weekend exceed all our expectations! Our December 17, 2011 wedding at The Westin was perfect in every way, every detail and every moment. Elizabeth was invaluable to help with all the little details that existed and went above the call of duty on the day of our wedding! We were able to relax, enjoy and embrace our wedding day. Our family & friends can’t stop talking about it and how fabulous our wedding was and we have Elizabeth Stacey to thank for that!  
    Elizabeth Stacey helped to create and make our wedding visions and dreams come true! Elizabeth was the 3 P’s: professional, prompt and personable. In addition, she was sweet, organized, accessible and responsive. She was more than happy to meet with us on several occasions to go over the details, to do a walk-thru at the site, and to meet/talk with our vendors. She was always a phone call away and ready with a knowledgeable answer. Elizabeth promptly answered every question, calmed our every concern and listened to our every vision and request. Elizabeth was there for us every step of the way and for the entire wedding day and night coordinating to handle the small emergencies that will inevitably arise. She was always ready and willing to do so many of the little things we forgot or couldn’t get done like setting up our lollipop table card display, setting out all our DIY signs and frames and creating our awesome Hot Chocolate Bar. She was probably responsible for countless other things that we don't even know about.
    The feeling of showing up for a wedding and having it go incredibly smoothly is wondrous and a relief. Everything from the setting, the food to the cake and every last detail was nothing but perfection. Our wedding was everything we imagined and SOOOOO much more.  We are about 4 weeks out from our wedding and we still smile when we reflect on it. When we look through our wedding photos we smile and say, “Thank goodness for Elizabeth!” Elizabeth Stacey was amazing to work with and helped us to bring a truly memorable day to life. She's a coordinator that knows how to get things done and how get them done PERFECTLY. Elizabeth combines the calmness, organization and knowledge you need during the stress-filled planning and preparation period, and the focus, composure, and professionalism to make the event happen.  We honestly had about as problem-free of a wedding one could imagine, and a lot of that was due to Elizabeth Stacey.

    We held our September wedding at The Westin in Newport Jersey City. Our wedding coordinator Elizabeth was amazing throughout the entire process. She made sure everything went smoothly including dealing with all our vendors. The Newport ballroom is gorgeous and the balcony area includes outside space and views of the Manhattan skyline.

    The food at The Westin is amazing! Our guests raved about our cocktail hour - they said the sliders were unbelievable - and the dinner was outstanding as well!

    In terms of services, Elizabeth's team are total professionals. Both the bride and the groom had their own attendant's all night and any issues were attended to immediately. Elizabeth even took care of an issue that came up with the favors that wasn't even her responsibility.

    Overall, we were thrilled with everything about The Westin. Service is so important when considering everything that goes on during a wedding and Elizabeth and The Westin are in a class by themselves!

    Westin worked so hard to get us the best value for our money. We are extremely pleased with the planning process so far and can't wait until the day of!

    I had a very nice experience contacting Westin Jersey City to plan my wedding. I didn't eventually hits my wedding there simply for logistics because the chosen venue was more central, I'm leaving a review so prospects can note my experience working with Jennifer Alvizuri - the catering sales manager I worked with over >6 months.

    My wedding planning was very awry for reasons outside my controls; our chosen month & arrangements changed thrice from July 2014 (lunch reception) to Nov 2014 (dinner reception) and finally to Feb 2015 (ceremony & lunch). Each time, Jennifer was quick to work on my proposals, send detailed proposal with attractive & competitive terms. She answered my questions patiently. It's also a very nice facility. Location is excellent. And with the NYC views close by, it's very convenient for wedding day photo shoots. Part of me really wanted to book Westin, and if I had, I think I would've had a good experience. For the location, brand name, Westin offered me a very attractive package that was hard to ignore, and especially attractive if one compares it to other nearby popular venues. Though I didn't go for it, it always remained in my top 3 choices. And I would definitely it as a strong venue option to consider.

    There are very limited hotel options in Jersey City and the Westin is the nicest based on value (if you have the budget, book the Hyatt). The staff at the Westin were very difficult to work with for room blocks and planning a breakfast the morning after. We were also very disappointed that they didn't do anything special for our honeymoon suite. That being said, my guests did like the hotel and it was very central to the PATH train.
