Wild Flower could not have been a better place to have my reception! I was so happy with everything and my guests raved about the food long after the reception was over. My mom actually received four thank you cards specifically mentioning how wonderful the reception was! Tracy was amazing to work with...she really made sure every detail was taken care of.

The Wild Flower was everything we were looking for in a venue. We wanted to have the ceremony and reception at the same place, so we rented out the entire facility to give our guests (approx 90) plenty of room to move about. The loft is absolutely beautiful with exposed brick and lots of windows, which let in the natural light at dusk. Tabor, the event coordinator, was so helpful and made everything easy. She helped ease any anxieties or concerns we had and was very communicative, answering the numerous questions that arose during the planning process. The food was delicious and the staff was great. I could not have asked for a better wedding.

This was a very beautiful location. The food was excellent and Tabor (the coordinator) was so wonderful to work with. Everything was set up exactly as we had wanted it and the staff was very helpful and nice. Tabor was easy to reach ahead of time when we wanted to talk about food and decor. The price, though high, were very competitive. It ended up being a little under $100/guest including decorations, room rental, food, alcohol, tax, and everything. They let me use my ipod for music. I would definitely recommend this venue for a warm, inviting, and classy setting.

We had our wedding here in October 2016. Let me say first that the new event manager Jackie was sweet and did her absolute best in trying to get everything together, given that she took over our event about a month before. My 4 main complaints about our wedding are:
    1. When I began the process with Wildflower, Tabor was the coordinator. At first she was great, then Wildflower began over working her to the point where I couldn’t get a hold of her for weeks. Then about a month before our wedding, we get an email saying she is no longer managing wedding events, and to speak to David. So, we meet with David and then a week later find out he too is no longer going to be doing events.
    2. We were told we could not get into the room until 3pm due to another event that morning, but that the tables would be out and ready– totally acceptable, until my relatives showed up at 3pm and the previous event was still there, dirty tablecloths everywhere and people still there. My relatives almost missed our ceremony trying to get this mess straightened out and the room set up.
    3. Our event was severely understaffed. We had under 100 guests, and the dinner service took probably 2hrs. They brought out food sporadically, and did not serve the head tables first. With the main course, the chicken was great, but the steak was raw. I had two guests that were pregnant that could not eat their meals.
    4. We paid for a full open bar, which was supposed to be stocked the whole 4 hours. On more than one occasion the bar was completely unmanned, and people were just standing there waiting for long periods. On the flip side, the drinks poured were strong – so all of our guests were happy about that!
If I had known all this would happen, I would have chosen a different venue and saved myself stress. However, aside from the dinner service/bar debacle, I had a great time. Jackie was a wonderful manager who was very responsive and was doing her best given what the venue gave her to work with.

We had our rehearsal dinner for 60 people at Wild Flower. Sadly, the entire event was a disaster. We worked with Tabor McBride from the beginning, who guaranteed us (multiple times) that she would be there for the event. When we arrived at the start of our rehearsal dinner, the room was not even close to being set up. It was at this point that we were told that Tabor wasn’t going to make it. The reason? Her boyfriend scheduled a surprise weekend trip and she had left town. The crazy thing is that I had JUST spoken to Tabor the day before to finalize details and she said absolutely nothing about this, so I was completely blindsided. Not only was this shockingly unprofessional, but I have not heard from Tabor since. Since Tabor decided to leave town for the weekend, she left our event with Joe, who tried his best, but who was completely unprepared (not that I can blame him). I had to keep getting up from my seat to remind the servers/Joe of what they should be doing (e.g., reminding them to start the passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour, asking about 5 times for the children (all under 4) to get their food). The rest of the food took forever to come out, and there was about a 45 minute delay from when the first table got their food to when the last table got theirs. At this point, the food was cold and people were sending food back to get reheated. It was also freezing in the room. I asked the staff repeatedly to make it warmer, but it never seemed to help (most of the women ended up wearing their coats). I had also been assured that during dinner, the bartender would walk around with wine to refill people’s glasses. I looked over during dinner and he was drinking a soda and playing on his phone. This isn’t even the complete list of issues. I feel terribly that I can’t leave a glowing review, but the entire experience was pretty awful. Bottom-line- if you want to try Wild Flower, go for dinner with friends and find someplace else for your important event.
