  I attended my friend’s wedding this past weekend in Los Angeles and I was amazed by the quality of service Zen-Craft provided for the wedding. I was amazed to find out from the bride’s father that Zen-Craft did the design, the bar, the catering, and many more. The design of the venue space was beyond beautiful. The flowers, table setting, Gazebo, and table decors was something out of a movie. From start to finish, the appetizers, the poke bar, dinner, and the ice cream cookie sandwich bar was beyond words. I highly recommend Zen-Craft for catering, events, and planning. I will be using Zen-Craft for my own future wedding to my fiancé.

  Zen Craft was an absolute dream to work with beginning to end. We worked closely with Michael & Amy to decide the menu, rentals and lots of other finer details. Once it came to deciding the types of plates and other show room items, Michael was excellent in keeping within our budget and making recommendations based on what was going on in the industry at the moment with helping us maximize what we were trying to do. He was incredibly organized and patient while answering all our questions. Always extremely prompt with emails and collaborated with our other vendors flawlessly. It felt great to know on our day everything would be handled so we wouldn't have to worry at all.
  The food was delicious at the event, just as it was at our initial tasting! Our guests LOVED it! Zen Crafts chefs are highly creative with their dishes and use fresh ingredients. They was also very kind to caterer to some specific needs we had (vegetarians and people with allergies). They made drink recommendations for our wedding and were spot on with our personal cocktails. The set-up's of the tables, chairs and other rentals were perfect - just as we envisioned.
  A few specifics for us from the event day of that stood out:
  - I really appreciated hearing someone went out of their way for her.
  - I kept ordering drinks then getting pulled away from the bar by friends. And the bartender would come out from behind the bar and go running after me to give me my drink - SO SWEET OF HIM!!
  - Everyone RAVED about the crab cakes!!!
  We cannot recommend them enough! I will use Zen Craft again when I have another catered event. Do yourself a favor and hire Zen Craf

  We hired Zen Craft to cater our wedding on 10/14 after they were recommended to us by our venue vendors. Our first meeting with Amy was great. She was very flexible on timing (since I wasn't able to leave work early and my husband works in the valley) she had tasty food for us to try. When we met with any at Zen Craft we felt like we were spending time with good friends. They are so friendly and really took time to explain everything to us. Throughout the planning of the wedding, Amy is probably the person I depended on the most. She always answered my millions of emails quickly and never once seemed annoyed by all my questions and concerns. She also helped a lot with the planning, helping with floor plans, the menu and creative aspects as well (and much, much more). Zen Craft provided us with our getting ready snacks too. Even though I didn't get to see her, Amy delivered them herself to our two locations. After the ceremony we went into the bridal room to find 2 signature cocktails and a perfect display of hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy before heading to cocktail hour. We were glad we ate them because we barely got to try anything at the cocktail hour since we wanted to talk to each of our guests. Dinner went seamlessly, the service was fantastic and the food was perfect. For dessert, Zen Craft made our cake, which was not only beautiful but VERY delicious, and mini desserts. After cake, we had our guests enjoy the fire pit in the courtyard highlighted by Zen Crafts s'mores display. There was a line! It was amazing how creative everything was in putting it all together. My friends and family are still telling me how much they enjoyed everything. The most fun we had during the wedding planning was the 2 tastings. Good food and good people!

  We loved working with Zen Craft from the very beginning of the wedding planning process until the very end of our wedding reception on October 7, 2017 (and beyond, we're still thrilled!). My correspondence with Zen Craft began with Michael but we worked almost exclusively with Amy and I'm sure we would have been in great hands with either. Amy was a lifesaver and she also performed double duty for us as our day-of coordinators assistant to Stacy who was also amazing! These people played such a large role in our wedding that we were really grateful we made this decision. I could not have imagined our wedding without Zen Craft. First and foremost, their food is delicious and their skills are so versatile that they can accommodate any taste. Everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees to dessert was beautifully presented and prepared. You will not be disappointed!
  Secondly, catering in Los Angeles is such a jaw dropping expense. Having shopped around a bit before deciding on Zen Craft I think you get an extraordinary value for all that they offer. I thought that we were working with a reasonable budget but some vendors will leave you feeling as though you are scraping the bottom of the barrel of their services. Michael let us know right away that they would be able to offer our guests the experience we wanted with the budget we had available and there were no surprises or hidden expenses anywhere. They were incredibly honest and upfront at every stage which was a huge relief. Their food is so modern and excellent, the staff was attentive and gracious (and they made sure that my now husband (!!) and I had plenty to eat!), dessert was beautifully laid out and every question or concern was immediately addressed.
  As our day of coordinator, Stacy took everything off my shoulders and made sure that the day went smoothly and that everything was where it was supposed to be at the right time. That is priceless! I could not recommend them more highly.

  Zen Craft was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! They specifically tailored our menu to fit our budget and they were extremely responsive and professional throughout the whole planning process. Although we didn't use a wedding planner or decorator, Jess & Amy made the whole wedding reception run so smoothly. They set up our DIY decorations and welcome table for us and coordinated the timing of the reception with our band. The food was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! I highly recommend Zen Craft- they made everything so easy for us so we could just enjoy the wedding day!

  Zen Craft did it all for my daughter’s wedding. From the food to the decor to flowers and the most amazing bar! She did not want a lot of tradition and they totally delivered. From the poke bar appetizers to the specialty drinks at the bar, everything was what she wanted. The cake was crystal and the ice cream and cookie bar was enjoyed by all!

  My husband and I selected Zen Craft for our wedding and could not have asked for a better partner to assist us in delighting our family and guests! Michael and the team were the only company we spoke to that were actually interested in us as a couple. They suggested a menu that was perfect for us. As a side note, our favorite detail was that they created hor d'oeuvres to reflect our backgrounds - the miniature British Fish and Chips were delicious and popular with all of the guests! On my big day, Zen Craft's service was well managed and the drinks were plentiful and strong during the reception. The flowers were gorgeous and my little handmade favors were handed out to every guest as I had wanted - I could not be more pleased!

  We chose Zen Craft for our farm themed wedding in Chino Hills. Working with Michael and his team (Stacy, Barrett and Amy!) was such an incredible experience for us! All were very conscious and attentive to our needs and requests. We were involved in nearly every step of the way. We were asked questions so that personal touches could be added to the special day. Michael incorporated aspects of both our childhoods into the entire event down to floral and menu and that's something we found truly unique. Everything about working with Zen was seamless and cohesive. A beverage program that complemented the food we mind boggling. We had a charcoal and burnt orange champagne drink, and a green tea and sake martini that was as beautiful as it tasted. Michael thew in a surprise of gigantic marquee love letters that I wanted so badly that made me cry. This is an incredible set of people dedicated to making your experience unique. I highly recommend them for any event that you do.

  If there was a way to put ZERO stars I would. I am here to warn ANYONE planning a wedding to not hire this company under ANY circumstances. I was involved with the entire process of my loved ones wedding.... we literally had to find someone else 4 hours before the wedding to cater the food, bartender, and decor set up because they ( Zen Craft) cancelled the same day just hours before the service with NO explanation as to why. There is so much more I can say, but to cancelled hours before on the day of someone wedding is enough, and hopefully this review will save someone else from this type of heartache, stress anxiety, and lost of money... that's right, lost of money, because the event was paid in full and the couple did not get any of what they hired them to do.

  My wife & I hope to be the first of the many to warn people to stay away from this company. We attended a lovely wedding this past weekend and were completely let down from the food service. Being as we are close with the couple, we got some very disturbing information. The appetizers that were passed around came out ice cold and mushy. Main dinner was served almost 2 hours past the expected time & once they were served guest were given meals by proteins. So while my wife was eating her fish I had to wait another 30 minutes for my steak. My family was sitting at one of the end tables and overheard the owner screaming at other staff members, for something that was clearly no ones mistake expect the caterers. We were then asked to go downstairs as the groom went to speak with the Owner. Come to find out the owner through the contract in his face and stormed off. This seemed like a joke & I hope all guest from this weeding complain, because it was unacceptable.

  I was appalled at how this company left a Bride in groom in the worst situation you could ever leave a wedding. By taking all their money and then cancelling HOURS before the wedding. I worked with an amazing Bride and groom that had to change their venue a few weeks before the event and communicated this to all the vendors, including me (the wedding planner) and when I was making last minute calls, they not only complained and bad mouthed the couple to me ( on our first conversation) but also said that in so many words they were really looking to get a contract with the previous venue that the bride and groom were supposed to get married at and now that they had, they weren't sure if they wanted to work with the bride and groom. I urged them to reconsider and not to ruin the wedding for this couple. They were hired to not only do decor for the wedding and reception space but also food and bartending for the reception. The evening before, I called to confirm and they said they would be there to set up around 2 hours before the wedding. The next morning they called and told me that they would not be able to do the wedding and they just didn't have time because they had booked a few gigs with the previous venue (the contract that they used this couple to get). I was so stunned and disheartened to now see this couple and all their family members have to frantically run around and have their wedding be late due to having to now get decor, food, and everything else just hours before their wedding. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in my life and hope that couples read this and steer clear form this company.

  I was appalled at how this company left a Bride in groom in the worst situation you could ever leave a wedding. By taking all their money and then cancelling HOURS before the wedding. I worked with an amazing Bride and groom that had to change their venue a few weeks before the event and communicated this to all the vendors, including me (the wedding planner) and when I was making last minute calls, they not only complained and bad mouthed the couple to me ( on our first conversation) but also said that in so many words they were really looking to get a contract with the previous venue that the bride and groom were supposed to get married at and now that they had, they weren't sure if they wanted to work with the bride and groom. I urged them to reconsider and not to ruin the wedding for this couple. They were hired to not only do decor for the wedding and reception space but also food and bartending for the reception. The evening before, I called to confirm and they said they would be there to set up around 2 hours before the wedding. The next morning they called and told me that they would not be able to do the wedding and they just didn't have time because they had booked a few gigs with the previous venue (the contract that they used this couple to get). I was so stunned and disheartened to now see this couple and all their family members have to frantically run around and have their wedding be late due to having to now get decor, food, and everything else just hours before their wedding. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in my life and hope that couples read this and steer clear form this company.

  Back in September, my family had hired ZenCraft to cater my cousins wedding. Everything was fine, they took the payment and nothing was wrong until the morning of the wedding! They called and told us that they couldn’t cater at all. No valid reason, no apology, nothing. Just claimed they couldn’t make it. We all came together to assemble something as fast as possible. All we could get at that time, that last minute and on a weekend day was, the equivalent to fast food. Not to mention we had to run and get all of the disposable utensils last minute as well. This was also something that we paid out of own pockets yet again because ZenCraft never returned the money, never mentioned a refund or anything of the sort to make up for their failed service. Please beware of this company. Steer away from them and do NOT give them any type of business!

  This catering company deserves the lowest rating humanly possible !!!! Zen Craft canceled the morning of my family members wedding with no explanation we had to pull things together hours before the wedding so everything could go as planned . Everyone should be warned about this catering company because no one deserves to go through this on their special day .
